Fezzik's Rhyming Thread

[Xandria]

Of such a treasure she had heard, the folly of those who seek foretold

"What would be the price I wonder, a bargain in your favor?"

[Mordred]

"Oh such little faith have ye, cannot your beauty I simply savor?"

His wicked eyes and grin, however, told a different story

[Xandria]

Tapping her foot she spied his grin, but oh the allure of golden glory

“Very well you may admire, at safe arms length, and no more nibbles!”

[Mordred]

A sigh he growls as appears in his hand, 'ACME Ink For Tickling Scribbles'

With a shrug the imp does freeze, threatening with a paw of goo

[Xandria]

Hands on hips, then shakes a finger, "Don't you dare, oh you!"

Hiking her skirts, she turns to run, "That's enough of your silly tricks!"

Sighs wondering why she goes to places she picks.

After the woman turns, she chuckles at the man, "She's getting away."

[Mordred]

With a wave of his fingers, a barrier lowers, "Here we all shall stay!"

A clap of his hands brings a bar from the floor, "So, what poison shall ye have?"

[Xandria]

Astonished yet thirsty she eyes crystal goblets, pointing to one she takes a stab

"That one there with the liquid green, a curious brew is it not, may I sample?"

"I'll take, um, Manhattan!" she replies, "as long as we don't end up in a cave"

"Allright", he says, "the only cavities I like to know are far more small"

(couldn't find a word to use that would go like 'have' as it sounds - and "cave" was irresistible)

Up I shall bring another wall

I shall not drink my words loose

[Xandria]

Off the see the countryside on a little red caboose

Whizzing by green rolling hills, we see a blur of purple

With your beauty you lure full

My heart sings with the light of your face

(WOW! That was a challenge!  ;D )

'Twas but one more test in this strange place

Varied tasks, and daring feats, for those awaiting avatars

(LOL!  ;D)

But see where I reached a far

To excel at these glorious trials

[Xandria]

Words like magic do weave a spell, as potions glitter in tiny vials

Invoking laughter, merry mirth, here nonsense reigns supreme

I do like me some cream

On top of cake or by itself

[Xandria]

Even if it was conjured by a nasty little elf?

Muffins and cupcakes baked to beguile, a perceptible shimmer of silver

Let me take the arrow from my quiver

Aim for the apple on your head

(I dunno. I should go to bed now LOL)

[Mordred]

"Please aim a bit higher", said the nasty elf, "I don't wanna end up dead!"

Wickedly he licked his grinning lips, full of dastardly little plans

[gaggedLouise]

But suddenly the dwarven fiddler began playing, compelling him to dance

"Seek protection!" came a shout " before there's a misfiring with that long bow


(Longbow would probably have been too tough to ask a rhyme on, except 'gumbo'!)

"Clever little bardic trick! I'll buy that man a pint of Strongbow,"

Called someone taking cover behind a large oak tree.

Why did you call why not flee?
if you want we can talk with the person and ease and their angst

[Xandria]

You mean the weathered old lady the children call Sangst?

They cannot pronounce Sangstromboli you see, a name from the land of Scalp

This is a fact I do not Doubt
the quizzical rhymes have my head spinning three hundred and sixty degrees. Do you have a pill so that my brain may be appeased?

Here is a nutshell and within you will find, a grain which will leave you indeed well pleased
