Crash Landings (Open game)

I spend too much of my time thinking up naughty scene ideas. So here is another one!

I am going to steal the star wars level of space technology here, so stuff like hyperdrives, blasters, bounty hunters, droids, and so on. No Jedis. The basic story is that a country hunter ship filled with the crew (you guys), crash land on a undiscovered planet after someone missed a decimal point in the hyperdrive jump. Your ship lands more or less in one piece, but the hyperdrive is out and will take forever to for the droids to repair, which means wandering out onto the land to find food and provisions.

At this point you find the civilizations on this planet are in various animal-kinds. With the plains being controlled by zeebramorphs and the forest being in control of the tigers and so forth. With only one translator droid establishing communications and exploiting their primitive cultures for your own benefit will take a while.

So I would need players to play the crashed bounty hunter crew, along with others that want to play the natives if they want too. Also there is going to be a fun surprise for the newcomers to deal with, and give you something to shoot at.

This new roleplay idea seems familiar, but I wonder why Nicci...  :P

I still think this is an interesting idea but... maybe you should be more specific about the story you want your players to live.
I fear that without a clear goal to pursue (or several) we will witness the disappearance of the participants once again.

Oh dear, I re read your original post and indeed I missed a line. I humbly apologize.
So how many bunty hunters do you want this time and do you want them to be equiped with a unique skill set ? like one medic, one heavy weapon specialist, one tech, etc... ?

Background: Jason won his ship, The Loaded Dice in a game of cards. He was cheating, but then again, so was the man who he won it off of. He juts cheated better. Jason immediately got a crew together and set off to explore the galaxy and make as much money as he could. After  few odd jobs here and there, it looked like it was going to be a very profitable ship. He had a good crew, and enough contacts to ensure he made money whenever he landed.

And then, everything went wrong and thanks to a single decimal being off, he crashed. Well, not everything went wrong. The ship is still in one piece, and the engine can be fixed. It'll just take a while. And the communications are more or less shot, since he hasn't been able to get a message off-world. So he was stuck here, maybe for months, and all his lucrative contracts would have moved on.

But he had to make the best of this situation, so he is determined to wait it out as best he can. Maybe explore this planet they crashed on. There might be something valuable he could take and sell off-world to make a profit out of this disaster.

Looks: Long Reddish, Brown hair, and blue/green eyes.  Does not bother with clothing except for her skinsuit and a casual duster longcoat when going outside. 

Personality: Over-energetic and a complete gun-nut. She finds it defficult to sit still or being locked down during space voyages. She usually travels in hyper sleep to overcome this problem. Hey hyper mode of operandi is most likely generated by the drugs she is constantly taking after the accident.

Likes: Good food, hot showers, cute girls, cute guys, his next paycheck, big guns.

Dislikes: Running out of money, running out of meds

Background: Riana doesn't talk much of what happened before the accident, but what is known is that she survived a massive explosion, barely. Doctors had to work hard to get her back, having replaced much of her with cybernetics. The most drastic surgery was replacing most of her burned skin with a specially designed skinsuit. In effect it functions just like a humans, and is loaded with millions of sensors, replacing the nerve endings of her old skin. She can alter the sensitivity of this suit to whatever her needs, from dull (feeling nothing) to hyper sensitive (extreme fun in the bedroom). As a side effect of all this surgery, she has gotten an addiction to various meds to keep her alive.

Skills: Handling big guns, driving men crazy, ditto on the ladies, handling big warmachines

Things they find difficult: Sitting still, boredom

Looks: Short brown hair with green eyes. He will wear his Doctor coat inside the ship and a combat medic armor outside.
Personality: John knows how to stay calm under pressure, he is a scientific guy and believes that there is always a rational explanation behind something that seems super natural.
He hates violence and takes his Hippocratic oath very seriously even if the patient is an enemy.

Knows how to use a blaster pistol but that's it.

Background: He accepted the offer of Captain Argo just to be able to explore the galaxy while being useful since bounty hunters tend to catch wounds.
