Name: Dr. Delilah Elizabeth Warren

Hair: A rich chocolate brown
Eyes: Brown with green highlights that can be made more apparent by clothing or an impressively good mood.
Skin: Flawless and usually rather pale, but she could tan nicely if she could find the time.
Weight: 126 lbs
Height: 5'2
Other: At only 5'2, first impressions of Jessica tend to include words like, petite and diminutive...until people get to know her and realize that she has a personality much larger than her small frame would suggest. She also dresses to make herself appear taller and only trades in her 2-4 inch heels for sneakers when she is actually going to be in surgery. In the office however her dark hair is always neatly bound back, her clothing is professional and tidy and leans toward suits to give her a slightly older air to counter her youthful appearance.  Away from the hospital she leans to jeans or skirts and her ever present heels to make herself look taller. It is away from her patients that one might also discover that there is an Ouroboros tattooed on her right shoulder and a chain of vines tattooed around her left ankle.

Information:

Personality: "Li" as most of her friends call her for short, is intelligent, driven, tenacious and has a nasty  habit of not just thinking she's right, but often being right. Those traits are tempered by a need to do good for others (hence her drive to become a physician), a kind heart, honesty, loyalty, and while she will be the first to tell her friends hard truths, she will try to temper them and speak them as gently as possible. She also has a, surprisingly, wicked sense of humor that most don't see until she gets to know them well enough to feel comfortable around them...this leaves many believing she is rather more serious than she is, or that she's entirely without a sense of humor, until she suddenly surprises them with her sharp wit.

Background: Li grew up in a fairly average middle class home with one older brother, a Mother whose a teacher and  Father whose an electrician. Both of her parents had grown up in poorer homes than the one they were able to make together and that background had taught the the value of their money and not to live outside their means so while they could have gotten a "bigger/newer" house/car/appliance etc. they chose to live more modestly and ensure that things were taken care of for both their, and their children's future. Li wasn't actually aware of any of this as a child. What she knew was that they didn't have the biggest house, but that her parents made sure they certainly had the warmest home of anyone she knew and while she didn't have the newest and best, many of her friends still preferred to spend their time in her home, basking in the love that her parents were just as happy to share with their "adopted" children as with their own flesh and blood offspring.

Li wouldn't have traded that simple home for all the mansions in the city.

As she grew older her parents (her Mother the teacher in particular) stressed the value of a good education and in working hard for those things you wanted. When it came time for things like school shopping she and her brother would be allotted a specific amount of money that her parents would provide and anything outside of that sum they had to work to earn. If she wanted 150$ sneakers she either needed to have a reason to need such high end shoes (they were willing to provide for things like athletic equipment but not just because they were the newest and coolest) or she had to earn the money to buy them herself. This quickly taught her to value her money and how to save for the things she wanted. It also taught her to question whether she truly wanted something enough to use her hard earned money on it or not.

As simply as they lived, Li was actually surprised to find that when she wanted to go to college, her parents had saved enough for her entire undergraduate education, and the first year of her post-graduate education as well, and that they'd done the same for her brother! Unlike Li, her brother chose not to pursue a college education, but went to a trade school to become an electrician like their Father. This left a rather nice chunk of money left over and their parents split it, simply giving her brother half and using the rest to pay for another years tuition of Li's medical schooling. Between scholarships and her parents hard earned money, Li actually managed to graduate from medical school with only 20,000$ of debt, not the hundreds most of her classmates had managed to accrue in that same time. It was a weight off her shoulders, but her parents had taught her to despise any sort of debt and it weighs on the back of her mind all the same.

Now in her third year of her surgical residency, Li can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel and a future that doesn't include nothing but studying and working with just the occasional night here and there to remind her she's human. The end of that tunnel is still four years away, but it's much closer than it was when she graduated high school at 17.

Recently, however, things have gotten a little weird. Nothing that anyone else would have noticed but that she couldn't miss. For example she'd been stuck with a needle a few days ago but when she'd pulled off her gloves to change them, there'd been no sign of that needlestick. Or when she'd cut her leg shaving, but when she wiped the blood away there was no cut to be found. She couldn't say that being able to heal herself was a bad thing, but she wasn't entirely certain that was what was happening (she was too analytical to just take it at face value) and the idea of cutting herself on purpose to find out made her rather squeamish. It could be a truly awesome gift, or it could be a sign that the pressure of years of schooling and residency were actually making her crack...and she was scared to find out which!

Hobbies and Interests: Hobbies? What are hobbies? While Li doesn't have much time for hobbies when she takes a rare night off from work and studying she can be found reading just about anything (so long as it has nothing to do with medicine!), catching a movie, going to dinner with friends, hitting the occasional jazz club (or other club if a friend suggests the musicians playing are good), or just shutting herself in away from the entire world and curling up with old DVD's and a pint of her favorite ice cream.


OOC Ons and Offs: Generally pretty flexible, anything other than bathroom play, bestiality, maiming, death, or underage can probably be negotiated at least once.

Information:

Personality: Alannah is a hard-working, driven, compassionate woman.  She is smart, sarcastic, fiery, and witty.  While she is most often reserved, cruelty to animals and children will ignite her Irish temper.  She is a loyal friend and does her best to be kind to others. 

