This is for the fan girls and guys among the members of E.  This shall take place upon a world of my own creation, hopefully bringing together all of the different FF based characters to this single land.  The question only remains, what shall you do when the time comes to make the choices that will change the surface of this land?  Will you help defend it for the right reasons, or choose to be a destructive force of nature that must be stopped at any cost?  The choice is yours, but be warned now, not all is as it seems.  Consider me your DM, of a sorts, while you travel the land, trying to figure out why you've been brought here and what it is you must do to return home, should you choose to do so of course.  You never know, you might find you like this place of new opportunities and magics unheard of, as well as the exotic races and treasures beyond imagining.  Canon or original characters are welcome, so come one, come all while I try to find a map and all that to help make things a bit easier on all of us lol.

The inspiration for this stems from several sources, but a song I heard while filling in a character sheet for a KH game is the driving force if you can believe that.  Call me weird that way lol.

Anyway, if enough interest is garnered then we shall move on to the next part.  Character sheets.  My usual rules apply for those that know me from past RP experiences.  Good grammar, two paragraphs of at least four to five sentences a post unless pressed for time or whatever, and just have fun of course lol.  Anyway, see you all soon hopefully.

I found the map I was looking for from a past RP but I have no idea how to resize it to its original size.  It's a huge map, with tons of cities, fortresses, and the like because it was two kingdoms locked in war with each other.  Long story, but regardless, while it is not mine, the person that made it I have not spoken to for a few years because we had a bit of a rough falling out with each other, and the RP died long ago around the same time.  Anyway, since I still hate his guts, I didn't bother asking lol.  Still, the credit isn't mine is all I'm saying, but I do ask that all that aside, if anyone knows how to resize a pic I'd greatly appreciate the aid guys and gals.  Beyond that, here's more of what I have in mind.



Everesta is a peaceful land, divided into two kingdoms, one to the east and one to the west.  Each is equal yet different in many ways.  However, darkness has begun to creep into the holy halls of both and begun to manipulate events so that open war spills out across the land.  Dark rumors abound of an ancient evil that has come back to take revenge upon those that had imprisoned it millennium ago.  Mages in the kingdom to the west of Whitewater has called upon aid, as has those in Darkhome in their own cause.  Each kingdom might be different, but if nothing is done, the things that make them equals will be lost and all hope of a better tomorrow with it if the evil wins in causing open war.  For now, portals to other worlds are opening, and emmisaries are being sent to gather heroes far and wide to stand for their respective kingdoms.  Welcome to Everesta, where magic is rich in the air, monsters are prolific, and the hopes and dreams of an entire world rests in your hands.

As if to make bold suggestion; I would suggest use BESM rule system (know well the 3th edition). You can google the rules for free somewhere in web but also you can acquire the PDF files from this site;

Anyways saying that you can create every possible FF char with BESM which is flexible (altough bit complex in 3th edition but depending how complex storyteller wants it to be).

But I am interested on this, system or not. But I think system is good way balance chars which may be in conflict with other players and monsters.

I too am interested in this, especially if it's in freeform. I've never gave much interest in system-based RPs mainly because it's kinda too complicated to deal with IMO.

Well, BESM uses 2d6 dice rolled against difficulty number approach. The complexity only comes in math to count players defensive values, HP, energy etc. Also count how spend points for stuff (stats and abilities and skills). All stats, skills and abilities are stacked to 2d6 dice usage and dmg is based on some basic value which is counted from factors involved.

So, system games are based on complexity of a math.

Well, shortly said BESM system is based on having char creation points which you use build whole char. Then important part is three stats; Body, Mind and Spirit. Body is for all physical stuff, Mind is for intelect/knowlegde and Spirit is mostly for charisma and magic stuff.

Then based 3 stats you gain HP and Energy already.

Then you buy attributes, some example increase HP, some increase combat prowess, some give special abilities (telepathy, summon, mental resistance vs mind control stuff etc). All have different levels and some default values. You can increase some default values which do not or do increase with higher 'level' attribute. Example telepathy has default value to range which does not change in higher level (the higher level telepathy determines what creatures you can communicate telepathically and how effective a mental 'suggestions' can be). But you can increase range by spending points increase the range (and some attributes mention that increasing certain ability's range/radius costs more or costs cheaper).

Anyways you could buy spell for your char which is called 'Fireball' and create it to be ranged attack with long range with wide radius and it has 'burning' special quality (leaves foes burned for 1 round after impact, can be 10 rounds if invest more).

Of course up GM can decide there is certain 'cap' which gives limit how much you can invest to one ability at time to avoid one player create char with almighty attack but be otherwise weak.

Last part is char skills which can be bodylifting, occultic lore and so forth. Attack rolls, stat rolls and skill rolls are done by 2d6 roll. Dmg roll is static value of the attack (depending how much was invested to attack's dmg value but most attacks have some default value based on one or two stats).

Sorry for the delay on my end.  Wasn't able to get on my comp until vey late and by then it wasn't working anyway since our hard drive, while wiped already, is slowly biting the bullet so we will have to replace it eventually anyway.  I'm still stuck on my PS 3but maybe I'll be able to get on before too long.  Anyway, I'm still eager to get this going but I'm not so sure about the whole BESM thing.  Beyond that, I'm glad of all of the interest and hope we'll get this going soon.

Sorry for the delay on my end guys and gals.  A couple of notes though before I send this off.  I do ask that if you DO use a canon character, that they be alive unless you have a good IC reason on why they should be around even if they've died in their respective game.  (Aerith, as much as I love her is a good example.)  Also, all stories that these canon characters come from MUST be resolved so that they are at their strongest as far as their character goes.  We won't be throwing meteors or all that around everywhere mind you, I don't mean strength wise.  I just mean they themselves as a person more than anything on this.  Beyond that, go nuts guys and gals.  Also, NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO USE BEATRIX!  She's mine lol.

