Now What? (M for F)

A couple, together for years, has things end abruptly when the husband is killed in a violent car wreck. His widow had vowed to him after death that he would be the only man she truly loved. If only those words were true. It takes her only a few months of mourning before she finds a new man to fill the void in her life.

And then things start spiraling out of control...

It started with innocent knocks or footsteps in the house they share. The sounds were always dismissed as the wind or the old house settling. Soon, the innocent sounds give way to physical touches and the wafting scent of her old lover's cologne. His jealousy and anger have gradually allowed him to manifest himself and jeopardize her new relationship. Eventually, he builds enough energy to make his physical form show up before her. A being she can see and touch, but one who can only stay periodically before disappearing to build up enough energy to manifest once more.

So what happens when a woman is torn between her current love and the man who once owned her heart?

This can play out in tons of different ways. I plan on playing both the new lover and the dead one. The dead lover can be extremely vengeful, manifesting himself when the other two are intimate. Perhaps his jealousy spurs him to torment the woman. Or he can merely just want to win her back with subtle affection. The direction it goes is totally up for discussion.
