Blargh. Can’t sleep, woke up to the sound of gunshots coming from the park by my house. Regular occurrence – just can’t get use to it.

Gunshots close to your house... not a pleasent way to be awakened. How many hours left until you got to be of?

Roughly 4. I get up at 6; shower then head to the college. I'm the type of person though, that once I’m woken I can’t get back to sleep.

Usually the sound of gunshots does bother me; but lately they’ve been getting closer, and closer to home. It’s a tad nerve wracking.

I also used to be the type who woke and then couldn't sleep afterwards, now, when I do sleep, nothing will wake me......

Ooo! London! I’ve always wanted to visit and almost had my chance on the way back from visiting the family in Italy. We were supposed to stop there and grab another flight – but instead we got sent to Germany and home from there.

Moved from my home in county Durham (north east of england) to unniversity in London, lived and worked there for quite a long time, then moved back to the mid east coast and am in Norfolk now.

Insomnia sucks. Just a few weeks ago I went 48 hours without sleep, I was so fricking tired but I just couldn't sleep! Then I had an oral exam. Hehe, it was probably pretty funny to watch, I hardly knew my name.

I remember doing that once when I had an in class essay the next day. I Accidentally typed “Cock slide” instead of “Sock slide”. You try explaining that one to the teacher.

I can’t remember. It was something about childhood memories. I think I was writing about the time my nephew and I broke the screen door and tried to hide it in the bathroom (we're only three years apart).

Considering the teacher was one of those overly ‘religious’ ones. It was kind of hard. Not to mention I was still in a state of zombie ness.  Needless to say it was easier to explain the typo then it was to explain to my boss how my mom hit me with Salami.

**Sneaks up behind mom in the kitchen to scare her.**
Me: A b-!!!
Mom: *Spins around in surprise and thwacks me with a long piece of salami she had been unwrapping.*
Me: ACK. GOD LORD MY EYES *At this point I’m cowering and in the fetal position.*

***Next day at work.***
Friend: Talk about a shiner, what happened to you.
Me: *Bad mood.* Got smacked with a piece of meat.
Friend:…Huh?
Me: Freaking hard piece of Salami.
