It is a time of Galactic strife and warfare, as the Empire fights furiously to keep its Iron-clad grip upon the Galaxy, to establish an order that will last a thousand years, while the Valiant forces of the Rebel Alliance works tirelessly to free the Galaxy from the tyranny of Emperor Palpatine and bring back freedom and democracy. Countless battles erupt, on worlds both great and small, soldiers on both sides fight and die in the various sectors of the Galaxy as two sides wage war to decide the very soul of the galaxy. It is a time when a Young Luke Skywalker has just received two strange droids that would set him on his path with destiny.

Yet, in the background of all this, another war is about to play out. A war that would decide the fate of the Galaxy. A threat looms like a plague of locusts over the galaxy, staring with envious eyes at this oasis in the middle of a lifeless universe. With less than noble intentions, they slowly take their first initial steps into Imperial space, and begin devouring. Coming in from the enigmatic "Unknown Region" on the edge of Civilized space, no one has ever seen anything like them before. No one knows how to fight them, or if they even can be fought. They only know that this horror from beyond only leaves death in its wake. The only thing standing between the nightmare, and a free strike deep into the Empire, is a small, undermanned, and ill equipped Garrison of Imperials.

Whenever one thought of the Empire and its seemingly endless manpower reserves, they never thought of the few among them who truly believed in the cause, who set out to make the galaxy a better place. They would only think of the jackbooted thugs who oppressed all and pushed the Emperor's cruel policies. The faceless storm troopers and the screaming Tie fighters soaring overhead. They would easily forget that people were under those masks.

People who had lovers, families, who experienced pain, joy, who all joined the Empire for a menagerie of reasons. Some to escape from poverty or strife on their homeworld, others tired of living under the yoke of an alien oppressor and wished to see humanity hold the chain for once. Others out of a desire to do good in the universe, to strike back against the pirates, smugglers, slavers, who ran rampant while the old Republic dithered about, arguing over what color to paint the ceiling rather than fixing the galaxy. Some just joined to fight and kill without being punished for it, while some truly saw no better alternative for the galaxy than the order the Empire promised, or to even change it from within and make the Empire something to respect, rather than to fear.

Whatever their reasons for doing so, they all enlisted to serve and fight for the Empire, and its Emperor. They signed their lives away and slapped on their armor or uniforms when they woke up in the morning. Inevitable they all found themselves sent to the most backwater sector in the Empire, far from any real source of action and from any chance of earning themselves a real shot at recognition. Some are there as a punishment, others by choice, and some by simple bad luck. It matters not how or why they ended up there, what matters is the role they would play in keeping the galaxy safe. Like a shining wall of glistening Plastisteel armor, they will hold their sector, no matter the cost.

These few imperials will do the impossible, and stall the greatest threat the galaxy has ever seen. Something far crueler than the old Sith empire and with greater plans for conquest than even Emperor Palpatine himself. Something much much older, to which even a sarlacc or Rancor would spit right back out in disgust.

In this rare case, these jackbooted thugs, oppressors of the people, and destroyers of democracy, they were the heroes. And yet their songs will not be sung, their names will never be remembered, and no one will be making holovids or dolls of these few, Rebels, and Imperials, who stood like a wall against a Tsunami.

Against the horror encroaching on their sector, that promised no mercy, no quarter, only to make the oceans of every world run red with blood, against this only the Empire truly had the strength to stop them and halt their advance. In this one moment, they were the true heroes.

Idea for this story:

On the outer fringes of the Galaxy near the Unknown Region, an Imperial Garrison goes about its daily duties of maintaining order in this part of the galaxy, not that much needs to be done in their barely populated region. But they still go about the daily grind and do what they can to hold back the madness that came with constant, unending, tedium.  Inspecting Freighters coming into, and out of, the Sector for contraband or Rebels (And rebel sympathizers). Hunting down Pirates, and Criminal organizations whenever they pop up. Stamping out any sign of the Rebellion trying to take root and doing the same patrols over and over again. It is a boring, and tedious Job with little reward, but someone had to do it.

