Romance Story with "Action and Adventure"

Yeah.  Set during a country in the middle of civil war (could be anywhere).

My character is a soldier who has returned to his place of birth for much needed rest, only to find himself in charge of the small squad of soldiers with "outdated guns and naive minds".  Over the last couple of months, many people have been abducted and forced to work in a fearsome tank factory just over the hills for the enemy.  The small group of soldiers realise they're going to have to rescue their people, and blow it up.

Any one up for playing the lead female character?

Well, to be fair, I'm not a big fan of doing romance with another guy.