While I'm sure a system would be interesting, I generally prefer to focus on character and story when it comes to online RPs and direct the battles through writing instead of random rolls. I guess it does add an improv sort of thing, having to write depending on whether or not your character recently got his/her ass handed to him/her, but I'm not sold on it just for that.

Personality;  Beatrix is almost blindly loyal to the royal family, proud, and a force of nature on any battlefield.  She also possesses perfect manners to those that aren't at the end of her sword, and she is a gifted leader among those that follow her lead.  Be it enemy or friend, she is soft spoken, but for those that threaten Alexandria's continued existence, expect no mercy from her.

Background/History;  General, heroine, loyal soldier, murderer, all these names and many more have been said of the woman that killed a hundred soldiers by herself in a single battle.  Whether or not she is in the Alexandrian Court, or on the fields of battle, Beatrix is the perfectly mannered individual with an iron clad will that might have wavered, but was never broken, even to this day, four years after the war has ended with Kuja and his dark allies.  Four years with very few enemies to fight save for monsters and the like that rarely but sometimes wander too close to the city.  Even the occasional peace establishing and strengthening mission between kingdoms has provided nothing in the way of a challenge, and even daily rigorous training can't keep the edge sharp anymore.  Even so, things are about to change.

Four years of peace, soon to be broken again if Fate has anything to say, but when the first of the portals appeared, with the blessings of both the new Queen of Alexandria, Garnet, as well as her beloved, (and often caught in the kitchen larders before dinner,) Zidane, Beatrix jumped through without hesitation, and is about to embark upon a whole new journey that will test every considerable skill she possesses and then some.....

I found the map I was looking for.  Study it carefully because we shall be exploring many a country in this RP I hope to create with all of you.  A couple of things to consider however while I'm on the subject.

EVERY MAJOR FF RACE WILL BE PRESENT!  That includes, Viera, Moogles, Chocobos, Humes/Humans, Al Bhed, Ronso, and so on.  So take your pick as you wish and each will be represented equally in the land of Everesta as I've come to call this place.  If there's one I'm not familiar with, I will ask for a wiki link to them so I have stuff to go on.  Otherwise, go nuts guys and gals.

Personality: More than anything, Setzer gets a high off of taking risks, which is why his main hobby and the center of his lifestyle is gambling. Whether it be based on skill or pure luck, Setzer will take almost any gamble sent his way, and even pose quite a few of his own. The riskier, the better. Poses as a bit of a ladies' man attitude, though really his is just starting to get over the tragic loss of the former love his life, Darill. Generally a fun and likable person when he isn't forcing you into a challenge of skill.

Ons/Offs:  See O/O page or just ask. Outside of stuff like scat, watersports, and mutilation, I'm pretty open to try new things.

Background/History: Much of how Setzer lives his life was caused by the tragedy of his youth involving his sweatheart, fellow pilot and risk-taker Darill. The woman meant everything to Setzer, but one day she decided to take her airship, the Falcon, and push it to limits in a solo flight; Setzer never heard from her again. A year later, he found the crashed wreckage of the Falcon in a distant valley, where he entombed it to honor the memory of his fallen love. Later, however, after years spent converting his own airship, the Blackjack, into a flying casino and flying it around the world, he would raise up and repair the Falcon to help his new allies take control of the world away from the mad god, Kefka. This would mark a major change in Setzer's life, as he finally shared his grief with his friends and was able to start moving on with his life.

A year passed after the destruction of the new god of magic, and the world was finally starting to return to its former shape. Towns became more than people huddling in burned out husks of old buildings and beauty returned to the landscape, with all lingering worshippers and servants of the evil Kefka slinking back into the shadows and fading away. Setzer was just starting to build more airships for the people of the world to make trade between distant lands far easier when the portals appeared. Leaving the rebirth of balance to his friends old and new, the gambler took one of the biggest risks of his life and stepped through to a new world and new challenges.

Reno is prominent member among the Turks, which is short for The Investigative Division of General Affairs Department. Or could say he was, originally Turks was small group begin with, filled with most skilled fighter's who had keen intelect, investigation skills and will do anything protect Shinra company's secrets. But overtime members were lost, some turning rogue or disappeared and leaving only just handful to time when FF7 events started. Since the descend of Shinra since AVALANCHE rescued the world from meteor, he rescued kidnapped president Rufus and helped with his goal to rebuild Shinra as form of redemption for their past sins. However after Rufus Geostigma disappeared and Shinra was rebuild it was discovered there was no need for Turks thanks new objectives and work pattern. Reno who had always been Turks agent, hating do casual paperwork and too lazy sweat his back in help rebuild he left the company and became lone mercenary until he was snatched by the portals.

Personality; Rhys can off come of as aloof, distant and uninterested to the point of being disdainful at times though he is always courteous, if wicked of humor. He values strength and self-control; his dark power held in check by his strict, if a bit twisted, code of honor. He serves his kingdom fiercely and loyally but never blindly. His fealty is only given to the ruling family only for as long as they serve the needs of their people. While he loves the thrill of battle he is no warmonger. Rhys is willing to work in the shadows to carry out the interest of his kingdom. To those rare souls that he had deign worthy enough find that beneath the cold sardonic man capable of great passion and kindness that that is usually reserved for woman and children.

Background/History; Rhys is bless or cursed depending on how you look at it, with Immortality - he could still be killed by mortal means but Time no longer has any hold over him. Before this event, during his first lifetime when he has still yet mortal he had been born the illegitimate son of a renowned lord and a young chambermaid employed in his household. When the Lord learn his mistress was with child he paid her generously sent her away to the countryside and would send her a yearly stipend for the care of his child. Rhys grew up in a town near the Alexandria border, his mother had married the local blacksmith when he was five and gave birth several other children. His mother, once so close and kind, proved weak willed against the persuasions of her husband and often turned a blind eye to the harsh hand the blacksmith dealt her son. Rhys quickly learned early on how to defend himself from his step-father, a devoted father to his own blooded children, he was a tyrant to in his opinion his wife's unwanted bastard. If not for the money given to them for his care and schooling Rhys was certain he would have been booted from his home a lot sooner then his tender twelve years of life when his mother had finally passed on from a sudden illness that had swept the village.

