They arrived and stood on the outskirts of town. Harrison could get used to this, it wasn't much different than where he was from himself. He turned to face Bridget, expected to see her beautiful and happy features but what he saw was not a happy young later but a fearful, frightened young girl.

Wrapping his arms around his love and pulling her close he began to reassure her that it was okay. "If you want to go home, I will take you home." He began to tell her. This was a bad idea. He held her close and they found their way to the nearest pub to sit down. He sat her down and they stayed silent for a few moment. Neither dared to speak... Until the doors of the bar crashed open.

OOC: I'd like to introduce a proposition for you real quick if you don't mind.

Skyro

Kandy

OOC: I'd like to introduce a new main character or two. One that will probably used a lot more than any random character. As such I thought he/she should be assigned to one of such as Bridget is mine and Harrison is yours. make sense?

Skyro

OOC: I'm on with the new character... but you mean like a third person, or we take a new character each?

Kandy

No, it'll still just be you and me playing but we'd both have two characters now instead of just one each. I only have one in mind for right now that you could play but we can add another one later for myself when there is a need for one.

OOC: Here I'll introduce him. It shouldn't be hard picking out which one he is lol.
BIC: Bridget nearly jumped out of her skin when the bragade of knights burst in. They were men, unlike the men in the street, who Bridget knew well. Sir Theodore, her father's right hand man and most trusted of knights, was in the lead. Followed by Sir Edward and Sir Aidan, a young boy who had just recently been promoted from the rank of squire after the recent battle with a warring kingdom.

Bridget had known Sir Theodore since she was just a baby. He was older in his late thirties and a very close friend of her father's. Bridget was quite fond of the knight as well. he had always treated her with kindness and respect, and had been a good mentor through out her adolecent years.

However, Unbeknownst to young Bridget, Sir Theodore had also grown a little too fond of the young and beautiful princess. Several weeks ago the knight had gone before the king seeking Bridget's hand in mariage and, with out asking or consolting her, Bridget's wedding date had been set. Of course Bridget had no idea about any of this.

"Sir Theodore!?" Bridget gasped in disbelief and shock when the familar man came rushing into the bar.

When Harrison heard the crash, he immediately jumped to his feet to find the source of all the noise. They they stood, each plated in armour covered in the crest of the town they had fled. A rush of panic came to Harrison and hit him like a train. He was going to lose her.

The guards searched around the room, quickly surveying the surroundings. Bridget looks quite different from the days where she wore long dresses and many jewels but the guards quickly spotted her... and who she was with. Harrison gulped.

-- Theodore saw her and a smile crossed his lips. He wanted nothing more than her, oh the things he would do to her when he had her hand in marriage.

He walked up to her.. and that man that was with her and stood tall above them. "Time to go home." He paused, looked at Harrison, "Sweetie."

"S-sir Theodore." Bridget stumbled still a little shocked. "How? How did you find me?" She asked taking a step closer to Harrison and fitting her hand into his. She squeezed his hand letting him know how scared she was, and not just for herself.

Meanwhile Aidan was looking around the shabby little pub a bit nervously. Everyone was staring at the scene the knights had caused and many were mumbling in irritants to each other. One man looked ready to throw Bridget to the dogs since she seemed to be the cause of the disturbance.

Edward stood beside Theodore strong and proud. He was a bit taller than Theodore and a lot meaner looking. He eyed Harrison suspiciously and a flash of recognition crossed his features. He knew Harrison. Edward had been the one to escort the boy out when the King found his daughter with him. Seethed in anger Edward waited for a command from Theodore. It wouldn't take more than a few seconds to draw his sword and he'd be wiping Harrison's blood from his blade with pride. To kill the traitor who kidnapped the princess would be a great honor.

As Bridget reached out and took Harrison's hand, he turned to look at her. Fear was in her eyes, fear shook his entire body.

He looked back at Theodore, "Good Sir, P.." He stuttered and looked at his feet, "Please, I love her so." He looked back at Theodore again, muster up the most pleading and sincere look upon his face possible, and bowed his head slightly. "And she loves me." He closed his eyes, knowing it was useless.

-- Theodore looked at the helpless man stutter, he probably did love her, but as far as Theodore was concerned, Bridget's hand (and the rest of her body) belonged to him. And he wasn't about to let her go.

"She is mine actually," he turned to Bridget, "Your father has gifted you to me." He snarled at the Harrison. "And I gift to you, a clean death." He gestured to Edward and then to Harrison. Have him disposed of.

Edward smirked and unsheathed his long sword.

"No!" Bridget cried her heart pounding in her chest and panic making her feel faint.

With the tip of his blade under harrison's chin Edward lifted the man's head, exposing his neck. He met Harrioson's fear stricken eyes with a steely look of hatred.

