One second I'll be right back I swear

"How can you say that!?" Bridget cried out to Harrison reaching for him again as he backed away. She wanted to hold him, kiss him again, she never wanted to let him go. "How cou- how could you?" she repeated as her sobs raked through her body making it almost impossible for her to speak.

Slowly she sank down to her knees setting the lantern on the fround and gripping the bars in both of her hands. She let her head hang in hopeless dispair.

"This is all my fault. you don't deserve to die." she whispered softly through her tears. "I'm sorry Harrison... I'm so, so sorry."

Skyro

Sitting at the back of the cell Harrison cried. He had never cried in the presence of lady before but he couldn't help it. "I'm sorry," he sobbed, "I should never have danced with you."

--Theodore was back in his room singing at the top of his lungs.

Tonight would be a good night.

"Don't say that." Bridget begged looking up at him again. "I'd rather die than to have never met you. I love you Harrison... I will never love another." she promised as she reached out for him again begging him to return to her.

He said nothing else, he didn't move. She had to leave. He just sat in the darkness and waited for her to love. He could hear her sobbing but to him, it was for the best. He was more trouble than it was worth.

She would move on. Wouldn't she?

"Harrison..." Bridget breathed. "He's going to take me tonight." she told him knowing her fate though she didn't want to accept it. "Please... just tell me that you love me one more time, and I wont let him touch me... even if it kills me." Bridget begged. She searched his face, half hidden in the shadows, desperate, pleading for him to acknowledge her.

Skyro

He slowly rose. He couldn't allow Bridget to lose her inocence.

"Can you get my out of here Bridget? I will get us out of here" He made his way to the cell bars and reached through to touch her face. It was smooth. He wanted to rescue her. He wanted to take her, he could not allow it to be HIM.

Bridget felt relief like a tital wave when Harrison finally came back to her. She raised her hand to press his against her cheek and nuzzled his palm as a few stray tears made their way down from her eyes. She tried to smile an encouraging smile, she was trying so hard to be brave.

Bridget shook her head. "There is nothing I can do tonight." She replied. "Wait for me?" she asked. "Have faith in me, I will get you out I promise." she whispered into his skin.

Skyro

"I trust you." Harrison said and returned back to the back of the cell. He had doubt, but he couldn't let her she that.

"I love you Bridget." He paused, "Always."

Kandy

"And I you, my love." Bridget responded quietly.

Bridget jumped back startled by a sudden clashing coming from the dungeon's enterence. Someone's coming. thinking quickly Bridget killed the lantern and backed into a deep shadow just as the light of another latern lit the spot where she had just been standing. The boy knight, Aidan, approached Harrison's cell and knelt pushing a tin plate through the bars toward Harrison.

"I'm sorry it's not much." Aidan said apologeticly. "I snuck as much as I could from the kitchen. It's only leftovers but..." Aidan trailed off staring down at the floor. In this harsh light it was easy to tell just how young he was. Younger than Harrison, younger than Bridget even by a few years.

Fear surged through Harrison as the crash of the dungeon door sounded. Suddenly, he was back in darkness and could no longer see Bridget's sad eyes and pretty features.

Only second laters, a new light was lit, another latern. The boy who had escorted him back to the castle was here. But why? When the tin plate was pushed through the bars, Harrison was surprised but quickly stood and reached out. He was hungry and thirsty, he would take anything he could. Looking up at the young boy's face and into his deep, sad eyes Harrison realised he was bullied into being here. He wanted to be here no more than Harrison did.

"Thank you, son." Harrison said politely. "I will remember you for this." The boy bowed at the words and weakly smiled.

Bridget bit her lip and pressed herself back against a wall as far as she could watching Aidan and Harrison. When the boy knight left to fetch some water the cellar fell dark once again.

Bridget slowly stepped forward and went up to the bars one last time.

"Harrison..." She whispered in the darkness. "I have to go, but I promise I'll be back for you." and with that she hurried quickly from the dungeon.

She met no one on the way back to her chambers and she breathed a sigh of relief when she was safely back behind her closed door. She pressed her back to the door looking up at the cieling and letting the latern fall to the ground. I wont let you die. She promised silently.

Bridget looked at herself in the mirror once more. Her visit to the castle dongeon had ruined her makeup and soiled her clothes. This was not good. Quickly Bridget tried to fix her make up and brush off the dirt one the white gown. When she was through you almost couldn't tell she had been down to visit Harrison.

Theodore waited, he had never been so excited in his life. He sat on his bed and awaited the arrival of his gift. She wouldn't be much longer now.

"Hmm," he hummed to himself, lying back, he would just shut his eyes for a second.

Bridget took a deep breath before finally deciding it was time to face Sir Theodore. She let it out slowly with a shiver, trying to prepare herself. She was startled when a knock came on her door and a maid entered.

"Sir Theodore requests your presence M'lady." the young woman said with a bow of her head. Bridget nodded and waved her off.

"I shall be with him in a moment." she assured her. After a few more minutes to herself Bridget finally left her chambers and went with her head held high to Sir Theodore. With a single soft rap on his large wooden door she entered.

"You wished to see M'lord?" she asked keeping her eyes downcast as she stood in front of him, a blush across her cheeks, already uncomfortable in this situation.
