Best Served Cold

Setting: Modern day, location is negotiable.
Content: Light to Bondage.  Open to discussion.

Twenty-five years ago a young couple acted against their family's wishes and ran away to start a life together by eloping in an act of true rebellion.  Things were great in the beginning as they navigated the world without filial support, naturally progressing to becoming parents.  The timing wasn't great, their finances weren't in order, but they couldn't have been happier.

Or so the new husband and father thought.

Once the honeymoon phase ended, the undesirable traits in his new wife became more obvious - one being adultery.  The others being indicative of her family - greed, manipulation, and willingness to crush any obstacle with a heartbeat to serve her purpose.  Soon after the baby was born he discovered that she was not his.  Unable to tolerate anymore disrespect, he cut ties with her and went back to his family.  What had potential to be a reluctant alliance became a blood feud between houses that, two and a half decades later, still remained just as passionate and deadly.

So what happens, years later, when the woman betrayed by her mother meets someone she'd also burned in the past?


A few ideas:

I thought this was an interesting setup for getting revenge from different angles.  Looking for it to have mafia and/or other crime themes.  I'd like to discuss how the two characters form an alliance to get back at the mother, as well as tackle other dangers that are taking place around them.

The Guardian

Setting: Modern day, location is negotiable.

Genre: Contemporary romance.
Looking to play: Any.


After a long battle with a progressive illness, a young woman is faced with the final stage of her father's life.  Friends and family start to arrive and say their goodbyes as his condition rapidly deteriorates and pay their respects to his grieving child.  She accepts the offerings of comfort and solace with as much grace as she can while doing her best to entertain the guests who settle into the spare bedrooms of the house.  Her father was well-known and respected in the community and that meant calls at all hours of the day and visitors stopping by in constant, maddening intervals.

She was doing her best to be everything everyone needed while sorting out details of what happens after the passing when, in the midst of the chaos, the appearance of a familiar face nearly shatters the remaining pieces of her sanity.

Her father's requests at seeing his dearest friend one last time were finally satisfied.  They talked privately, and her father made the man swear he would look out for his only child and protect her from the vultures awaiting his demise.  He was the only one dangerous enough himself to keep her safe.

A few ideas: I'm thinking the woman will have to fight her father's siblings for the estate she is about to inherit, along with other possible dangers.  Maybe they try to get her out of the picture as well and plot to make her perish from an unfortunate freak accident.

There should be some history between the woman and her father's best friend that happened after she was out of college.  Now a few years later, she will be in her late twenties/early thirties and he should be at least in his late forties.

I'm open and encourage discussion on details listed so we can make the story our own.

Beware the Dark Wood

Content: Non-human. Betrayal. Violence. Revenge.

Scenario: Years ago, a man is cursed to walk the earth as a beast and is sentenced to live out his days alone, his insatiable hunger for flesh ensuring he remains in isolation.  The woods in which the creature resides surrounds three towns cut off from the main governing body and is said to be haunted by ghosts and ghouls and all manner of other terrible things that would result in a devastating end for any wayward traveler.  Only the bravest or most foolish venture along the wood instead of casting their fate to the turbulent sea as an alternate route.

The largest of the towns falls under siege by an ambitious, religious upstart who has gained enough of a following to be dangerous.  Hellbent on spreading his influence and preaching against immoral acts in the eyes of his gods, he casts out any who speak against him, one being a woman accused of being a witch for her unconventional use of herbs to treat various ailments.

She is exiled to the woods that has promised certain death to any who enter.  Only, when the beast finds her, he recognizes her as the one who has taken the occasional mercy on him by leaving offerings to keep him satisfied.

Later, she would return to the town with a new ally and save her people from the zealot.

Alternatively...

Before the curse, the man was someone who came upon some damning information about a local authority, but was too important himself to dispose of completely.  He left behind a wife in his exile, and as she begins to uncover the truth of what happened and why he was cursed, she takes her chances going into the woods every night to visit her husband, often bringing with her one of those responsible under the guise of seduction to keep her love fed.

Setting: Alternative world/history.  Sentient Forest.

From the Abyss

Content: Drug use.  Non-human.  Possible grief.

Scenario: There's a new drug on the market that is said to alter reality for the user and open the third eye.  It is not easily accessible for the average recreational user just yet due to its limited supply, and caution is heavily advised for those seeking it out.  Only those who have experience with psychedelics and have no known mental ailments make decent candidates for the drug, though some would argue that it belongs only in a lab rather than human hands.

A woman battling severe depression manages to get her hands on the drug through a regular supplier and, desperate to feel anything other than the constant gnawing numbness of her everyday life, she tries it out.

The hallucinations are an out-of-body experience unlike anything she has encountered before.  She finds other realities that are fantastic, horrifying, and different in every way to her own.  She comes out of her high feeling invigorated and energized.  There comes a second time, and a third.  Each one produces new experiences that play in her mind for days after.

