Couldn't you just put it in your sig?

Marguerite uses that method and it's been effective (well, to me at least...  ;) ) in for seeing how likely she is to knock up a quick reply.

I really don't feel like this feature is really necessary. If you feel like it's that important, you can put it in your signature? There are plenty of characters and space for everyone to do so.

Not a problem. Just suggesting as the board is called "suggest anything".

I dont personally use signatures as i browse from work and all the snazzy pictures and avatars are not really safe for work. So for me thats not really an option. But thanks for the suggestion.

However... I dont think its an idea to just dismiss if its possible. I dont think it would hurt to look a bit like facebook as they have done rather well.

You could always use the text below your avatar for it.

And even if you disable seeing signatures, others can still see yours :)