Though the Imperials start to notice strange errors in their communications, small at first, but quickly increasing. Transmissions were not able to leave the sector, despite how much power they put into the transmitters or how much maintenance they did on their communication arrays. Adding to this, several Imperial Raiders have gone missing. The Higher up's first thought was that it was an act by the Rebellion, seeking to cut them off and isolate them from the rest of the Empire.

If only it were so easy. But the Imperials will discover that it is something far worse. Even the cruelest of rebels don't massacre entire villages, mutilating the corpses and putting them up on display where anyone could see them. Soon those who once spat on the Empire are now screaming for their help. Their terror filled voices only coming through in garbled transmissions.

This story will center around this imperial garrison that only has two first generation Imperial Class-Star Destroyers along with a handful of Victory Class, and Gladiator Class Star Destroyers. Smaller Imperial Raider Class Corvettes speeding along with TIE fighters, Interceptors, and Bombers. Storm Troopers, AT-STs, and AT-ATs patrolling on sparsely populated worlds. This is, hands down, the worst assignment in the galaxy and everyone finds that very quickly.  for some it is used as a punishment, for others it is just to get them out of the way. As such the Imperials resources are limited, and their enemy feels infinite.

For the most part this may be an Imperial centric RP. Though if there are Rebel/Criminal Elements who wish to join up, this will be a situation where these two sides will have to work together in order to win.

Example:

Name: Tara Scor
Age: 22
Race: Human
Sex: Female
Sexuality: Bi-sexual
Faction: Imperial
Occupation: TIE Fighter pilot.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 115lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Style: When not in Uniform Tara generally gravitates to clothing that are more athletic than sensual as she spends a great deal in the Manticore's Gym training to withstand the tremendous G-forces that come with Piloting a TIE fighter. Though there has been times she has been seen wearing something more feminine. She keeps her black hair short to be more comfortable within the tight confines of her flight helmet. She also tends to wear a touch more make up than Imperial Navy Regulations would allow.

EQUIPMENT-ABILITIES-OTHER

Weapons: SE-14C Blaster Pistol

Abilities: Pilot

HISTORY-PERSONALITY

History: Tara grew up on Tatoonie as an orphan. She lived in the shadows to keep away from slavers, and Thugs that would try to exploit an impressionable youth. When she entered her teenage years, she made a game of boosting Land Speeders, and T-16s for fun. That was until she was caught in a sting operation by Imperial troopers. However, her piloting skills did gain her notice with the officer in charge of the sting whom gave her a choice, Prison with Hard Labor or Enlist in the Imperial Forces. She would choose the later and discover an affinity for the reliable, and quick TIE Fighters.

Though even after Imperial training, and Discipline she still had a bit of a wide streak as she's been reprimanded for performing "Unsanctioned Maneuvers" that caused more than one Air Control Officer's lap getting splashed in hot Coffee. Though her wide streak only manifested when she was behind the controls of something fast.

Personality: Tara is confident in her abilities, justifiably so. She is quiet when out of her cockpit, but a demon in the skies. She is a bit shy about sexuality cause of her rather odd upbringing. She'll need someone with a guiding hand to help her into that realm.

Reason For assignment: While her skills with the TIE are formidable. They're not enough to excuse her rather flagrant disregard for safety protocol around base.

Ons: Vanilla, Cuddling, long slow make out sessions.

Offs: Xenos, bondage, pain,

Hmmm this looks interesting, and it's pretty rare to see a Star Wars game that isn't system based (I assume). What is the policy on force users? I was thinking of playing a decommissioned Inquisitor, the entire order of which was deemed useless after the Empire seemingly finished off the last remaining Jedi. Palpatine didn't want a bunch of force wielders just running around in his new empire, especially ones versed in the very "kill your boss" orientated dark side, but he to some extent knew of the dangers lurking in the unknown region, thus he figured sending former inquisitors to be stationed there would both get them out of the way and bolster the first line of defense, so win-win. I don't intend her to be particularly powerful, in fact she's very much out of practice with most force techniques, so I don't think it would ruin the power balance too much.
What a thrill...with silence and darkness through the night....