With nothing to hold him back now Rhys took what coin he had managed to save and what supplies he had could to gather and left. Since he was something of a runt in comparison to other boys his age he was usually smarter and quicker than them, a fact he used well to his advantage having been accustomed to dealing an opponent being easily three times his size. It was such skills as they that caught the attention of a wandering traveler who in truth had been had been the king of Esto Graza in disguise. Seeing great potential in the boy the king took the boy back with him to Esto Graza where he was fostered with a family of the king's adviser. Rhys began to thrive in his new environment absorbing everything like a sponge to water. When he was of an age and proved capable enough the King had him trained in the Art of the Dark Knight, an elite class amongst the warriors Esto Graze but one few ever obtained. The king's assessment had been proven right when Rhys completed his training after a few years. Rhys served his lord faithfully without question for many years until an incident opened his eyes to how corrupt his liege truly was. He and his men had been sent on a mission to retrieve an artifact the king had said had been stolen from his family many years back by a group of demon worshipers and taken to a remote temple. Seeing no reason to disbelieve his king Rhys and his men went by airship to the temple and slew all those inside. Sensing something was amiss when the temple's inhabitants offered up only a token's resistance Rhys still continued on with his mission and entered the final room where he struck down the high priestess as she stood between him and his objective. Taking the artifact he was preparing to leave when the high priestess, using the last of her strength and breath, laid her curse upon him.

Waking back in his personal quarters in Esto Graza Rhys had been horrified to learn not only of the curse that been place on him but that the artifact he had been sent to retrieve had actually been a holy relic belonging that to that temple and the demon worshiper he had helped dispatch had been the actual guardians. Sicked he confronted his king who freely admitted that he had lied - for the greater good. The relic was the final component needed to power an ancient machine built by the king's earlier ancestors as a means of defense but the current king intended to weaponize the machine to aid in his mad plans to conqueror the other kingdoms. What happens next is anyone's guess but the ending was all the same; in trying to activate the modified machine caused an unexpected catastrophe result in turning the once lush kingdom of Esto Graza in a frozen wasteland and the king brutally murdered.

Rhys himself left his former home and began to travel about the world for many years as a mercenary and cultivate an impressive network of contacts and informants before settling back into Alexandria where he reacquainted himself with an old friend. Edward Talbot had been a rare confidant in his early years when they had ventured together and knew of his past. But now Edward was approaching his final years of life and was in need of a favor since he had no heir to pass on his title and possessions onto and Rhys had grown weary of constantly traveling about that Edward proposed he "adopt" Rhys. He would play the role of his son who had been fostered with distant relatives to at protect him from the political unrest that had gripped Alexandria some years before and had simply stayed with those relations until know. It had taken some convincing by Rhys agreed. Once his introduction into society was made and ever the warrior Rhys made a name for himself by enlisting into services of Alexandria as a knight and worked himself up to the rank Captain, leader of the Saturian knights. He soon came to love the kingdom as his new home, the monarchy was genuinely just and caring for their people prompting the immortal to use all his resources to keep the kingdom safe from harm.

Personality;  A bit rash and headstrong, Artemis is a bit 'leap before you look', having had enough natural talent that it's never burned her before. She's a bit of a thrill seeker but would adamantly deny it if it were pointed out to her, the young burmecian trying to keep a mantle of respectability like her idol Freya. When it comes down to it though she just doesn't take her duties as seriously and sometimes can get bored or antsy if she's not in the thick of things.

Background/History;  Artemis was still in training when Burmecia was sacked by Alexandria forces. While it was a dark day for her people it was perhaps a lucky day for her, as if she had been fully trained she might have died on the front lines that day. Furthermore she was sent with one of the groups that didn't flee to Cleyra, so she avoided the massacre that occurred there as well. Vowing revenge, Artemis trained harder then before, inspired by her idol Freya and her devotion and bravery. And yet...by the time she was ready, the war with Alexandria was over...and the threat to Gaia was something she wasn't in a place to deal with, no being associated with the heroes who did deal with Garland and Kuja. It became a greater and greater source of frustration for her...even monster hunting became less and less important as the mist had ceased flowing. This would eventually lead to her going off on her own to find something that would allow her to prove herself...to overcome her insecurity within that she couldn't protect her people when they truly needed it.

Personality: Strong, beautiful, and naturally spoiled. She often struggles with her rather luxurious upbringings, which often saw her treated as borderline royalty because of the deeds of her parents. Oftentimes, her pampered nature ends up showing in the worst of instances, though she does try her hardest to be better about not being that kind of person. Other then that, she carries a heart of great kindness, often going to astronomical lengths to ease the suffering of those that she comes across. Often, this shows just how spoiled she can be, as she refuses to take no for an answer, or consider the risk she puts upon herself or her allies in the process of helping said people. She always intends well, she just has several flaws that she needs to iron out before she can become the kind of hero that she's expected to be.

History: Twenty years ago, trouble was falling upon Aria's homeworld, the grounds were shaking, storms were tearing ships apart at sea, it seemed that the entirety of the world was about to collapse upon itself. However, it was foretold by an unknown prophet that four warriors would appear wielding crystals of light, and that these warriors would drive back the terrors falling upon the world. The warriors of light did indeed arrive as foretold, led by a mighty warrior in red armor. By his side were a small time thief from the slums with a heart of gold, a red mage from the cornelia castle guard, and a white mage, priestess of the local church. United by a drive to save their home, these four warriors banded together and fought terrible monsters, which resulted in them being sent into the past to fight the corrupt knight Garland, who they had slain early on in their quest. His goal was to trap the world in an endless cycle, where he would send himself two thousand years into the past in the moment before his death, in order to accumulate the power required to kill the light warriors in the next coming, and rule over the entire world as a god of chaos. The light warriors put an end to his ambition, and put the entire world back on the proper track of time.

