Inspiration: Kobayashi Chi no Maid Dragon

Welcome to “My Pet Dog is a Dragon.” Of course, the name of the RP doesn’t really encapsulate the plot of this game, so be sure to read along. The story in a nutshell is about the humans of Earth caught in a battle from another dimension between a kingdom of dragons and a kingdom of unearthly humans known as the Dragon Slayers. Our story began when an epic war between the two kingdoms created a rift that sent the dragon prince tumbling into an alternate dimension that dimension being our present day Earth. While injured and stranded in an entirely foreign realm, the dragon prince is rescued by a curious college student and taken back to her apartment for rest and recuperation. She wasn’t sure what sort of animal she had rescued and becomes alarmed when she realizes that the creature she rescued is a dragon! The subjects and relatives of the prince can't just leave him lost and use magic to search for him. Tumbling into the Earth realm, while the dragons' mission was to return the heir home, they wind up falling in love with Earth and find themselves staying longer than intended.

Hierarchy and Stance: The dragons of the kingdom simply known as The Dragon Kingdom serve only one king and queen. Their home realm is known as Terra, and is the planet where the dragons forever battle the humans for survival. Things didn’t have to be this way, however, with the humans expanding and devouring all the planet’s resources, they are determined to wipe out the biggest pests on the planet: the dragons. The dragons have since gathered together into a kingdom to provide sanctuary to their shrinking kind and fight off the humans as an allied unit. What the humans don’t realize is that the dragons are responsible for facilitating the planet’s ecosystem. Every dragon is born with an element, and that element grants them governance of their role in the world’s order. There are dragons who take care of nature, keep the oceans clean, the air pure, and the fauna safe. While there are some human conservatives allied with the dragon kingdom, they are considered traitors to the Dragon Slayer kingdom.

Here you will find a list of dragons. I encourage you do some research on the dragon you choose and then create your CS. You can reserve the dragon for up to 7 days. If you do not have a CS submitted by the 8th day, then you will lose your reservation. You do not have to model your CS exactly like the dragon of legend/folklore. It just has to be inspired by it. Also, be sure to clearly define your dragon’s element. Note: Black Dragons are not playable. They are enemies to both the Dragon and Dragon Slayer kingdoms. Unfortunately, the Dragon Slayer Kingdom makes the Dragon Kingdom responsible for their existence since they’re all dragons. The Black Dragons, however, are not a creature born naturally in Terra. They chaotically sprout from Terra creating fissures and trenches, and when they emerge, they must be exterminated immediately. Dragons in human form are physically and mentally stronger than Earth humans, basically on the level of superhuman. They have an enormous appetite and thus can be a pain in the butt to house, so you better make sure they get a job to pay for their bellies. Their dragon forms can be as large as a kaiju (think Godzilla) or as small as a dog. There are only 9 open roles out of 10 so choose wisely. [1/10] If we get at least 3-4 dragons and 3-4 humans, then the game will start.

Hierarchy and Stance: The Dragon Slayer kingdom is ruled by one powerful king who has a single daughter named Princess Kazmira (NPC). A black dragon murdered the queen, and ever since the Dragon Slayer King has been on a vengeful conquest to destroy all dragons. He has employed powerful humans in his army, and these humans are different from the ones found on earth. They are capable of legendary feats.

The below list are examples of human classes found in Terra. These are not playable by writers. They are instead enemy NPCs.

Our second main cast of characters are humans who live on Earth. The main setting for this game will take place in Los Angeles, California. What these characters all have in common is that they are all students at a fictional university called Kramer University named after the man who founded it and home of the Kramer Kangaroos. These characters all reside in a university apartment complex, and will unexpectedly find themselves roomed with a dragon.

Rules
1. Participate. Come to this game with a creative mind and a desire to role play. If you know you do not have time or room for another game, then do not commit to it. By joining this game, you are saying you are willing to interact and write with other writers. If you are not making an active attempt to write with others and keep writing with yourself, then you will be asked to leave the game.
2. Activity. This game has the potential to be a large game, but I am not expecting people to post or feel like they must post every day. However, you are required at minimum to post at least once per week. Not once every two weeks. Once per week. See this as an assessment tool for yourself. If you cannot post at least once per week, then that tells you that you have too much going on and should not get involved.
3. Not a Smut Game. This game is adult. This game may have sexual situations. However, the storyline and character development plays a bigger role in this game, then how many dragons or persons your character can screw, and then leave. This is not that kind of game. So if you didn’t bring a story to this game, then look elsewhere.
4. No Futa/Minor Characters. No futa is self-explanatory. As for no minor characters, you may find an anime pic that you like, but the girl or guy looks underage. Do not use it. Just no. Do not be the one caught making that mistake.
5. No Drama. Do not argue with the GM. Do not argue with other players. If you have an issue with another player, you can bring it to the GM in PM or if it is greater than that, take it to the moderators. Just do not suffer through a problem. I did not create this game for people to silently suffer. If someone is outright being a jerk, then I have no problem with asking them to leave depending on the gravity of the situation.
6. Communicate! If you plan to go on vacation, leave, need some time off to focus on college, etc. Let the GM know so that they can accommodate. Communicate! We can easily pause a scene until you have time to return.
7. Be Respectful and Have Fun. As a GM, my role is simply to do my best to keep the game alive. I cannot force you to interact with others. I cannot make your character more interesting. All I can do is manage the game’s progression and recycle inactive players and roles. That is it. It is up to you to bring something fun and interesting to this game.

Hey guys, thanks for the interest. I'll be working on a CS soon myself. I am just currently flying around to my permanent residence for the next two months.

All right; so here is an important update to the CS. I am getting rid of the "Element" business because some dragons either don't align with a specific element or have nothing to do with them. Elements will be replaced with Powers, and you can give the dragon whatever power associated with their lore. However, the limit will be four powers. Not two powers in one power. I recommend writing the power broad enough to naturally encompass more than one rather than writing it as two powers in one.

For extracurricular she played soccer and in track she did the 110 meter high hurdles, 300 meter intermediate hurdles, and 200 meter dash. Though despite all of this seemingly perfect school life with her being one of the top people of her class with a bright future, no one would ever think that she was homeless until recently where her soccer coach found her sleeping under a bridge her Sophmore year.

1) Do dragons carry weapons, armor and other things sized for their full draconic form? Assuming, of course, that the Dragon Kingdom has any sort of crafting or material production capabilities.

2) Is this a case like in Maid Dragon where a dragon's equipment in human form is essentially disguised parts of their body (scales being clothes, swords being claws)?

3) Can dragons do 'partial transformations' ala Maid Dragon (i.e. turning forelimbs draconic to use their claws and so on)?

4) Can dragons cast spells and perform other acts of arcane power, or are they limited to a specific scope of power?

They are limited to the powers you give them. As long as you stay within the Rule of Cool, then I won't have any issues. If you try to make your dragon a god, then I am going to throw down power limitations and restrictions.