How about an Imperial Explorer she was out there in the unknown, scrapping by and gathering information for the Empire as in geology reports, zoological studies, civilization species analysis and likely knew some shit wasn't right well before anyone else. She would have her own rebuilt and outfitted ship, official papers and all and well be rustic by now even using a high powered automatic slug thrower of her own design as her main weapon, knowing blaster fire is a lot slower than it the ammunition flying out at over 14x faster and armor piercing ammunition perfect for most armor even if not fancy.

Would be more the worldly type willing to work with aliens and did her bit when young in the Clone Wars for the right side, losing some parts but she is still going. The Empire rewarded her with her current assignment and her old rank of Colonel is still on her card, though he doesn't command much anymore.

Deck Officer Viera Albrecht
Viera Albrecht

BASIC INFO:
Full Name: Viera Galen Albrecht
Age: 23
Sex: Female.
Species: Human.
Faction: Imperial.
Occupation: Imperial Deck Officer.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Height: 5'8.
Weight: 165
Hair color: Red
Eye color: Blue
General Appearance: Viera does her best to represent the Empire wherever she goes, even if she spends most of her time on the ship. she properly presses and folds her uniform and keep it clean. She upholds dress regulations to the best of her ability and tried to put off an air of professionalism and put forth the best face for the Empire.

Faceclaim: (Only if you want to use a Real image of a real person)

ABILITIES/EQUIPMENT/OTHER
Weapon(s):

SE-14 Blaster Pistol.

HISTORY & PERSONALITY

HISTORY: Viera grew up on Kuat, watching the shipyards up above in the night sky, constantly building up the finest ships of the Empire before they departed to parts unknown to uphold order and stability, to reestablish security after the failure that was the Galactic Republic. She was raised to see that the Galaxy needed a firm hand to guide and only the Emperor had been able to establish the rule needed to do so. With her Upper Middle class upbringing, Viera could only look down and see the gleaming glory of the Empire, her familie's position keeping her safe, and unable to see the real, ugly side of the Empire.

She listened to Imperial propaganda broadcasts almost everyday and watched the Stormtroopers patrol the streets in their shining, glistening, armor, arresting criminals and those daring to try and smuggle illegal substances onto Kuat. Unlike most, she saw the better face of the Empire and believed in the promise of a better, safer, galaxy for all. So she naturally wanted to do her part for the galaxy and signed up at her local recruitment office, despite the protests of her family, who were not so keen on seeing their daughter joining the worst thing to happen to the galaxy since the Sith Empire. But Viera would not be swayed.

After her enlistment she worked herself hard to rise up in the ranks and prove herself worthy. But she was not the smartest of her class, not the strongest, and not nearly enough of a backstabber as others who went to the academy with her. She didn't cheat and didn't set others up for failure, which made her an easy target for them, but she did have a drive to succeed that kept her from flunking out despite the efforts of others around her to see her fail.

In the end she never got to truly join the imperial navy the way she had wanted to, but she was happy in her position. Every duty had its value and if that meant sitting in front of a screen or clearing Ties and other ships for landing or take off, then that was fine by her. Even fi the sector was incredibly boring and far from the action of hunting pirates, smugglers, and terrorists, but it was still just as important, and it led her to meeting with one very important person.

It may not be the flashiest, or most exciting posting, but she wasn't going to complain, she was happy where she was. And she had even met someone who made her heart flutter like no other.

Reason for their Assignment:It was one of the few places  that would accept her results from the academy, as well as being one of the only places in the male dominated Empire that was willing to take on a female crew member with little fuss.