Upon their return, the heroic warrior turned knight who led them was offered the hand of princess Sarah of cornelia for his heroism. However, he wasn't the only light warrior who would go on to send his bloodline into the next generation, as the thief who became a full time ninja had fallen in love with the priestess who had been behind the team, supporting them and keeping them safe for the duration of their journey. The ninja took the white wizard's hand in marriage, and the two would go on to create Aria, who had a massive burden placed on her shoulders from the moment she was born. Being the daughter of two legendary light warriors, she was raised in the lap of luxury, and told almost every night about the heroism showed by both of her parents, and that she would one day shine as great as either of them. Naturally, after so many years of hearing this, the legends and the promises started to go to Aria's head a bit. When she turned eighteen, she set out from home to go about her own journey, and become the hero that she was expected to become.

Over her year away from home, she learned quite a bit about the world around her, as well as herself. She realized that following in the footsteps of her parents wouldn't be quite as easy as she had hoped, though she realized just how genetically blessed that she was by her parents. From her father, she inherited natural ability with a sword and black magic, while her mother blessed her with prominent abilities using white magic as well.  At the start of the story that's about to begin, she shows all the signs of being a mediocre end red mage, with a great deal of potential in all three categories that has so far gone untapped. However, she is left with considerable room to grow with as the story unfolds, where her feet will take her over her travels could be anybody's guess.

Personality: Extremely intelligent, often outwitting his opponents before battle between them even begins. However, due to several incidents that he was forced through during his childhood, he is no longer arrogant or boastful about his abilities. Over the years, his reduced reliance on other people has made him a bit of a loner, and he finds himself somewhat nostalgic for the younger days, when he had friends and allies by his side to provide assistance and moral support when he was in need of it. On the other hand, his isolation has made him even more powerful then he was in his youth, and he has truly grown worthy of the legendary title that was bestowed upon him.

History: Luneth was raised in the town of Ur by the elder there, and a woman named Nina, from a very young age. During one of his many adventures out of the town, he fell through a hole caused by an earthquake, and eventually stumbled upon a massive crystal, which spoke into his mind, and told him that he was to go on a great journey, but that he needed to gather the other destined warriors before they could begin their quest. As destiny's strings played their tune, all four warriors were brought together before the crystal once again, and they were told of a great darkness that was about to flood the land, and how they were the only ones who were capable of turning back the tides, and restoring balance to the world. Quickly, Luneth set out with the other chosen warriors to fulfill their destiny, where they uncovered incredible truths about not only their own origins, and how they actually came from the great big world beneath the floating island that they all called home, but about the nature of the world itself, and how this wasn't the first time that the balance between light and darkness was thrown into disarray. Using the powers of the previous heroes, the warriors of darkness, the four heroes of light were able to destroy the physical manifestation of the darkness itself, restoring balance to the world. However, for Luneth, the war was only just beginning.

Both he and the manifestation of darkness, known a the 'cloud' of darkness, were pulled into a terrible war between two gods in a distant dimension. Both were robbed of their memories, and lost in a seemingly endless battle. Due to the actions of the goddess of harmony in this time, cosmos, the cycle of war was eventually broken, and Luneth was set free, back to his home world in order to live a life of his own choosing, rather then playing out what destiny had chosen for him. The last time he was seen outside of a few villages on the floating island was some thirteen years ago, and in that time, Luneth became a mercenary for justice, using his mastery of both black magic and swordsmanship to right wrongs and save lives. However, even though many in the world owe him deep debts of gratitude, Luneth's heart became isolated, as none of his previous allies were around to provide him with the same kind of company that he had grown so deeply accustomed to. Arc, Refia, and Ingus were nowhere to be found during Luneth's travels, and none of his comrades from the war between cosmos and chaos were even in the same world as him, which left him feeling like a loner over the years, unable to grow close to other people during that time.

However, he may yet find out that it's never too late for a person to change.

Personality: A quiet observer, she practically never speaks unless someone directs a question at her or directly seeks her opinion. Despite her silence, she often formulates plans on her own if the situation calls for it and go against someone's orders to do what she feels will make her the most helpful. Since she grew up in the woods, she has a greater fondness for animals and nature than she does for people (though she still likes most of them), which may also explain why she hardly speaks to them.

Background/History: Simona's early life was not like those of many other Guado children. Very shortly after she was born, her mother having been lost in the birthing process, her father decided he was tired of the extremely religious environment in Guadosalam and all of the other Guados insisting he visit his departed wife at the Farplane instead of moving on. Not wanting to tear his newly born daughter away from their race entirely, he took her and moved to become a hermit in the Macalania Woods, traveling back to the Guado capital each day only to manage his shop. Of course, without anyone else to look after her, he had to take Simona with him to the shop each day, which allowed her to grow up learning the arts of mixing potions and remedies, as well as crafting weapons and armor for guards and travelers.

As her father grew older and less capable of making the long trek back to Guadosalam each day, Simona became more and more in charge of his shop until she was practically running it on her own. Eventually, she became even better than her father, creating some of the highest quality potions, weapons, and armor in the entire region, enough so that people would even feel safe crossing the Thunder Plains as long as they were outfitted with her equipment. A major change came to her life five years ago, though, with the beginning of the Eternal Calm. The Ronso, thirsty for revenge after the loss of many of their race to Seymour Guado, forced the Guado out of Guadosalam and into Macalania Woods. Though they were discomforted by the sudden change of circumstances and loss of serenity, Simona and her father took in many wayward Guados and did their best to take care of them, at least until they pushed the Leblanc Syndicate out of their home and returned to it a few years later.