It is on the fourth trip that she notices something familiar.  A world with a beautiful, strange being who she always sees in passing.  Except that time, [they] look up and notices her.  Follows her.  When the effects of the drug wears off, she realizes something is very, very wrong.

Setting: Modern city, could be anywhere.  Alternate dimension.

Requests: Looking to play the traveler.  Please read my O/O before contacting me.  I am open to how the story progresses, who the being is, what their relationship looks like, etc.  Does she wake up in [their] world?  Does she wake up with [them] inside hers?  Would love to hear your ideas.

Taken=Last Call

Last Call

Content: One Shot/Short Story.  Human (unless we put a supernatural spin on it).  Consensual.  Lots of seduction & a slower build.

Scenario: She (MC) and her partner were once devout regulars at a particular restaurant/bar.  Their lives are busy, but they always kept their scheduled Thursday dates as a way to space for just them.

Over time the dates held less significance on his end.  She would wear a dress that made her feel beautiful and get dolled up for the occasion.  Just for him.  He would reward her by arriving late, sometimes keeping her waiting for an hour or more past the agreed time.  When he finally came, his attention would be absorbed by his constantly pinging phone.

Sometimes he wouldn't show up at all.  Promises to make it up to her were empty.

The night she decided to end the relationship was when he never made an appearance.  The restaurant was preparing to close in an hour.

She checked the time on her phone and looked up into the eyes of a stranger nearby.  Someone she had been avoiding eye contact with the entire evening, as she did most times on Thursday nights since they, too, were a regular.  They were the complete opposite of her partner, who for the longest time seemed like the perfect person for her.

When she went to pay her tab, she found it was already taken care of courtesy of the stranger.

Standing to leave, she mouths a thank you and, to her surprise, is drawn closer with a beckoning hand.

Setting: This can take place anywhere, really.

Other info: I'd like to explore a connection between the woman and stranger where they are opposites that attract.  Heavy on the seduction aspect, getting under her skin before she is taken home and shown that she is worthy of affection and attention.  I left the gender of the stranger vague on purpose, as I do not have a preference for who they are.  Just someone interesting.

Taken=A Second Chance

A Second Chance

Content: One Shot/Short Story (could be fleshed out for something longer).  Consensual.  Human.  Ex-boyfriend's father.  Potential crime thriller vibes.  BDSM elements if preferred.
Scenario: A woman (MC) who has found herself in trouble reaches out to an unexpected ally from her past for help.

The only good memories she had of her ex were when his father was involved.  He was the complete opposite of Brandon in every way and it was inexplicable how a good man could have created such a monster.

It was a chaotic relationship that started in their early twenties and lasted a couple years, each one leading to more turmoil and abuse at his hands.  Eventually she escapes, cuts all ties and moves far, far away to start a new life.  For a while, things are great.  She has a stable job, her own residence, and the sweetest guard dog who would fail the task every time, as he has never met a stranger.

But when her past comes back to haunt her and, lacking her own parental support, she calls the one person she trusts will help her.  The years have changed him and he shows he is willing to do anything to keep her safe, and finally call her his.

Setting: This can take place in any city in modern times.

Requests: Just looking for something sweet that may have a peppering of danger/high stakes to keep things interesting.  My intention is exploring a second chance romance and the possibility of a happy ending.  Please read my O/O (linked down below) to get to know more about my tastes, style, likes/dislikes, etc.  I'm open on the details of how these two come back together, but would like to stick with some sort of heroism on his part.  Tell me your thoughts.

Not Craving=Scream for Me

Scream for Me

Content: One Shot/Short Story.  Human (unless we put a supernatural spin on it).  Violence and gore (non-sexual).  Masks.
Scenario: Tis the season for carving pumpkins and haunted hay rides, scary movies and Halloween parties.  Oh, and murder.

A local club is hosting a costumed event for the occasion and it attracts all manner of guests.  A woman (MC) going through a recent breakup attends with a few friends to get her mind away from the chaos of her love life.  She meets a mysterious masked figure who, with the power of body language, manages to seduce her for the night.  The way he moves and touches her seems familiar yet he doesn't say a word and avoids all attempts to uncover his identity.  Not that it matters when all she wants to do is have a little fun, right?

Everything seems to go well until guests start disappearing as the night carries on.

And then body is found in the bathroom.

...and another at the back exit.

...and one more behind the bar.  (How did that even happen?)

What happens from there is absolute mayhem.

Setting: This can take place in any city in modern times.  I'm open to ideas.

Other info: This is a very loose idea and, really, just wanted an excuse to write something short and bloody sweet... and maybe to satisfy a Ghostface craving.  I'm open to tweak and modify as needed.  Let me hear your thoughts.
