A report from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases covers new research that suggests that intermittent anti-retroviral therapy is just as effective as continuous anti-retroviral therapy in curbing HIV. Which means that we can spread existing resources further in the battle against HIV. Not to mention the lower toxicity of an intermittent treatment regimen.