Taking care of so many nearly hopeless refugees for so long brought about a change in Simona, however. She no longer felt content just journeying back and forth between the woods and the capital each and every day. She wished to experience more situations that would test and prove her skills as a chemist and a craftswoman. However, with not a sign of war or strife in Spira for the three years since the destruction of Vegnagun, it didn't look like she would ever experience that kind of challenge again. She was ready to resign herself to the dull reality of running her shop for the rest of her life until one day when something strange happened in Guadosalam...

(By the way, Demo, I wouldn't classify Tactics as "obscure," plus it was on the PSX before anything else, Verg. If anything, I'd say Mystic Quest or the Crystal Chronicles spin-off series would be more obscure.)

While identifying and responding to the feelings of others, Tifa does not express her internal feelings often, and when she does she often has trouble doing so. She's portrayed as a person who more often helps others first, then herself.

Background/History: Tifa was born in Nibelheim. She was out-going, lively and had a lot of friends there. Tifa's mother died when Tifa was eight years old, leaving her upset and confused. Tifa believed her mother had gone to Mt. Nibel, and that she could meet her again if she crossed the mountain. Tifa headed off to Mt. Nibel, and Cloud followed to keep her safe, but both fell from a rickety bridge. Tifa's Father found her severely injured, and blamed Cloud for leading her to Mt. Nibel. After Cloud left to join SOLDIER in order to impress Tifa.

Two years later as a tour guide she met Sephiroth and Zach. Bringing them to the reactor where Sephiroth goes berserk when he learns who "his mother" is, and upon his return to town and spending several days studying, is driven fully insane. On October 1st, he sets Nibelheim ablaze and razes the town, then sets off to the reactor. Tifa's father and others follow, but Sephiroth slays them.  Declaring her hatred of Sephiroth and Shinra, she rushes into the reactor and attacks Sephiroth, but he disarms her and cuts her down.

Tifa recovers from her wounds and joins AVALANCHE, an anti-Shinra resistance group led by Barret Wallace. She also becomes the owner and proprietor of the bar and restaurant 7th Heaven, which houses AVALANCHE's base in a secret basement.

After destroying the first couple of reactors the group notices there's a much bigger plot going on that eventually leads to Sephiroth and Jenova. So Avalanche travels around the world tracking Sephiroth, with Tifa supporting the party when she can.  After taking down Shrina and Sephiroth, Tifa has no where else to go and decides to head across seas to adventure other lands...Where she will end up, she isn't sure yet.

It had been a common belief amongst his original companions that the blast happy mage had no desire for anyone to see how attractive he was and didn't want to be bothered with pretty-boy jokes or hounded with annoying amounts of useless fan girls.

He is usually direct and to the point in his manners seeing little to sugar coast anything unless he wants something, particularly from a female then he might try laying on the charm.

Background/History; Nigel's exact origins are relatively unknown even to his original companions. He simply had shown up in Cornelia one day and formed a close if twisted friendship with his meat-shield...er, um...friend Fighter. They went on many misadventures together, meeting some interesting characters along the way; Thief - whose sly intellect was nearly a match for his own, Black Belt - though a master of the unarmed arts and sometimes wise wasn't really the brightest bulb in the bunch, then there was the annoying Red Mage - the jack of all trades magically and physically and yet the master of none. And last but certainly not least was Nigel's personal favorite - the delectable White Mage. Many were the times that Nigel tried to score with White Mage only to be repeatedly and comically rejected and fended off with her hammer.

Things became interesting when their groups was summoned by the King of Cornelia to rescue his kidnapped daughter, the Princess Sara and to fulfill the prophesy of the Warriors of Light. Though never official apart of the prophesy Black Mage lended his offensive abilities time and time again in the groups efforts to defeat Garland, saying something along the line that if anyone was going to magically take over the world it was going to be him and not some washed up, has been knight.

Eventually they were able to defeat Garland, and Chaos by extension - therefore returning their world to its proper order. Upon their return to Cornelia a great celebration was held in their honor and each were richly rewarded for deeds well done. For a time things clamed down and each of the warriors returned to their own lives but as it came close to Fighter's wedding to the Princess he had the brilliant idea of going on a short adventure with his friends as something they could do every year as a reunion of sorts. Gathering the others they head for Black Mage's tower. To say Nigel was surprised to see them would be an understatement but leap at the chance to do some adventuring to get away from tediousness his life had become, momentarily forgetting the dangers of having Fighter, now Knight in his Tower.

Once he packed he returned to the group only to fell victim to Knight's chronic curiosity and inability to not push buttons, especially if they were shiny and attached to strange devices of unknown origins. A portal was opened and sucked black mage in, who yelled and screamed curses and revenge at Knight the entire way until he vanishes and the portal closes behind him.

Now he is currently struck in a strange world with no idea on how to get back.

I am open to suggestions, Demon Wing - This is the rough draft of black mage not the final edit. I mentioned before hand the type of mage I was was going for and just because he doesn't exactly fit the continuity of your girls world doesn't mean BM couldn't have from an alternate reality of that some world.

However I did keep your girls background in mind;  the events of black Mage's disappearance happened before she was born and you never once mentioned a black mage you girl's background. And given black mage's luck when Fighter messes around in his tower I wouldn't have been surprised if he did fall into a temporal portal before falling through another one to Everstra. *lol*

Claudia wears a constricting yet flexible ribbed neck corset that covers from the top of the neck all the way down to the base which spreads out barely reaching her shoulders. She wears a white mock turtleneck underboob muscle T-shirt and has on a pair of purple mini-skirt whose slits are so wide on the sides that she appears to be wearing more of a loin cloth. Claudia wears white sports shoes with matching Hooters tube socks which are then worn over her purple cotton legwarmers which are stretched up and ride along her upper thighs. Claudia has gaiter bandages wrapped around her wrist half way up to her elbow and around the palm of her hand the way boxers do and wears dark purple sleeve gauntlets over it with a strap securing over the palms of her hands. Her forehead protector is much like Yuffie's except that instead of having the twin long spires protruding from the protector, they're just ribbon straps. Claudia wears a golden worm shaped like a ring on the base of her dick and a white cocksleeve which conforms to her foreskin but allowing her purple glans to be exposed.

