The software does not know whether you want to show a link to the image, or the image itself, so it chooses the "safest" option.

In order to tell it to display an image, you can wrap it in [img] and [/img] tags, like this:

A nifty feature of the tag is that you can resize the image by including a width= or a height= option.  for example:

The shop's feels deserted, so I'll stir things up a bit...

Earlier this month, imgur changed their rules to forbid "nudity or sexually explicit content" on private posts, and will be employing automated detection tools to detect and remove such content.  Given the nature of E, it is safe to assume that many of the images that are par for the course here will be removed.

I did some investigation and compiled a list of image hostsing alternatives that are:
• Free to use (some have paid options or patreon, most allow anonymous upload)
• Allow hotlinking
• Allow NSFW content (as long as it's not illegal)
• Do not expire uploaded content (unless explicitly specified by the uploader)
• Allow grouping images into folders/albums/galleries/posts
• Do not have overly obtrusive ads/popups (tested by running without an adblock)

My current list is:
https://imgchest.com/ -- post-based, quite similar to Imgur
https://im.ge/ -- powered by the Chevereto software, easy to use, image ordering in album determined by viewer (default by most recent)
https://lensdump.com/ -- similar to the above, more popular, requires a (free) account to upload
https://imgbb.com/ -- similar to the above, very popular, freemium (anonymous access and free accounts have some limitations)
https://postimages.org/ -- freemium, a bit less simple to use, albums can be sorted by upload time or filename, max size 1280px
https://catbox.moe/ -- supports almost all types of files, no previews of GIF and WEBP in albums

Pixie dust ?  Here you go. Now this is the pure stuff so no snorting it. The last person who did well..... their rear glowed for days. It was so bright astronauts saw it from outer space and that is why they aren’t allowed to say “rear entry” anymore.

… I open the jar and take a large pinch between thumb and forefinger … look in the direction of the voice … throw the pinch vigorously into the air in that general direction …

  “Come out, come out, artificial or real. Reveal thyself!”

… fasten the lid back on the jar as I watch where the dust is slowly settling toward the floor … if this stuff works, definetly want to save it for future use against difficult problems …

Catherine explains glitter.  It is not regal to be concerned.  Thus, I am not concerned – although if rear entry were more than forbidden to be said, like actually forbidden, I would intervene. 

My delicate nature is reassured with Jaclyn’s concern over my sniffer and Al’s gently helping with my nose. 

It is hard to believe that he focused on my nose!  Go figure!  Unpredictable predictable Al.

Now the challenge here is to make sure Catherine feels at home.  I wonder if more glitter would do the trick, wondering whether she can read a Crowned Witch’s thoughts.
