Shel Silverstein

The Giving Tree
This book is a wonderful rendition about how friends give and take in life, and often one can be left behind, giving everything they have and receiving very little. But we can sometimes be happy by making other people happy, as The Giving Tree shows in her kindness to her friend, the Boy.

Runny Babbit
Though a bit difficult to read with it's mixed up letters, Runny Babbit was a cery vute, billy sook, as Shel Silverstein might have put it. It was a collection of just over 40 poems revolving around a very silly Runny Babbit, following him through some of his life's adventures. Recommended for children who are putting together their language skills.

Where the Sidewalk Ends
A wonderful book of fun, silly, and meaningful poems, great for elementary children and all ages looking for a sweet and fun read. As expected from Silverstein, another collection that will not disappoint.
"Listen to the Mustn'ts"
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child.
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLE and the WON'TS
Liten to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me ---
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.
Us against the world
Just a couple sinners making fun of hell
