Out of curiousity, what is your favorite Gundam?

The original.

LongN4

I've always had a soft spot for Turn A, and 0083
"Robin Hood has thou been stealing my valuables and giving them to the poor?"
"Yes"
"and you've stolen my girlfirend to?"
"Yes"
"and now your giving her to the poor?"
"YES!"
"Your giving her to the poor?"
"Yes, that is what I said!"

Anyone looking for a good fantasy story, I recommend Tears to Tiara.  Even if you're not an anime fan.   ;D

AtlasEros

I really liked Chobits & a series I think was called Automatic Maid Mahono (or something like that).
O/O

Baccano- a 16 episode crime/action/mystery/noir drama set in the 1930s centered around a train robbery gone horribly awry.

The English dub of Ghost Stories is just awesome.  They rewrote the script to make it a comedy horror and it's probably the only English dub better then the original :p

I especially love the line "That ghost is deader then Christian Slater's career!"

BTW, you can see the entire series on youtube in the Anime Network channel.

While not being a anime, (Rather a drama based on the manga), Liar Game is an excellent series for the ones who like Death Note
Darling,
What is going on...
Honestly that never happened,
Lying is your favorite passion...

Major Major

It might be a bit of a marmite series for you, but I can heartily reccommend Strike Witches to anyone and everyone.

Come for the fanservice, stay for the compelling plot and awesome dogfights!

Hunter

I gave Strike Witches a try but gave up in the middle of the second episode.

Major Major

I did say it was a marmite series; you either love it to bits, or you absolutely hate it. No middle ground.

Me, I love it.

Baccano! - Mafia timelines, Alchemists, Blood, Gore, Mixing and Crossing Storylines. What more can one ask for?

"When I'm Done With You, You'll Be a:
Raped, Bloody, And Humiliated, Little Alice in Wonderland."

Noein, Michiko e Hatchin, Cowboy Bebop, The Third Aoi Hitomi No Shoujo, Spirited Away. Probably a few more, but I don't watch too many animé and am way more critical than is good for me.

D: No love for G-Gundam? D:

Anyway...

To Aru Majutsu no Index (And other series in the line, such as Railgun and the like)
Otome Yokai Zakuro
Hyatta Ryouki: Samurai Girls (Fanservice!)

And...that's all the non-mainstream ones I know.

Fortune Arterial is also worth the time.

Here's an off the cuff listing of anime I'd suggest just from what I have in my binder. I know there are a couple more series that I'd suggest but these are the ones on hand. I'll probably suggest more later.

3x3 Eyes
Angel Heart
Akira (Ok, if you haven't watched it.... you need to be hit with a whiffle bat)
Baki the Grappler
Basilisk
Bastard! (Only six episodes before they killed it but it's hilarious)
Berserk
Black Blood Brothers
Black Cat
Black Lagoon (Series 1 & 2)
Blood+
Bleach (The Aizen Arc that just went to filler, is SWEET!!!)
Bubblegum Crisis
Bubblegum Crisis 2040
Burst Angel
Claymore
Cowboy Bebop
Darker than Black
Desert Punk
Ghost in the Shell (Movie and SAC 1&2)
Guardian of the Sacred Spirit
Kaze no Stigma
Hellsing (The original was good but the extended version afterwards was just plain AWESOME!!!)
Hikaru no Go
History's Strongest Disciple
Flame of Recca
Fist of the North Star
Macross Zero
Memories
Naruto (I wouldn't recommend past like episode 85 or so)
Naruto Shippuuden (The whole series is great, even some of the filler)
Nabari no Ou
Neon Genesis Evangelion (Classic, but if you're really wanting for a mind cracker, start this thing about sunset and watch the entire series straight through. You'll never be the same again, I promise)
Night Wizard
Ninja Scroll (Movie and Series)
Read or Die (And the OVA)
Ronin Warriors
Rurouni Kenshin
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Samurai 7
Scrapped Princess
Shadow Skill (Can't say too much about the movies or OVA but the series was good)
Shigurui (VERY Graphic. Not for the faint of heart or those with weak stomachs. They actively portray kanshi in the first episode. Complete with intestines)
Speed Grapher
Spriggan
Tenge Tenjou
Tokyo Majin
Trinity Blood
Witchblade
Trigun
Wolf's Rain
X (Movie and Series)
Zombie Loan

Skylit

Two that I had found remarkable, although short as far as episodes go, are Elfen Lied and Burst Angel.

Sorry if they were already listed. Elfen Lied was something I enjoyed from start to finish. If you're into bloody animes with lots of action and a decent story backdrop, then that's one you may enjoy as well. Burst Angel as well, although it was kind of slow as far as a story goes. The makers tried to create too many backstories which left me wanting more answers after I finished the final episode.. But still, the two are some of my favorites.