Personality:

In some ways, she shares some similar personality attributes with Yuffie but she is not as immature like her or just as clumsy all the time. Claudia is also adamant in restoring her hometown's once glorious days and will too resort to stealing if necessary. However, the kinds of trouble she has is different than Yuffie's. Because of possessing both genitals, Claudia's sex drive is more than twice than those of single genders. When she's randy, Claudia will desperately find places to get off, or if an opportunity rises, she'll have sex with someone though she prefers to do it with anyone short of manly guys. However, her pheromones for whatever reasons, tend to attract monsters more often than she wants. Claudia doesn't tend to be cheery all the time and sometimes keeps to herself now and then mostly because of her training as a ninja. Yet she can sometimes be personable if she allows it.

Very flexible, but things like anal play is not compatible with me. I might go as far as pegging a trap but that's it. I won't involve things that belong in the toilet either, nor do gory things. Other cheesy fetish, or what I deem as so won't be allowed on my character either. I am willing to do people of all genders except those of manly guys. If for some reason my character has to fuck a manly guy, I won't allow my character to give blowjobs to guys, but it'd be okay if she got one from them. Monsters is a plus for me all sizes and shapes. Oviposition and impregnation, birthing. Stuff like that, particular when it involves penal rape and foreplay. Vore is limited in that I would want my character swallowed up or have her bottom half swallowed for the sake of having smaller creatures within taking advantage of her.

Background/History:

Yuffie was Claudia's childhood friend and grew up together. However Claudia remained at Wutai during the events of FF7 because she was insistent in training some more so that she too could best Yuffie.  Sometime after the events of Ff7, Claudia then went on to challenge her skills of the Five Gods at the pagoda shrine. However, her intentions were not to replace Godo as the caretaker of the shrine, but rather just prove herself of her own skills as a true ninja. When she passed the test that nearly killed her, she went out into the world and find whatever she could find to help restore the glory that once shined upon Wutai. During her own adventures in grouping up with some few travelers, Claudia's sex drive often got her party into trouble. Despite this small distraction, much of it worked against the monsters. While she was getting raped, her party would take advantage of this situation and slay the creatures. Of course, Claudia had the misfortune of being abandoned to the monsters and creatures instead.

I actually argued with Laughing Hyena about it for a bit and I am still not all that comfortable with the idea personally.  Even so, beyond that, his character without the .Hack stuff is quite good and well thought out.  For now though, I'll see how it plays out, and if it takes a turn we don't like, myself and Katra will try to figure out how to fix things as best we can.  She's my Co-GM, so if I'm not around feel free to talk to her.

Actually, his background says it's actually an alternate dimension, so they are real, but...I don't know. It still seems fairly silly and totally out-of-place for me. I'm not the GM, so I can't say he can't play it that way, but I just know it's going to be a distraction for me personally. Having a WoW character would have at least fit with the tone and genre.

I still don't like it. Alternate reality or not, the truth of the matter is now that Aria's parents, and as such her, and Luneth, as well as EVERY other player in the ENTIRE RP, aren't as 'real' as one character. Final Fantasy is a video game franchise, you can't say that it's actual reality in some 'alternate dimension' as a write off to justify it. What's to stop me from making a character that knows that he's nothing more then text on some website somewhere now?

This entire RP loses a lot of credibility, immersion, and common sense just because of that, credibility that it can never get back. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a whiny bitch for not letting this go, but I can't.

Laughing Hyena your character is great and well thought out but you need to seriously lose the .Hack influence as the game is strictly FF based and wouldn't be fair if we allowed this and not let others bring in other outside game influences.  If we can get past that little bump then your character would be perfect as I see alot of gaming potential with your boy there so please be fair to the other players here and make that small adjustment.

Personality: He comes across as an extremely nervous person and constantly looking for something tougher to hide behind. He would give a first impression that he is a complete coward. However he has a stronger sense of loyalty towards those whom he cares for and trusts and is capable of overcoming his fears. Worst of all he has a tenacity to be a know it all seemingly capable of knowing how things tend to happen. Whilst he has an absolute fascination for magic and also technology he enjoys company and is not the type to savor moving about on his own. Background/History: A completely novice summoner, Darius seems to have no past though he always comes across as unwilling to share it with anyone. He is trying to improve his skills as he goes about trying to be a problem solver for people at the moment with varying degrees of success. His past if anyone ever asked him was that he came from a city where magic users are feared and summoners more so by the common folk fueled by the nobility. When he realized he had the ability to use magic he ran away and went underground so he could develop his gifts unmolested. However he was soon surprised to know he could not cast magic of white variants but actually summon beings.

He became an adventurer to avoid staying in one place for too long being rightly paranoid about anyone learning his secret especially the Church of the Zodiac. Why the church hunts him with such vigor is unknown but he knows its bad news if he ever gets caught so he keeps quiet and silent as possible. How he came to this new world was an act of desperation. On his way towards fufilling a recent contract the Church of Zodiac found him once more. Through fear or stress he managed to summon the Steed of Lightning Ixion to defend himself as he made his escape towards the woods. Stumbling into an aged ruin the ancient magics that lied dormant within opened a path to this world. With the church still hot on his heels  he ran through. From here he had emerged into the wilds of Darkhome and back into assumed safety. Destiny catches up to him faster then the church does however.

Personality;  Despite the very hard and nightmare plagued beginning he had as a child, Randall Draconian is a good soul with a stout heart.  While usually silent and brooding by all appearances, it is rather he has to keep tight control of his emotions because if he feels too strongly such as anger for example, the dragon he keeps at bay might take control, making things....interesting.  However, he has not had a slip up for a very long time, and has been able to let his true self shine more and more as the years go by.

Ons/Offs;  (O/O page for the most part.)  When playing a guy, while I have no problems with gay people, I myself will not get anywhere near another guy in that regard at all.  Beyond that, scat, watersports, and so on are big no nos.

