I can't see the modify button anywhere for me posts, I was wondering if it's a member-specific privilige or maybe its not available for topics/posts older than 3-6 months?

Look to the right of the post's title, between the 'quote' and 'remove' buttons. It should be there, available to all approved members. Of course, you can modify or remove only your own posts...

I did - There's a quote, modify, remove button for this post I made here but none for this one. I wonder maybe it has something to do with it being uber old, and in the IM games wanted section?

No, it has to do with the thread being locked :P Unlock it (from the very bottom of it) and post - or start a new one.
