Stratfordians, Anti-Stratfordians, and The Tempest

First, know this: I'm an anti-Stratfordian.  That is, I've become convinced that William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon probably didn't write Shakespeare's works.  More specifically, I lean toward the notion that the Oxfordians -- those who believe that Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford probably did write most of them -- are correct.

Now, I'm not here to debate the issue, but I would like to point out to any interested parties that several recent papers have been published which establish that The Tempest was in fact written before 1604.  This is important because many Stratfordians stated that Edward de Vere couldn't have been the author of Shakespeare's works because 1) Edward de Vere died in 1604 and 2) The Tempest was written after 1604.  Therefore, the Stratfordians' strongest argument has been refuted.
