Guilty or Not Guilty II

Not guilty. I'm on a short house sitting stint before a longer one later in the week. When I'm house sitting I don't get any real writing done. I've been caught up for five straight days, and I'll get caught up again come Monday.

Passing it on though.

Not guilty.  I'm at work and don't have access to my laptop.  I'm so far behind on posts that it will take more than a day to get caught  up.

The next person watches YouTube videos at least twice a week.

Guilty. One of my subscriptions is Jelle's Marble Runs, and currently the "Marble Survival 100" is on, which is one race a day every day for 14 weeks. These races are less than five minutes, but still a full video. And I do have other subscriptions that drop videos every week in the 20-40 range, and of course, Board Game Club, which drops a video between 50-90 minutes once a week.... I watch a LOT of YouTube videos. Very few standard issue tv shows though.

TNP has at least two streaming shows they are currently watching.

Guilty. It's an old solid steel one from the 1930s, gathering dust in the attic.

The next person hasn't been to a movie theater in the last year.

Guilty. I used to go to a lot of movies, and there are some coming that I want to see, but the last movie I watched in theaters was... hm... Mission Impossible 6? Six years ago now? I certainly haven't been the movie theater since the pandemic began.

TNP has the Baby Shark song stuck in their head.

Guilty. The crash of the waves, the song of the birds, the howling of the wind, the clap of the thunder, the rustle of the leaves, it's all truly wonderful.

The next person has written up a dream after waking up.

Kinda guilty. Sometimes when I wake up, I find that in my sleep, I dreamed up a conclusion to a story or a new post, etc. I don't think I've ever actually written up any of my dreams in full before though.

Not guilty. I don't dream at all, most of the time.

TNP has tried some kind of legal high.

Guilty, though not pot. You can get a literal high on hot food. I have a particular recipe where I just crush several dozen chiltepan peppers into the food, and make a sauce of half red vinegar and half Tabasco sauce. It results in a euphoric high for about fifteen to twenty minutes.

TNP has a low tolerance for spicy food.

Guilty. More so that my stomach can't handle it. I love spicy foods--the taste. But my stomach is a wimp. Thanks body.

The next person enjoys eating sweet and salty treats from time to time.

Guilty, from time to time. Particularly salty treats. Like the dinner I had, of jalapeno and cream cheese wontons. Those alone had 50% of my daily value of sodium. And they were labeled with the old daily value of sodium of 2.5 g, so it was more like 90%, if you go with the new value of 1.5. which of course, I don't, because sodium is not as much an evil for me as it is for others. 

TNP also likes salty snacks. And also doesn't believe the fiction they're bad for their heart. (Only about 10% of people are significantly affected by sodium in low doses. But the anti-sodium crusade would have us believe that salt is evil. That said, you may be one of those people for which it actually is evil.)

Guilty. My sweet tooth has abated in recent years, in favour of salty/savoury snacks. Anything containing roasted nuts is my catnip.

TNP has a favourite snack that is not mass-produced and has to be made at home.
