It's not fair (high pitched whine replaced by scratchy whisper)

Tis not fair!  I work for 7 days straight, looking forward to three days off, and what happens?  I wake up sick :( that's a whole day of my three days gone, and I still feel bad.

UPDATE: Ok so now that I've gotten over my little whine fest (getting suitably drunk in the process) I am feeling better, but still scratchy throated.  It's ok though, because I entertain myself by talking to the cats in scary voices.