Background/History;  Randall Draconian was around long before Lightning and her allies wiped out the Fa'lcie in Cocoon for the evils committed by the so called god like beings that gave much and only asked blind obedience in return.  He had been a young boy living in the alleys and sewers of Cocoon's streets, having been abandoned as a child.  PSICOM forces eventually got ahold of him however and since he had no one that would miss him, took him to a secret lab that few people knew existed and began horrific experiments upon him.  Having managed to catch a very rare black dragon, the PSICOM soldiers, a splinter cell that worked outside the normal rules set up by the Sanctum and their many military branches, were trying to create a new breed of super soldier, using children as test subjects that belonged to no one and were easily taken off the streets without so much as anyone batting an eye.  The experiments turned into failures, but not before Randall became something new and ultimately deadly in the three years he had been trapped in a windowless cell with very little food or water to sustain his growing metabolic rate.  When the facility was shut down about that same time, Randall and the few surviving children that were left were dropped onto the merciless surface world of Gran Pulse and the lab destroyed and the staff publicly executed for their crimes.  Now, a hundred and eighty eight years later, Randall is a very powerful warrior that has mastered his dragon side to grand effect.

Now in Everesta when he accidentally stumbled through a rip in space and time during a mission on the surface, Randall has lived in far better peace than he had ever known for several months, his powers as a shapeshifting warrior and unstoppable force on the battlefield has aided him greatly in a far variety of situations.  He is a friend to Zoria and is in the know of many events that might concern those that are being called to his new homeland in the coming days of trial and tribulation.

Personality:  An easy going pain in the ass and cocky as all hell, Basically as long as the situation is not that big of a deal Richard will do it and earn himself a quick gil but as soon as someone make it personal or crosses Richard he will cast away all fear and put the situation down Hard may not be fast but it will be hard enough to make the person that caused it remember not to cross this man ever.

Ons/Offs:  On: Richard is very into the shy quiet people but is shy himself so he will almost never approach them unlessed pushed. His personality is that of a switch  in the fact he will be very submissive to a dom but at a certain point or when he is riled up and raring to go he becomes the Dom. Richard will at no times be intrested in another male (as long as he know it's a guy) and if he is and learns later it is a guy he will feel so self concious about the entire situation. on that same note Richard believes he should be the only sausage in a midnight wrestling match no matter how many people there are (I.E. He wants him and as many women that choose to be there)

Background/History: Born in Miyoshi at birth the child was offered up to the Leviathan as a sacrifice when they discover the Goddess of the Sea's Mark on the child. Enraged by this act the Goddess took the child and laid waste to the entire town with a Tsunami. As the child grew as so did the mark it eventually covered from one leg going up around his body and spiraled down his arm. While living with Leviathan she taught him the skills he would need to utilize her properly and trained him in the way of the Dragon Knight or more formally known as the Dragoon. As a team together the two were unstoppable by normal means while near any body of water. Richards’s reliance upon Levi (as he came to call her) was at first great but over the years he grew into his abilities becoming a man that could be relied upon to handle most situations. At age 13 Richard made it to main land and started his way across the continent so see what adventures laid in store for him. 4 years down the road and many battles later while traveling through the desert Richard ran across an interesting sight, 3 Sandworms bearing down on a lone Cactuar. While the sight looked funny Richard couldn't stand by and watch the little guy take the three on by himself so he decided to jump in Literally and Impel one from above Stapling it to the ground before launching himself off the great beat grabbing the Cactuar and making his way towards a canyon. As the two ran the Cactuar made himself comfortable on the fleeing human and used him as a mobile weapons platform to fire off burst of needles at the two pursuing sandworms. It wasn’t long before the two allies were pinned down in the canyon by the now needle impaled worms before Richard smirked and used his dragoon ability Jump to drop the Cactuar off at the top of the ledge and come down with a rain of 10,000 needles following behind him. Needless to say the two sandworms did not make it out alive and Richard found a new friend and companion he could relate to (granted future stores showed Cactuar getting into more trouble when he tried to emulate Richard). On his Eighteenth Birthday Levi gave Richard a spear she forged for him herself called the Raging Sea Dragon so deeply moved by the generous gift he broke down crying in happiness (which ruined all credibility he had built up as a tough man.) Richard is now just twenty-one and has been traveling around with no real direction talking to a beautiful lady in a sea blue dress and a green Cactuar that is riding on his shoulders.

Personality: While rather quiet, his gaze and expression are warm and calm, making him very approachable. He is not fond of long talks but he will chat when in a good mood, which is when his beloved machines are working well. Just don't bother him while he's working, and he won't growl at you.

Background/History:  The son of a Ronso farmer, Delegran was destined for an uncommon life from the very beginning. Living in the outskirts of Kilika village, he learned early the value of hard, honest work.At the age of 10, he caught sight of a cargo airship. H was fascinated with the thing, so much, that he disobeyed his father to go look at it as it landed just outside Kilika. He wanted to know everything about it. How it flied, how did it move across the heavens, how namy people it took to run it.

At age 12, he hired himself as a deckhand on one such airship, eventually leaving when the ship came to the mainland, at Bevelle. There, with what little money he had scraped together, he paid for an apprenticeship with one of the local engineers, absorbing all machina knowledge like a sponge. At age 15, In one excursion to find ancient machina, he stumbled upon what would be the find of a lifetime. The vehicle was definitely land-based, but it was huge. As he began the slow process of rebuilding it, Delegran came to call it, 'Zareikhata', loosely translated from Ronsospeak, as 'Road-Train'.

Many other enginners were doubtful the monstruous thing would ever move, that it would take massive amounts of energy just to get it rolling. As such most discounted the mega-vehicle as a curiosity, rather than anything useful. But Delegran would not be discouraged. He worked for nearly three years to get the hulking vehicle standing on its own wheels, all twenty of them.

