Villain

Hard Justice
They've seen the worst of humanity. They've seen it. They've experienced it. They've been part of it. They've had enough of it.

A group of people, frustrated at the laws ineffectiveness against crime, gather together and decide to take the law into their own hands. Dressing up as super heroes the team begins their crusade against the threats that plague their city. They set out to do good, but there is always a fine line between what constitutes as justice and what is just mindless violence. Are these people really helping or are they as twisted as the criminals they wish to stop?

I'm looking for people to play members of the team. The game will begin with the team meeting each other during a bar fight and then coming to the decision to don costumes and patrol the streets as vigilantes. The characters involved should be people who have experienced hardships to make them decide to take up a life of fighting crime and should be people who can defend themselves.

Crimes of the Grimoire
'Who do the police turn to when the crime is impossible?'

Its a bizarre world. Children have been going missing when the moon is full, buildings have gone up in flames but theres no sign of arson, rich men have been found frozen solid in the middle of summer and jewelery shops have vanished into thin air. The newspapers cover up these bizarre stories and the police deny their existence, but theres a man that specialises in solving the bizarre. A one of a kind detective that knows of magic and sorcery and its affects on the blissfully ignorant mortal world. Its a dangerous job, but an exciting one and this detective needs a partner.

I'm looking for someone to play as the detectives assistant. The first post will be the two of them meeting for the first time and solving one of these crimes. The assistant will be ignorant of the magical universe and through no fault of their own be caught in the middle of one of these strange events.

If anyone is interested in either game please let me know and I'll explain more. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hello, I am interesting in second one :)
Do you plan it to be forum multiplayer, or maybe 1 on 1 messenger?

Kristine

I myself prefer YIM when it comes to 1vs1 if it is ok for you

Villain

Fine by me I'll message you and we'll talk more.

If anyone is interested in the other game idea please let me know.

If we get the group together I'd definately be interested in this. Will it be restricted in area, say in a city or will it be across country in scope?

Villain

By that do you mean do they all have to be residents of the city in which the game takes place in or can they be from other places and countries? Because if so the later :) I if you're interested and didn't want to wait we could start up a post now with us playing more than one character, but that's up to you :)

TreyWalker

I think you've answered me, but the question I meant to pose was is the roleplay going to be constricted to a city or would they go to other places. And to be honest I think we could probably focus on two people at first, giving people time to join and if they don't we could add people ourselves.

Villain

Sounds good to me but I'm planning on starting with two characters so if you wish to do the same then thats fine by me. I'll start a post and let you know when its done.

If anyone else is interested in this game let me know.

I like this idea of yours. It could be interesting. Think you could use a "voice of reason" type character that has her own buttons that turn her into a bloodthirsty so and so? For that matter, how far are you talking about things getting taken? Is it a rough people up and leave them for the police type situation (like superheros usually do) or more of a complete vigilante justice type situation? Knowing these sorts of thing can help with character creation.

That sounds like just the character we need :) What I have in mind is for each of the heroes to have their own sense of justice, so some will just want to rough them up while others will kill. The idea will be to have the characters conflict with their ideals but yet band together because of their common goal of fighting crime.

Phoenixrisen

Alright, sounds good. I'll start thinking up my character. :-)

I think this should do :)

Player: Villain
Name: Ian Grant
Age: 32
Job Occupation: Police Officer
Appearance (Pictures can be used): Blond hair, blue eyes, tall with a good amount of muscle. He usually wears casual sweaters with jeans when he's not wearing his police uniform. He's not an attractive man but neither is he ugly, just very ordinary.
History: Ian began training to be a police officer when he was eighteen years old. Ever since he was little it was his dream to join the force and help people, just as his father did and his father before him.
Unfortunately Ian's hopes of helping people were gradually destroyed when he became a police officer. In his job he continuously found cases of crime that went unsolved and saw guilty men walk free from prison cells. Slowly he realised that although he was doing his best to help people, he couldn't save everyone and couldn't lock away all the bad guys.
Now Ian is thirty two and is doing his best to keep up the job that causes him to question his faith in people. He keeps encountering the monsters and doing his best to fight them, all while longing for the day when he can plant his boot right in their faces.

I really like the idea of the Hard Justice game, it almost has a 'Watchmen' feel to it, which I absolutely loved. Is this still going? Hope I'm not necroposting ;) Haha!

Villain

Never really picked up but if you're interested we could start a post :)

Kriz

Yeah, it sounds great. How'd you wanna' start off?
