Non-canon Star Trek game - interest check

There is one thing that I want to suggest for the ship.

One thing that I often notice in science fiction stuff like Star Trek is that the sickbay will invariably end up having problems, where something needs to be quarantined and contained.  That never goes right, and it ends up getting on the ship.

Would it be possible to have the sickbay set up as one big airlock, possibly with multiple sickbays across the ship so that one can be jettisoned if such an event actually does happen?

I read up on the Akira class star ships, given one of my previous suggestions about an air craft carrier type ship. This would be my preference.

Appearance: Azadia is an extremely attractive woman of a tall (5'8") and athletic build.  Her warm, compassionate, blue-grey eyes are inviting and often her most complemented feature.  Dark sandy brown hair frames her face,is  often tucked behind her ears, and wrapped neatly into a bun at the nape of her neck.  Dimples form upon her cheeks when she smiles and her voice has a gentle, soothing tone that is most beneficial in her line of work.  When not in the blue Starfleet medical uniform, Azadia prefers loose, comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict her movement.

Background: Born on Trill, Azadia always showed a compassionate, kind nature that often led her to go out of her way to help people and animals.  She is the youngest daughter to an older couple and enjoyed a fairly carefree childhood.  At a young age she began to show interest in holistic healing.  From that interest quickly followed a deeper fascination with medicine. 

She received a standard education for her species and upon graduation, promptly applied and was accepted into Starfleet.  She attended the Starfleet Medical Academy.  There Azadia took advantage of every opportunity she had, and enrolled in engineering extension courses to supplement her medical training.  Ultimately, Azadia graduated as co-valedictorian of her class, a burr that still smarts. 

Since her graduation from Star Fleet, Azadia has served on four different vessels, a research facility and a space station.

they effectively look human other than some texture to their skin tone about parts that can easily be covered by
hair. So its is pretty open for you

If you have a picture that you love that doesn't have spots, you might be able to get someone talented in Photoshop or other programs to add them on.  I know a thing or two about picture editing, although I'd be far from the best choice for it.

That's what Red actually suggested as well, Andy.  I don't know my way around Photoshop personally, but I have found a few pictures that would work if someone didn't mind trying.  I can also find a picture like Kate suggested where the hair covers up the neck and side of the face.

In TNG doesn't Data and Jordy (sp?) typical take the pilot seats, and aren't they technically "Science" officers?  What I'm getting at is couldn't you have some of the PCs fill those positions unless they're off the bridge for a reason?

your right, it probably is a good idea to have someone stearing the thing during sensitive times.

but they dont have to always be there, i think that several would know how
(ie dont have to a a super specialist to be able to get the thing to move)