"Theodore please! don't-" before her eyes Edward drew his sword back and prepared to strike Harrison down in one blow. "No!" Bridget screamed. She lunged at Sir Theodore doing the first thing that came to mind, the one thing that would save her love's life. She threw her arms around the knight's neck and planted her full lips onto his passionately.

Edward froze mid-swing and stared at the Princess while Bridget moved her mouth with Sir Theodore's slowly and purposefully.

Kissing a man who was no Harrison made Bridget's stomach tie up in knots making her sick. But she swallowed the bile that rose in her throat and smiled alluringly at Theodore when she pulled away.

"Don't kill him just yet my love. Take him to my father, let him decide what to do with the peasant. And you will be rewarded highly." She whispered suggestively.

Skyro

Harrison didn't know how to react. Bridget kissing a man he depised was disgusting him. But she had saved his life. He stayed silent and stared at the Knight, awating his response. He could hardly even blink, in fear his life would end and never again would he see Bridget.

-- Theodore was surprised but instantly, his outlook changed. "As you wish" he said quietly, forcing Bridget to kiss him again and holding her close and wouldn't allow to go. "Edward, lower your blade."

He didn't really want to, but he felt it was best, if he wouldn't to marry her without any issues. He snarled at Harrison and then gestured for two other guards to escort him, they would leave in carriage and would be back in the town by dawn the next morning. "Allow us to leave," he force yet another kiss, "with my bride and this..." he paused, "peasent," he snarled.

Every time Theodore kissed her Bridget had to force down a gag. But she didn't resist and she tried to kiss him back. Shame weighed heavily on her heart as she did so and she couldn't even bring herself to look at Harrison. She kept her eyes down and clung to Theodore trying to act as believable as possible.

Edward grumbled under his breath and sheathed his sword. Shooting a murderous glare at Harrison he shoved the prisoner forward to follow Bridget and Theodore. Out at the carriage Edward shackled Harrison's wrists and put him on a horse with Aidan before he mounted his own horse that would follow the carriage.

After Bridget and Theodore were settled inside the carriage Aidan rode his horse up to the window.

"I'm glad you are well Princess." he said with a kind smile. "The king will be glad to see you." he added.

Bridget gave Aidan a tiny smile and nodded, avoiding Harrison's eyes.

Harrison felt his stomach turn as he saw Bridget kiss Theodore again, each time he just wanted to reach up and break the knight's nose. Each time, he resisted the tempation. It was best that he did nothing. He looked at Edward and narrowed his eyes as if to say better luck next time. He was now say upon a horse in shackles with a younger soldier. Poor kid roped in to do a King's dirty work.

He closed his eyes, he'd be back in the town soon, ready to meet his fate.

--Theodore laughed as he left with Bridget on his arm, everything had worked out perfectly.

He mounted his horse, took the reigns and ordered his men to return to their town. "Men, back!" each one turned their horses and followed, blinding towards Harrison's doom.

Theodore was enjoying this, he got to have a man killed and the body of a young lady.

Throughout the entire ride Bridget remained silent, lost in her thoughts and dispair. She longed to be in Harrison's arms but instead she was helping to lead him to his death. Soft tears rolled down her cheeks making a trail on her beautiful face.

It was hard to believe that not more than a few hours ago the only thing Bridget could see was Harrison and the life she was going to have with him. And now it appeared that would never happen. Instead she'd be wed to an old perverted knight who was going to make sure Harrison was dead by dawn the day after they returned to their kingdom.

Harrison stayed silent for the hours they spent riding. It was early morning when they finally reached their destination, the old town. When the keep came into view, his last strand of hope faded. His life was over, he didn't complain when they stopped, nor did he complain when he was forced off the horse, nor did he comeplain when they threw him in prison for treason and kidnap.

-- Theodore smiled, a job well done he thought. Tonight he would make a women of this girl, and he would have man slain. His night couldn't have got much better. Next, he must see the king. "Deal with him, put him in the prisons" he said leaving to see the king and to claim his prise.

OOC: would you be opposed to me being the king?

Bridget watched as the guards took Harrison away roughly to throw him into a dark and dirty cell. She wanted to stand up for him order the guards to be careful with him or better yet, release him. But she couldn't. Not if she wanted Harrison to live for as long as possible. Even if it was hopeless, even if she would lose him forever, he had to live for just a little while longer.

The guards threw Harrison into a damp cell in the dungeon of the castle where there was no light. Rats and spiders and all sorts of other creepy crawly things, scattered and sprang up from the shadows to meet him. Edward made sure to escort Harrison there personally.

"The king will have you executed before the night is up." he growled. "I'll do it myself if I have to but you, will, die." Edward hissed and kicked Harrison hard in the gut making him double over and fall to the ground coughing and gaging. With this Edward left Harrison in the miserable darkness.

