Hi there,

this is an idea that I have had lately and which could be turned into a hot roleplay if played out right.

Basic premise is that a group of college students founds a porn label, most probably in some alternative kind of way. Let me be precise right away: I don't see that as an excuse of putting a lot of easy sex and smut into the game - the play should actually focus more on the relationships between the students, and how these and their friendships might change and alter in the course of this endeavour. The play should cover all the aspects: How the idea is born, how the members of the group join in, and so on.

Character-wise, what I'm looking for is maybe four to five more players, male and female. I'm really looking to get all kinds of types into this to make the mix of all of them interesting - as much ethnicities, personal backgrounds, sexual prowesses as possible. Actually, that is more the limit than a fix number of players, however, I think it may become difficult to be played with more than, say, six characters.

I'll post my own character in the next post, to make a start.

Darren Johnson is a 23-year-old student of business finance. He's tall, lean and has become quite some ladies' man on campus, constantly flirting. This goes together well with his inherent easy outlook on life. In his opinion, there'll always be a new opportunity or occasion, a door that will open even when you least expect it - as long as one keeps trying.

His background is the one of a guy from one of the less privileged suburbs of LA. He attends college on a church community scholarship, which pays for most of his bills. Recently, however, he screwed that up by following one offer, when he had been approached during a day at the beach with friends to have a couple of nude shots taken for a website. Now, however, he is facing being thrown from the scholarship list due to that - and even he realizes he is running out of options to raise the tuition money he needs.

Personality: A wild and crazy punk, she enjoys partying, smoking weed and playing guitar and drums. Currently she is financial screwed as her tuition was revoked because of her bad grades. Shes been struggling to make money by playing in a band, but things seem to be at a stand still.

Not one for being subtle, she can be crass and sometimes just plain rude. Shes fiercely loyal to friends and a bitch to her enemies. She met Darren at a school function and the two of them hit it off and became close friends. And now they seem to be in the same boat.

Name: Noah Pierce
Age: 19
Sexuality: Straight.

Personality: The potential heir of the wealthy Pierce Media Company, Noah has come from a life of privilege. From a young age he was schooled in socialising and etiquette, this combined with a lifetime of attending various events and functions with (and sometimes without) his parents has groomed him into something of a smooth-talker.

Despite his parent's wealth supplying him with most of what he needs and paying him through private schools and into college, he came to despise his absentee parents at an early age for their lack of actual attention. This has made him into a disobedient rebel, fond of abusing his money to his own ends. From buying expensive clothes for girls, to throwing extravagant parties on campus, Noah is reckless and has very little regard for the family name, nor the rules he breaks.

However his grades are starting to slip, badly. As is his parent's tolerance for being called by the Dean. Feeling as though a leash is closing around him, Noah has been looking for something to dedicate his freedom to. You know, in-between hitting on girls and being a smartass to professors.

Other: I figured Noah here might be a perfect partner-in-crime in starting this little venture up? He would love to convince other's to join and would gladly bankroll any equipment you might need?

As an addition:
Characters coming up might consider the following aspects. One is that at least one needs a little experience with videography to act as a camera person/cutter/director for the project.

Another fun aspect might be the tie-in of someone experienced in the porn world - either later in the play as any kind of character, or earlier as maybe some distant relative (an aunt, maybe) who supports the group with some advice.

Jade is kind and understanding, she’s the girl who will listen to your problems one day and bail you out of jail the next. She has this inherent need to help and almost mother people.  She’s open and friendly, though can become protective and show her hidden temper if provoked. She’s hard working and quick thinking which helps her get out of a lot of situations.

Growing up in a middle class working family, Jade was the oldest of 5 children, which made her use to hard work and helping out. She wants to make her parents proud but also live the life she wants. Jade is keeping that balance through majoring in education but minoring in film. She’s very visual aware and sometimes very anal about the projects put in front of her. Though no stress is too much that a little run or yoga session can’t fix.

So, any suggestions re the initial pairings? Might be one way for Darren to meet Aurora during said function, but it poses the question as for how far they would go, given Aurora's lesbian ways.

Also, how should Jade be tied in, as in who brings her to join the group?

I assumed they were all friends, or maybe class mates who are working on a project, and get into a discussion on how they are all financial struggling to pay their tuition. But I'm open for other ways on how to get everyone together.

Hart and GreenEyes, I'd really favor that solution, that Noah is closer to Jade than Darren. Yes, they are all somehow acquaintances of each other, but there are closer ties between Noah and Jade / Darren and Aurora. Actually its up to you two (Greeneyes, Hart) how you handle bringing Jade to the group - either way you suggested is fine by me.

Aurora, any good idea how Darren and her meet? Chance encounter at a coffee shop? Or shall we play out the "function" you mentioned in your character introduction?

Oh and yes, of course there should be maybe another couple joining in... for the sake of the mixture, I'd prefer another asian or black girl to come into the group... but ultimately it's up to whoever joins.

Personality: Leon is a cocky deutsch bag. He has no problem speaking his mind, or backing up his words. When it comes to women. Screw them and leave them. There's no love in this guys heart. He's not going to pick a fight for no reason, but if you go looking for one you would find it in him. He's a little on the crazy side. He tries to think of the craziest stunts and attempts to do them.

