Question: how do you make a direct url ?

Hi, I’ve been looking at E and I can’t find anything in regards to how I am supposed to do this, most of my partners has this direct link to their role play thread etc. In their signatures. Though I can’t seem to make one I’m able to make a spoiler page and get it to say something however when I try to do that and follow the same ‘recipe’ with the url nothing happens.

I am really sorry if this is a really easy thing, I tried to ask some of the people I’ve RPed with however even if they do give me tips and I follow them. Nothing happens, then again I’m not entirely tech savvy. What am I supposed to do ?

You need to use this code:

So you grab the link of the thread you wish to direct link to, and you can paste it after that equals sign in the code I put above, edit the text after the tag, and that should work for you. But let me know if it doesn't, and I'll see what I can do in a PM. :>