PERSONALITY: A true believer in the promise of the Empire, Viera does not act the way most people think an Imperial would. She is professional, respectful and courteous, wanting to do her part to fight the lies against the Empire. She is very work oriented and puts in the extra time to dot her Is and cross her Ts.

She also does her best to be polite and show proper etiquette, nothing less would be expected of a girl of Kuat. On occasion she may let her hair down, but remains formal and dislikes messes and some of the less civilized behaviors of her fellows. With only one exception.

CHARACTER CONNECTIONS: Is in a relationship with Arla Thrace, both romantically and sexually. She knows it is against regulations and tries to keep it secret, going out of her way to hide it, despite the fact that almost everyone knows about it, and nobody cares. It was fun gossip at first, but everyone grew tired of it, as they did with many things. So long as both of them do their jobs and don't start trouble, the higher-ups turn a blind eye to their relationship.

Viera never knew she would love another woman as much as she did, but the mere thought of that wonderful Storm Trooper had her feeling giddy and laughing in an unproffesional manner. The fact that she was so brash and from a social class much lower than her own did trouble her somewhat, but she had already displeased her family by Joining the Empire. Why not go all the way?

Player/Character Preferences: Same as Player.

Colour me interested as well.

I have a number or questions...

Are clone troopers permitted?

Did the Empire have a policy similar to colonial Britain, petty criminals could opt for military service rather than prison time?

Are non-humans permitted to serve, if not as stormtroopers, than potentially scouts?

My thoughts are a biker scout who comes from a nerf herding background, joining the military to get away from the dead end life he was facing.  He learned to be a crack shot protecting the nerf herds from predators and learned to tinker with speeder bikes as something to do with his spare time.

A Nagai petty criminal who was given 'the Emperor's hard bargain', service in the military instead of time on a penal colony.

An clone lieutenant looking for an honourable death to make up for pulling the trigger on the Jedi general he had become far too close too.

One or two aliens that would not be front like soldiers.

Hello Pdragon, It is good to see you, and all the lovely traps you often bring. XD

At the moment, it is not a System Game as I've never been very familiar (nor have any real experience) with Systems. This is more of a plot based game. Telling a story of the greatest War never told type stuff.

As for Force users, I would have to say No. As that would open the door for everyone to have some type of force power. Also I wouldn't imagine the Emperor simply casting off those that could be a threat to him in the future. That, and if the Emperor had any Inkling of what was coming. He wouldn't send a handful force users. He would send an entire fleet! Though there are sources that say that the Emperor does know what is coming and that is the impetus for him forming the Galactic Empire in the first place.

Perhaps someone that worked with an Inquisitor so they have experience around force users, but no power of their own.

A Explorer I would imagine would be quite helpful, particularly when it comes to learning more about "The Enemy". And a Ship modified to be out in deep space doing survey work could be doable. though the one off custom weapon that is by far more powerful than standard is a bit of a stretch. I would like to know more about what (s)he did during the Clone Wars before I make a decision on that, and the rank.

Though since they're out in the "Wilderness" (s)he could theoretically see signs of something amiss shortly before the fall comes.

Hello Captain, And thank you for your interest.

The time period is about Episode IV, Rogue One so Clone Troopers would be a bit old by this time

Since I used that "Emperor's Bargain" for the Example CS, I would say Yes. While I can't comment on Imperials as a whole. I know they did employ Alien Informants, and I know that Thrawn was an alien that made it all the way up to admiral. So it may be possible that Aliens formed some part of the Imperial Warmachine. Like scouts as you said, or spies looking for any signs of Rebels trying to gain a foot hold in the region. So I'll have to do some research into it.

So the Nerf Herder, and Nagai may be possible. Though the only way I can see a clone trooper would be one that went AWOL shortly after the clone War and made their way out to this Force forsaken stretch of space.

And general Alien bystanders are always needed for Citizens.

