Staff Breaks

Over our many years, Elliquiy has had many members of the community serve as Staff, but they are first and foremost members of that community. Over time several have stepped down, or had to take breaks for a variety of personal reasons. When either of these happens an announcement is made in Rules and Announcements and their Staff badge (Oracle/God/Goddess/Genie/Guardian) is removed, and they wear the donor badge for their appropriate member-group.

We need to ask everyone in the community to be respectful of these decisions. If someone is not 'wearing' their Staff badge, it means they are no longer taking on Staff duties, and should be allowed to exist on the site as a standard member. They will be unable to assist you in matters that a member of Staff can. If you have a situation, no matter how trivial, that touches on the rules, problems with another member, or other things in Staff's purview, bring the it to the attention of an active Staff member. This ensures both that the individuals time and decisions are respected, as well as your situation is addressed fully and thoroughly.
