Reboot a dead rp but gm AWOL

Someone had an idea that I loved, SEVERAL months ago. The post was in late July. The person who posted it hasn't been on in almost two months. I know most places have it where you message the person asking for permission to reboot the idea...but you can see how that might be harder...

What do I do??