Oh, I assumed the whole reason you were making a story about the "Unknown Region" was because you knew about the recent lore the revealed Palpatine was searching for something out there, presumably some kind of malicious force, and wanted this to kinda explore how he was low key dealing with it during his reign.

And I suppose that's a fair point about force users, however since I've only really been trying to find an rp to fit this one character idea I've had for a while now, I'm afraid I'll have to pull my interest.

Juggtacular

Im up for making a cybernetically modified Imperial Agent who was thrown to the wolves during an operation and this is his way of basically not being hunted down for the rest of his life for the secret tech implanted in him.

apygoos

tenatively intersted ,will attt teh very least be following this

I'm sorry to hear that Pdragon, but I wish you look luck.

Perhaps I should've put this in the initial post. Yet, this will be a Do, and Die scenario. People's characters will die, all by the end of the story. This would be an excellent opportunity to act out that "Heroic Death" that you always wanted. :P

Heavy Weapon specialist Arla Thrace.
Arla Thrace

BASIC INFO:
Full Name: Arla Castelo Thrace
Age: 25
Sex: Female.
Race: Human.
Faction: Imperial
Occupation: Imperial Storm Trooper. Heavy Weapons Specialist.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Height: 6'3''
Weight:
Hair color: Blonde.
Eye color: Green
General Appearance: Arla doesn't see much point in polishing her armor or cleaning up her uniform if it is just going to get dirty again the moment she is called up. So she only cleans it to keep from being bothered by it from her superiors. So her clothes are always scruffy, or spotted, while her armor is always improperly cleaned and sporting smudges or spots on it.

Faceclaim: (Only if you want to use a Real image of a real person)

ABILITIES/EQUIPMENT/OTHER
Weapon(s):

She is trained to use multiple weapons but will take whatever is assigned to her per Op.

DLT-19 Heavy Blaster.

T-21B Heavy Blaster

E-11 Blaster

HISTORY & PERSONALITY

HISTORY: Arla was born and raised on a savage, backwater, swamp world known as Gor Morka. It only had one space port on it, used for trading, refueling of ships and the occasional stop by Trandoshans or other groups who wished to hunt on the world. Arla's people had no name for themselves, seeing it as a waste to name themselves. Her life was simple, raised to fight and survive on a savage world. It was hard, but fulfilling. She lived with her entire family, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Her upbringing was loving but harsh, she learned to throw a punch before she could spell her own name, and how to take pain without shedding a single tear. Tears are for brats and the weak. And her tears were all shed long ago. She grew to become a bounty hunter when it was finally time for her to move on. She took on dangerous jobs all around the Galaxy, staying on the fringes and away from all the galactic politics that were shaping the future. She didn't even know of the Empire beyond occasional grumbles from locals and the storm trooper patrol. She neither cared about it, nor respected it. Until while on a hunt for Trandoshan pirates, she was nearly crushed by an AT-ST.

She just barely managed to roll out of the way as the large, unsightly, machine stomped its way through the brush and didn't seem to notice her. The imperials were after the same band of pirates. Arla didn't have anything to take down a Chickenwalker, so she stayed hidden while the AT-ST and a group of stormtroopers got to work.

Her weapons were trash compared to that of the Empire, she watched them quickly stomp on the Trandoshans, their weapons blowing holes in the lizards with ease and caused such wonderful destruction. Arla didn't know much about galactic politics, but she wanted to wield weapons just like those. So she shadowed the Imperials back to their staging ground, and then went to ask if she could join them. They told her no, so she went to the next planet looking for a recruitment station to enlist with.

After that her life was a fun run of getting into fights, sometimes when not ordered to and with her own side. Arla wasn't the smartest trooper, but she was a fierce fighter, getting a natural sense of the battlefield and flowing with combat like a dancer. But despite her record n the field, her lack of discipline and constant need to fight only got her into trouble, where she was eventually reassigned out to the far rim near the Unknown Region, as punishment.

