Hey guys, I'm looking to set myself up a little recording studio at home. I've got bit of an idea of what I need (hardware/software wise) but I was wondering if people had any suggestions on particulars?
Looking at all stuff here from mics & pre-amps to Logic Pro Studio and some speakers.

You should read up on the the mics a bit.. each has a different use. I used to have a book on it for pod casting. There is a TON of recording software out there. I use Garage Band for mine because it came with my Macs.. but you can shop around.

Yeah, I'm thinking about picking up a Neumann U87 & Blue Woodpecker.
Garage Band is handy enough but I recently started using Logic Studio Pro, finding it nice.

Well you got me beat already in knowledge.. like I said.. I did some research and got my toys/tools off a 'Dummies Guide to Podcasting'.