Background: Alannah, like both her siblings, was born in Ireland.  Her family moved back to the United States and to Glenside, when she was eight.  Alannah was always a compassionate and artistic child and was often drawn to the beauty of nature.  She brought home a countless number of orphaned animals and nurtured them back to health.  Needless to say, her parents quickly became well-practiced in finding “good” homes for the strays.

Alannah’s most cherished memories are upon her Granda’s ranch.  Riding horses, raising colts, cleaning out pens, sheering sheep, and even milking and branding cows, Alannah did it all when she visited.  Her Granda, and later her brother, taught her how to shoot with rifles, pistols, and revolvers, at an early age.  She visited the ranch more often after she turned sixteen and gained the freedom of a driver’s license.  While in high school, she joined ROTC like her older brother.  Alannah competed at the national level in marksmanship through ROTC both her junior and senior year.  The only other extracurricular activities she was involved in was being the main photographer for the school’s photo album, and working on the school newspaper.  She graduated high school fourth in her class and entered college with both an academic and marksmanship scholarship.  She earned her Bachelor’s in Computer Graphics at the age of 21.  After graduation she spent a year travelling Europe.

In the last few years, Alannah has started her own freelance photography business.  Most of her income revolves around senior pictures, weddings, and family photos, but every once in awhile she sells a photo to the newspaper.  She designs websites to help ends meet.  Though, photography is by far her passion.

Other: She has a small brown birthmark just above her belly button.  Her hair is straight but slightly wavy towards the ends that seems to flow in the wind.  She tries to keep her hair straight as much as she can but her ends seem to have a mind of their own.  Standing at 5'6 with a slightly curvy figure, she is very pleasant to the eyes and gets many looks from both men and women.  She can seem to be a little clumsy in her movements and can tend to accidentally bump into things if she is not paying attention.

Personality:
Maria has the classic New York attitude and it shows in her speech and her actions.  She is not one to take any crap from anybody and can tend to get into either an argument or maybe a fight if she feels that her pride is at stake or if she feels threatened.  Underneath the classic New York brashness on the outside is a very sweet woman on the inside.  Pleasant to talk to and almost to a point of sensuality, her voice can sound sweet around friends.  Sometimes, she could wind up being the life of the party if she is intoxicated enough.

Background:
Born in New York City, Maria was raised by a NYC police officer for her father and a sous chef and the world famous Giuseppe's for her mother.  She did not see her father very often as he worked very long hours.  Sometimes he was gone her days for reasons that she did not know at the time.  Later on, she found out that her father was promoted to Detective and went out undercover for many days or weeks at a time.  She spent more time with her mother who started to cook up many of Giuseppe's dishes at home.  Just to see how her mother made those recipes gave Maria her first interest in cooking.  At first, she was just helping with some of the spices to put on the food but when she became a teenager, she was actually cooking those recipes.  Cooking gave her a great joy, especially when her father came home from one of his undercover assignments.  Her parents were proud of their little "principessa", or princess. as she eventually went on to graduate in the middle of her class from P.S. 46.

Moving on to culinary school, Maria was frustrated about their curriculum.  Her passion was with the food of her Italian heritage but the school only offered courses in baking, American and French foods.  She only stayed on for a year before working at small Italian restaurants.  Just being a dishwasher certainly was not what maria had in mind but this was all that was available.  It seemed that everyone in New York City wanted people with over 10 years of experience to touch the food or make suggestions for recipes.  In a huff, she felt discourages as she left the big city to move west.

She tried the big cities at first.  Chicago, Minneapolis, Cleveland and Cincinnati were many stops in her two year tour but it seemed that the big cities only offered the same requirements that New York City offered.  Finally about three months ago, she wound up in Glenside and onto the door of Giovanni's.  meeting the patriarchs and also the young Francesca, Maria started to feel at home.  Though she heard a lot of yelling, she was used to it all due to her New York upbringing.  She was enjoying the time there at the job and eventually wound up with the Sous Chef position.  As the winter set in, maria started to get a little sick as well so she had to take a few days off of work.  Though Maria didn't go to the clinic at the same time as Francesca did, she wound up at the same clinic and received the flu shot.  Unfortunately where her waitress friend started to get better, Maria started to hear voices in her head.  It was like random voices were talking to her as she could not quite understand what was happening.  She was hoping that she wasn't going insane as she hopes to find out what is happening to her before she completely fears that she would lose her mind.

Hobbies and Interests:
Maria LOVES to cook, not only at her job but also at home.  Though she is not able to learn the family recipes of her restaurant, that doesn't stop her from trying out new recipes of her own.  She thinks that she is a wonderful cook but she can tend to put a little too much spice in her food.  Though a normal person wouldn't notice the difference, a food critic certainly would.  She really likes to cook low-calorie dishes.  Her specialty is a Turkey Alfredo that she hopes will be the talk of the town at the restaurant.

When she is not cooking, she loves to shop.  Not just for shoes but for complete outfits.  Her words are that "The shoes make the outfit."

OOC Ons and Offs:
Maria loves both men and women equally.  Sometimes, she can switch phases between men and women but right now, she is in her "in-between" phase.  She really wants to meet "The one" as she hopes that special someone can capture her heart while she captures "The One" with their stomachs.  Deep down inside, she is a romantic at heart as she wishes to be swept off of her feet.  She is not fond of sharing "The One" with anyone else though she might try some new things from time to time.  She is not into BDSM or any of the strange kinky stuff.