But once again, fortune would smile on the young Ronso. While exploring the cave where the Road Train rested, he found a small, but well-hidden chamber, that had been furbished as living quarters, as well as a small lab. There he found full blueprints for the Train, as well as for multi-use cars. Among these things he also found a small coffer, which opened easily enough, revealing a rarity of rarities in Spira: a large Magicite crystal. After much study of the blueprints, he managed to reactivate the train's power supply, by using the crystal. After centuries of slumber, the Road Train was online.

Delegran dived into driving the massive vehicle right away, quickly securing transport contracts with villages that were familiar with machina. Soon, he was able to commission several additional cargo cars, which multiplied his revenue. But the Zareikhata was a hungry beast, requiring hundreds of gallons of pure water to run properly, as well as much in the way of maintenance. This pushed Del into even more risky venues, such as the ferrying of heavy or dangerous cargo. And in the case of his latest contract, a very much wanted person.

Zeluna, was her name. A sorceress, she said she was. Her lot was an unenviable one: she was being hunted down by New Yevon elements, which wanted her dead for some reason she refused to explain. The coin was good: Seven thousand gil now, 19 thousand one they got to New Zanarkand. There, she said, the New Yevon could not touch her. Sounded easy enough, since the New Yevon people had nothing fast enough to catch Zareikhata. Or so Delegran thought.

The Al Bhed mercenaries, hired by New Yevon, attacked right in the middle of the Mi'Hen Highroad. Such blatancy meant they had been very well paid. it also meant they would likely not give up. Delegran had started the journey with three cars behind Zareikhata. By the time they were nearing the end of the road, they were down to the engine alone, and most of his crew had fallen, except for his mechanic: a plucky slip of a boy, Pripelleni was his name. Kept those Al Bhed vultures out of the engine by virtue of rifle and pistol.

That is, until they hit that strange light in the middle of the road. When they woke, they found themselves in a sea of sand, and terrible heat. Opening up all water reserves, the Zareikhata limped its way about, until a fort was sighted. The locals were very wary of them, thinking them spies, but the strange machina was alien looking enough that it was not considered an enemy. After a few tense days, they were allowed to continue on to Darkhome. That was two years ago. Delegran has now established himself as a businessman once again.

Ons/Offs: On's and Off's of a Ninja!

Background/History:
After the events of FFVIII Squal and his friends began plans to construct a main base of operations for the SEED organization. A flying fortress like Balamb Garden but much larger and with a name to match, Radiant Garden. SEED also began to grow as more and more people became interested in joining up, to the point that a separate organization within SEED was created for weapon specialists, including Gun Blade, Glove, Cross Bow, Whip, ect. Before long Radiant Garden became a utopia of it's own until it's downfall.

Squall was once again brought back into a mild depression having failed the people he cared about. After being lost with some new friends in Traverse Town he eventually made his way back to Radiant Garden and began rebuilding, With the help of these new friends they eventually eradicated the Heartless and Nobodies from the Garden and got it back up and running. Once everyone was safe, Squall boarded the Ragnarok to search for a passenger that had been lost in the destruction of the garden. Squall managed to make it to Everesta before the fuel was completely spent, and now he searches for his lost love and more fuel if he might need to leave.

I love the guy you chose Ninja, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be active and actually post.  Several people have posted interest, even got their people on the character thread and got an OOC post up, yet nothing beyond that.  If you join, PLEASE be as active as you can.  For now, while I feel a bit leary about mixing KH with FF, I'll let it slide since they did mix them up a bit.  Have at it!

That isn't KH, that's the actual Dissidia artwork. That's Squall as you know him, not KH squall.

Yeah, the storyline is the problem, but again since Square Enix did do those two games of KH so far for the consoles, it's ok.  Besides, I liked Squall from KH but also from the original game lol.  Anyway, it wasn't the appearance as I said, and besides, I have never played Dissadia unfortunately.  Want to though.

Personality;  Vincent's personality is a lot like Auron from Final Fantasy X, he is the type of person that only speaks when there is something worth talking about. He is more of the strong silent type but a good ally when it comes to battling.

Background/History;  Vincent is not from the Final Fantasy universe in general he is from an alternate dimension where he is royalty and a hunter of sorts as well as a blacksmith. He enjoys creating new items and instrument of pain, putting them into his arsenal and learning as much as he can. He ended up here in Balamb Gardens around the time when he was fighting the main demon of his land. The demon through him into a portal and he ended up laying on the beach wearing his long black dragon skin duster and his clay-more sword in his hands.

The only thing he knew was that he wasn't no longer in Aszura no more, leaving his families kingdom defenseless until he could find a way back. Being Immortal was a lonely life for Vincent watching close friends died around him, his brother from his world was evil and demanded for more bloodshed feeling it inside of his body as his parents were slaughtered. Vincent tried to ease his mind by studying the arts of magic, looking over protection spells and black magic spells certain things he could possibly use if he was ever thrown back into a really challenging battle. But he spent most of his days working in a Blacksmith's shop making new and improved weaponry.

Where he was at they had the raw materials that were used to make a proper blade more so than where he is from. If Vincent could have it his way he would probably stay here until his time was up enjoying every bit of his days here. Training and Studying these spells it was just something about this place and the races that inhabit this place that he began to call home. His profession was that of a blacksmith, but by night or on his free time he was a hunter he loved the thrill of going after beasts that he was not use to seeing. It was all fun until he nearly lost his head attacking a ravenous beast but thanks to his small healing factor that little gift that Death gave him when he won the battle. Vincent was healed and able to take out the beast and now these days he travels in between both regions selling his wares and working at smithy's to get by.

You know, I forgot last night but we have one Immortal already Freak buddy, and because of this I've been getting complaints because of this one.  I can understand being rusty and all, but I ask that you try to come up with something a bit more if at all possible buddy.  Besides that, grammar is a bit of an issue anyway from what I can see.  While that won't get you denied I still have to take it into consideration.