Meanwhile Bridget tried to ignore Theodore's hands on her as he escorted her back to where her father was waiting in the throne room to greet the hero and his daughter, the prize that was to be won. Bridget shivered at the thought.

Skyro

Harrison sat in the cell, his mind plagued with thoughts of Bridget and him together. He sat for many hours. Just sat.

-- "Sir, I have the prisoner who kidnapped your daughter in the prisons and I have returned your daughter to you." Theodore spared no time in telling of how he had to battle the prisoner to get him into custodey and how he had to put his own body on the line to ensure the protection of the Princess.

The king fell for his lies.

Smiling to the King, Theodore handed over the Princess and, "May I speak in private my Leige?" He spoke with conviction, before this night was over he would have made Bridget into a women and at sunrise, he would have his men chop off the head of the one who had nearly really ruined it all.

Theodore was satisfied when he left the throne room that night, very sastified indeed.

Bridget greeted her mother and father joyfully for she was truely happy to see them again. She loved both of her parents deeply. She went into her mother's arms and stood there silently listening to Sir Theodore's lies, waiting for her moment to, a moment when no other was looking when she could sneak into the dungeons to see her love one last time.

While her father and Theodore talked privately Bridget was hurried away by her maids to be cleaned up and dressed propperly.

The king approved of Sir Theodore and his heroic tale.

"I say, It seems I have made a wise decision in you as my daughter's suitor. I shall never again fear for her life with you at her side and in her bed." he praised. "You may take Bridget tonight as well deserved reward for rescuing her. As she owes you her life I'm sure you'll find that she will not object and at dawn the prisoner will be executed!" The king ordered triuphantly.

Harrison continue to sit, Bridget kissing that man plagued his mind, so he continued to sit. Sit and sit and sit.

-- Theodore left the chamber and made his way to his own personal chambers that the King had rewarded him. If he was to be part of hte family then it was certainly okay for him to stay in the keep!

He entered his chambers and looked around, all of his things had started to arrive, the kings men worked quickly, they were effiecent and most of all, they were scared. And scared people will do anything if you tell them you'll have their head.

He sat on the edge of the bed and sheaded the cloak he had been wearing all day, rested his long sword on the dresser and removed his cap which he had to wear as a sign of respect to the king.

He breathed a sigh and relief and looked in the mirror. I'm a handsome fellow he beleived, he knew little about what the town's people said about him in all honesty. And he didn't care to find out. Tonight he would bed with the most beautiful women to have graced these lands since the Kingdom was first formed. And he would be the first one to do so. He was pleased.

After a few hours of scrubing and primping, and after Bridget had her hair nearly torn out of it's roots to be pulled up into a tight crown of curls, braided and twisted and pinned atop her head, and after her face and neck and chest had been throughly powdered and layers of make up added, Bridget was finally left alone in her chambers to be called upon later when she would be needed.

Bridget stood and looked at herself in the long elligant mirror framed with vines of gold and thorns of silver that was mounted on her wall. She had a very bad feeling about the way she had been dressed. They were garnments she had never seen before in her life until this day and they did not appear to be appropriate for everyday wear.

Bridget knew all too well what the thin white silk meant that clung snuggly to her figure and the flowing long white lace that was draped over her shoulders and hung loosely around her bare arms pooling delicately at her bare feet. Too much skin of her arms and legs and chest were showing than Bridget was comfortable with and she'd have liked to change, but she didn't have time.

Checking to make sure the halls were empty before she snuck out of her room and stole silently down the spiraling staircases, Bridget made her way down to the dungeon where Harrison was waiting. Stealing a lantern from the wall she hurried down the line of cells. She saw him sitting in the darkness in one corner of a cell and went to the bars with a hushed and strangled cry.

"Harrison!" she breathed reaching for him desperately through the bars, tears already making their way down her cheeks, ruining her make up.

Skyro

He was even hearing her now, calling him, but all he could see was her lips and his lips touching, kissing, sharing love.

The calls of his name got louder and he looked up from his crouch poistion. Bridget stood, in a dress that showed her magnificent figure perfectly holding a latern, holding her hand out for him.

He rose in an instant. "Bridget," He didn't quite know what to say, "What are you doing here?" He looked at her, deep into her eyes. "You'll get yourself in so much trouble!" He did not wait to hear her response, reaching through the bars, he gripping her head with his dirty hands and pulled her towards his, their lips touched and a sensation like no other filled Harrison's head. That sensation was fear being destroyed in a split second. He wasn't scared anymore, he had had more than he deserved in that single kiss. Now he was ready to die.

Pulling away, he stared deep into her eyes. "I love you." He said, retreating to the back of the cell. "And I want you to lead a good life, so forget me, and go make a man very happy."

He knew that a man might be happy, but she certainly would never be happy.

But his time was up.
