I would have taken Adaptive Lover (humanoids), but all the best tricks require Intuitive Lover as a prerequisite, and I decided to dump Wisdom. Grrr.

TheVillain

I didn't have Easy to Read, felt against the character.

I'm chuckling that Jakk gets +16 on saves against STDs. Looking at the books, that effective immunity against damn near all of them- and the worst I can find he just needs to roll 4 or better.

I had to take Easy To Read, because it was a prerequisite of Smooth Lover.

I hadn't looked at the STD rules yet (though I did take Disease Resistance x2, because it fit), but they seem very disjointed, and need some proofreading. For example, it says to roll 1d20 to determine frequency and severity, but the given ranges are only from 1 to 8, so I think you'd roll a d8 instead. It also needs cleaning up regarding curing the disease naturally, and if you can cure a chronic disease non-naturally, and what the DC to do either of them is...

For the diseases themselves...BMS? Tuna? Mummy Crotch Rot? Overall, they seem to be much more for comedy than as a sex deterrent, though I guess that's fitting.

There appear to be 3 DC's. The first is to see if your partner has an STD (1d20 vs. Settlement Size+Social Class Modifier). The second is to see if you contract the disease from them - Constitution check (not a Fortitude save) DC of 2+Disease Mod+1/2 rounds of sex. The most contagious is +4 (gonorrhea, syphilus, STLycanthropy), so with a +14, Jakk would have to go for 18 minutes before being at risk of infection.
The 3rd DC would apparently be the roll to recover from a disease...but it doesn't appear to be explained.

TheVillain

I was going off the BoEF for disease. The "+1/2 of rounds sex lasted" seems stupid to me. Sex isn't like the 5-second rule in your kitchen.

5-second rule...LOL.

*goes to check the BoEF disease rules).*

Ah, yup, they actually function like D&D diseases, instead of the GUCK's odd mash-up. Add it to the list of questions on 'which rules are we using'. GUCK's diseases are Constitution checks with the scaling infection DC, BoEF is a flat DC against a Fortitude save (like disease should be).

The best combination of the two books looks to be:
GUCK baseline for Sexual Prowess/Arousal/durations.
BoEF rules for STD's and protection.
Possible modification of the BoEF stat-boost feats for GUCK durations.

TheVillain

Fits better that way anyway. STDs being present and certainly noticeable but not debilitating or determent makes things plot-hook-orific.

I mean, just a quick glance at Jakk's sexual habits alone gives some plothooks that look tasty to me.

1.) Raised as an Orc, Jakk thinks nothing of having unprotected sex with partners and possibly impregnating them while he himself moves on. Survival of the Fittest, if he could impregnate in one encounter obviously he was strong- strong enough that spreading his bloodline around would improve the local population. But the Orcs do have something similar to child support. If one of the mothers of his bastards can track him down and prove he's the father she can get help with a task fit for a warrior, and Jakk refusing would be seen as a sign of cowardice.

2.) Passing though a town Jakk visited about six months ago, Jakk is arrested practically the moment he arrives. A local merchant claims that last time Jakk was in town he forced the merchant to watch as he raped the merchant's wife and oldest daughter. Jakk admits that he had sex with both of them though his clan's claiming ritual, but both of them still could have said no and the merchant stayed and watched by his own free will. What happens next is anyone's guess.

3.) It's finally happened. Jakk's wandering ways have caught up to him and he's got some particularly nasty STD. The problem comes when he tries to get it healed, only to discover that it's not a Sexually Transmitted Disease- but a Sexually Transmitted Curse.

Not debilitating indeed - GUCK has even the mildest disease incapacitating characters for 1d3 weeks...

I just noticed you're hosting your sheet on a site with a dedicated Pathfinder sheet. Me likey.

TheVillain

Know a few sites like that, but not many. Pathfinder is too relatively new.

Indeed, so I like BoEF's STDs better needless to say. Imagine getting fucked so hard you turn into a vampire.  :o

Hmm. My Alchemist is QUITE gifted when it comes to poisons . . but not much of a kill/torture specialist. Should I ask for permission to design aphrodesiac/debilitating poisons? ;)

Hell yes. I'm suddenly envisioning a scene where she tests her latest aphrodisiac on the party in her magic mansion- only it's much too strong. Drama ensues.