Reason for Assignment: One disciplinary action too many. One too many fights or acts of insubordination that finally had her sent to the most boring sector in the entire galaxy. If it wasn't for Viera, then Arla would honestly have taken action to get herself thrown in prison or just gone AWOL.

PERSONALITY:
Arla is a simple girl, she likes weapons, explosions, a good fight and a good lay. But she does have a soft side, albeit a small one. She isn't much for all the rules and regulations of the Empire, but she does enjoy some of the stability it gives her, and all the fun toys they assign her to use.

She isn't needlessly cruel, but neither will she go out of her way to nurture or coddle anyone. Her only source of shame is her own sense of inadequacy when it comes to the more educated members of the Empire, who talk of concepts and ideas she cant even begin to understand. Sure she could survive on a Death World all on her own well enough, and can field strip an E-Web turret like no one's business. But she doesn't have a single clue about banking, how a ship's drive works, or even how to appreciate art. Its especially annoying given her taste in women, picking one used to fancy parties and fancier people.

CHARACTER CONNECTIONS: Is unashamedly in a relationship with Officer Viera Albrecht. She doesn't care about the regulations against it, not as if anyone else cares for that matter. She only cares for keeping Viera close and not making a complete fool of herself infront of her fancy lovergirl.

What superweapon its a modern basic automatic weapon, blasters have advantages but so does a slug thrower especially since most body armor worn works on energy weapons not that kind of weapon, and with an unknown enemy I can't be sure it would be effective as that, ballistic type armor would be protective even with armor piercing rounds. I'm sure it would be a primitive weapon but well we have the tech so a super advanced civilization it should be doable. Hell we had solid weapons in WW2 better than a blaster IMHO.

Having spent most of his life with only dull, utilitarian clothing to wear, Randall tends to go a little overboard on his off time, wearing brilliant colours (preferring reds and purples) unless he is working on one of his speeders, in which case he wears generic coveralls.  He wears a little  make-up as well.

Vehicle:
BARC Speeder Bike

Weapon:
DC-15A Blaster Rifle
on Speeder bike and standard issue
Scout Trooper Blaster Pistol
and
E-11 Blaster Rifle

Armour:
Imperial Scout ARC Trooper Armour

HISTORY-PERSONALITY

History: Randall started life as a seventh generation nerf herder.  He grew up with the smell and frequently remarks about the air smelling funny when there are no nerf nearby.  His earliest memories are of feeding the animals.  His entire life revolved around nerf, whether it was herding them, shearing them or butchering them for meat.  He learned to shoot to protect the herds from predators, becoming a crack shot by the time he was twelve.  He learned to repair and maintain the speeder bikes they used to patrol the crazing lands, to keep predators and rustlers at bay.
It bored him to the point of contemplating suicide.  Each day, he hoped, even prayed for something, ANYTHING to happen, to break up the monotony.  One day, his prayers were answered, when he saw a recruitment add for the Imperial Forces.  He transmitted an application within an hour.
His skill with a rifle and his familiarity with speeders, coupled with his ability to work on his own for long hours and his fascility for taking instructions moved him easily through training and he was selected for the scout trooper sniper school.  He was a round peg in a round hole and was happier than he'd been in years.  The problem was, boredom was boredom and Randall started looking for ways to alleviate that boredom

Personality: what is your character like? Are they devoted, lazy, nice, cruel?
Randall is devoted to the Imperial Scout Corps.  He enjoys doing anythings he's assigned to and has an infectious enthusiasm.  If he were a touch smarter, he might make a decent officer but he's just a little too impetuous and he is far too much of a linear thinker; great for a trooper but not so much for a leader.
Randall enjoys showing off.  He had almost no audience when he was growing up and his skills were nothing noteworthy in a community of tinkerers and sharpshooters.  Now that he is out amongst people who have not developed those skills, he likes demonstrating them, not out of arrogance or vanity but from the attitude that he has a high skill level at shooting and riding and people without out those skills might like to see them performed, to give them something to aspire to.  Deep down, he's still that niave nerf herder from a backwater planet who just wants to make a few friends.