Biography: Leon has always had a troubled life. Fighting, stealing, stuff that landed him in juvi one to many times. He wasn't the richest kid in the world, but his parents did have some money. So he could what ever he wanted. By the time he was seventeen Leon began his stunts. Jumping off his five story house in to the pool was the starter of it all. He always filmed himself, so he knew how to handle a camera. Growing popular for some of his stunts over the years Leon was asked to do a porno by some low level production. Wanting to show off his talent in the bed Leon did the porno, and after its selling Leon got great reviews.

(So he could be a camera man, and in the porno.)

Personality: On the outside, Sheryl seems like a typical straight A student. She's an inquisitive science student who spends much of her time in the library. Sheryl is also a gentle girl who is always willing to help her peers with school work. Many see her as a sweet, innocent girl. Those who know her better, though, know she is anything but.
Background: Sheryl is the middle child of a Japanese businessman and an American nurse. Her older brother, Shaun, is training to be a surgeon, while her younger sister has just won a scholarship to study music in London. Stuck in the middle of two brilliant siblings, Sheryl often feels that she does not get enough attention from her busy parents. She makes up for this lack by spending her days in solitude in the college library. Her nights, however, are a different matter. When the library closes for the night, Sheryl hangs out in the malls. She has quite a spendthrift lifestyle, and the pocket money her parents provide her is seldom enough to cover her spending. Her father, disapproving of her lifestyle, has cut her pocket money, but that has not stopped Sheryl from hanging out in the malls till late at night. Right now, Sheryl needs to find a way to make a quick buck, as well as defy her father at the same time.

History: Jacki, or Jacqueline, as her parents would call her, comes from a relatively normal family. She lives a pretty low-key lifestyle, and her tuition and living arrangements are paid for by her parents. Right now she is in sophomore year, but just transferred from another school. Her lack of friends seriously clashes with her happy-go-lucky personality and so she hungers for company more than anything... but finding a way to live out some dirty fantasies would be just divine.


As for how she can fit in.. I haven't a clue!  :-)

Well the basic premise for the beginning is bringing "friends of friends" together with friends, so to speak. I personally could see her as a friend of Jade... maybe those two could pair up for the moment... Check with GreenEyes for details.

As for now, I think we are settled with characters, so for the time we are not looking for further persons to join in. Will let you know if that changes...

Always laid-back, self-possessed, and gets along with everyone.  Gregarious and loves to laugh.  He loves to chill with his buds and only socially, never to get drunk.  While he has no trouble chillin’ with the ladies, he’s never been the one into an endless procession of one-night stands.  He the kind that likes to call the girls the next day.
Biography:
Chino was born in one of LA’s barrios with a single mom who did a great job raising him on her own.  Smart, he aced his SATs and accepted a scholarship to college where he studies physics.  He works at a bicycle shop to help cover expenses, but its never enough, right?  His diet is Ramen Soup and tap water.

Heh, I would say so, dvalen, though there might be a bit of 'friendly' rivalry? Sheryl (my character) is probably majoring in math or chemistry (or maybe both, I never really decided, hehe), so she and Chino wouldn't be all that similar.

So I guess we could do a huge time skip I don't know how it works for anyone else, but I've actually got tested for STD and HIV and it took a week before I got the results. It's just a suggestion, but I don't think the rp would die if we didn't play out going to get tested etc. Just my opinion.

To be honest I don't know how you and Greeneyes should work out the meeting, but if everyone feels like being patient then I'd say go ahead and play it out just don't make it to to long, and at the end of it we can do the time skip. Unless of course we all want to do a little scene then that way it would allow us to have something to do while Darren and Jade "Talk" I'm sure.

Well I can agree with you, but I really don't see it a problem per say. I mean Leon and Sheryl had already had sex, though not threaded, it wouldn't really affect the scenes. Though if anyone else disagrees I will drop the idea, and just have him talk and work things out with Sheryl. I thought it would be cool for a pregame show.  :P 8-)

Actually I would prefer if we had some scenes between the partners before we come to the next group scene - remember that actually I had in mind putting the group dynamics that come from this particular project in front, and the relationships between the group members. The "on-screen sex scenes" I intended to be just that. So, if everyone hooks up, that would be great...

I think when we are doing any sex scene depending on how you want to take it. I think there should be a minimum of 12 post between the two characters. Six for each. I guess it's kind of leveled. The first two post could be the foreplay and what not. The next two sex or any kinkiness. The last two the build up and the orgasm.

Yes, that is possible. Of course, if the main thread refers to things happening in the couple threads, that should be cleared with your respective partner or any player concerned - nobody likes to be godmodded.

If everyone is fine with that, I would like to close the main thread as it is for now, and open a new one - a "Chapter 2", so to speak. For the sake of clarity and keeping track.

What we've had so far could be labeled "Ch. 1 - The beginning", and the next could be "Ch. 2 - The set-up", or something like that.

Okay, I'll put into this post the characters we're looking for. This will also be up in my signature as "Casting" post.

1 - Male character, college age range. Should preferrably join the group as another on screen participant of the group. Physically fit and endowed for the business should suffice to describe him.

2 - Female character, college age range as well, also as on-screen participant of the group. Anything here works, regarding to looks - the spirit of the game is to bring very different students together.

3 - Female character, 30s or older, adult movie producer. Preferrably to join the game after the movie is filmed - so there is no immediate need to cast that role, just putting it here so it's official that that character might be another figure in our play.