Just keep an eye on your Wisdom. All Aphrodesiac effects tend to do a bit of temporary Wisdom damage :3

God, the sexual quip that came up reading that was almost to hard to resist.

But my wisdom's bad enough already...

Incidentally, I hope we have some decent combat specialists in the party, if the game is going to include fighting. I can pump out some serious buffs and bonuses, but my own offensive contribution will be roughly nill, with low physical stats and nonmagical weapons.

Well Jakk is a Barbarian with 18 STR. Give him a pointed stick and he'd still do respectable when he rages. Plus I gave him a sweet great axe. +1 Shock Thundering Vicious to be a little more precise.

[That means when it hits it does 1d12+3d6+7 damage. And when Jakk crits it does 3d12+2d8+9d6+21, Fort DC 14 to not be deafened permenately. Though every time it does hit it does Jakk 1d6 damage itself.]

Latooni Subota

Well, short to mid-range I do have some combat power.

Bombs: I have 13 spontaniously mixed 5d6 bombs per day. I can make them Explosive to increase splash radius to ten feet, and light people on fire for 1d6 a round until they get a good reflex save to put themselves out. I can lower the damage to 1d4 to make them Force Damage, which also force a save vs. Knockdown. Best of all I can make them Precise, choosing particular squares that the bombs don't effect in the radius so I can use them even if allies are too close.

Extracts: With my Infusion ability I can pop out a decent number of healing or support potions that can be used on the party, rather than just myself.

Poison: I can apply poison as a SWIFT ACTION to my weapons. I can basically pop out a poisoned throwing dart a turn as long as I have poison and darts left, and my crafted poisons are slightly enhanced due to Poison Expert/Master feats, so they will actually have a decent chance to work.

I'm sort of a red mage here . . Healing, Support, AoE, Debilitate, Damage all in low-to-medium amounts. If I get some Con/Dex/Str poisons I can actually help make up for any failings the party has in damage output.

I think your crit damage should be 3d12+2d8+9d6+21; bonus dice aren't multiplied on a crit unless they specifically say so - or did that also change in Pathfinder?

On the bright side, you can have your choice of an extra 5d6-6d6 fire damage on every attack, or +5-6 on attack and damage rolls, as long as I'm conscious and haven't run out of Inspire Courage uses yet. I can Haste you and other meleers for bonus attacks, and between my Ring of Blinking and Invisibility spells, I should be able to stay up for a while.

Also, I've become confused by this:
QuoteAll chars get free skill points in pairless levels (1, 3, 5 etc) for sexual prowess/performance skill.
Is that just 5 free skill ranks in Sexual Prowess? Jakk has 13 Sex Tricks listed on his sheet, when we should only be able to get 10, so I was baffled.

TheVillain

#141
Truth, my bad. I'm not sure if bonus dice are multiplied.

5 Free Ranks, Pathfinder gives 3 Bonus Ranks the first time you put a skill point in a Class Skill, and I decided to make out the skill with more points. So, 13.

TheGlyphstone

Oh, the +3 is actual ranks, not just a +3 bonus to the roll? Cool.

TheVillain

I'll check, but I think so.

Edit:- Checked. No they aren't. Curses. Back to my sheet.

ulthakptah

Am I allowed to use Arousing Sneak Attack with Death Attack to arouse and paralyze targets?

TheGlyphstone

Reading the Skills, I don't think so...it says:
QuoteYou gain a +3 bonus on all class skills that you put ranks into.

That's a bonus, but it's not physical ranks. If it were ranks, it'd just be saving you skill points, because
QuoteYou can never have more ranks in a skill than your total number of Hit Dice.

So even as a class skill, we can only get 10 ranks in any one skill, it's just +3 better on the total.

Latooni Subota

Hmm, i'm gonna need some guidelines/rules on how to make original/custom poisons in the future. :3

I saw, looked it up myself. Fixing my sheet now.

@u: I don't think so, I think you have to pick one. Though I'm pretty sure there is a feat that let's you use too different types of sneaks at once.

Death attack is not a form of sneak attack it's an assassin ability

TheVillain

Is it connected to your sneak attack in any way? Basically, the point is you can only have 1 add-on unless feats say otherwise.

Plus, I'm playing the Orc and even I think you're starting to sound a bit rape-y.  :o lulz