Reason for Assignment: Why was your character thrown out to the middle of bumble-fuck-nowhere?
Well, it was late, there was some alcohol involved, somebody made a claim that they were the best bike jockey in the galaxy and Randall had to prove him wrong.  Dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, misappropriation of military vehicles, drunken and disorderly conduct, the militray tribunal certainly had a lot of ways to describe what was essentially a race around the perimeter of the base.  Nobody got hurt and nothing got broken.  Why was everybody so upset?

Ons: What makes your character squirm?
Women in tight clothing.  Flight suits are a real turn on.
Making out in tight spaces.  Closets, cockpits, showers.  Sex on a time limit.  It's the urgency of it.

Offs: What makes them lose their lunch?
Suggestions of bestiality.  Anybody accusing him of being a nerf-fucker had better be prepared for a fight.
Aliens.  Do they even have the same holes?
Homosexuality.  Specifically male on male, the thought of a man hitting on him seriously squicks him.

My Star Wars radar is tingling...

I'm rather new here but I have enjoyed playing an Imperial pilot on a different board for a couple of years if not more. I would as such very much like to join if possible...

I think Mac is just trying to make sure everything is as lore friendly as it can be within reason, while also trying to avoid being OP. It might just be best to look and see what kinds of Slugthrowers exist in lore and see which one you like best.

Hello Ruby,

It may be nothing more than simple misunderstanding/Miscommunication. Though when someone talks about a weapon/Device/Ship/etc of "Their own design" (in this case, not only weapon but stipulating "Armor piercing" Ammo), that usually means a weapon of greater power than what would generally be considered normal. One suggestion would be to take a Canon Ballistic Firearm and had it modified (IE, Collapsible Stock, Optic, Lengthened/Shortened barrel) for your character's purposes. That would easily be worked into the game.

Speaking of such, Captain. Is the C-3 Sniper Blaster canon for Star wars? The picture kinda looks like something from DESTINY, or Mass Effect.

Welcome Kayrax. nothing is set in stone at the moment. More seeing whom would be interested in such a story.

Lustful Bride

The DLT-20 blaster might be a better sniper

I'm thinking of having slug thrower as a weapon tech specialty so modifications are not hard or machining a variant in a workshop suited for gunsmithing likely a updated and more portable Cycler and a pair of revolvers nothing devastating, well okay in the right hands ... a higher sized slug thrower bullet will hurt bad say equivalent of a 357 magnum shell. Ammo she makes herself.  ;D

Technically it's a random sci-fi sniping rifle pulled off Google.  In canon it would be a redressed E-11 sniping rifle or if I had a preference, a redressed a sniper modded version of the DC-15A

I can edit to change the name and the pic.

DC-15A Blaster Rifle

My character is being built on the assumption parts to repair a weapon must be able to be repaired away from modern technology and slug throwing tech has the advantage of not needing electronics, modern circuitry (star wars imperial level) or even energy sources say she is on Planet X and the people are iron age people gunpowder and the metals would be easy to get. Her ship would have the workshop since she does surveys and well may need to fix up or make items for that like drill bits and yes simple explosive devices. So high tech spare space is for ship parts and things to fix the ship since its high tech and all the spare space must go for that in her view.

Captain Whitebread

You could always go with the Czerka Adventurer slugthrower rifle, weapon of choice of Aurra Sing

Captain Whitebread

Or Luke's Czerka 6-2Aug2 hunting rifle from the original movie

6-2Aug2

As a sidearm you might want to consider Dissuader KD-30 slugthrower pistol

  Fires acid filled hollow points

Would playing command of the Imperial presence be allowed?  I was thinking the Captain of one of the Victory or Gladiator Star Destroyers since the role of Ace pilot was already pitched.

Captain Whitebread

You could always go for a Nebulon-B Frigate.  Only slightly smaller than the Gladiator.
