Doktor Sleepless

I'll write up a sheet for a doctor as soon as I can.

Kate

CWand

Name: Katrina Williams
    Age: 23
    Sex: Female
    Age: 23 o.O
history: Kat was raised as a ward of the state and selected at age five for a specialist program dedicated for budding geniuses.  Her handler Mr Grey was a kindly old man and practically raised her as his own daughter even through all the endless tests and rapid education.  She had very limited exposure to her peers growing up, outside of other students in the program.   Do to her very high IQ and preparation by the government she graduated with a PHD in physics at age 17 and was recruited into Area 51 shortly there after.  Last year she was transferred to the SGC to undergo basic combat training and preparation for field research with the SGC.

looks:  Kat stands about five feet six inches and weighs in at one hundred forty nine pounds after a decent meal.  She is thin and has an attractive somewhat shapely form but far from model material.  Her eyes are a brilliant sapphire blue and almost appear to be actual sapphires floating in a lake of pearl at times in the right lighting.  The thin frame glasses she always wears to correct her far sightedness only seem to enhance the effect making them appear framed, like museum pieces.  Looking into them though there is something not quite right about them, although attractive she seems distant and somewhat nervous around others, unsure of herself and definitely shy.  her black hair hangs down to her shoulders and is often held in a neat ponytail that alternates between resting down over her shoulder, or hanging at the center of her neck.  She has a nice smile when you can coax one out of her, as her face often seems to be in a passive neutral state, as if to scared to smile or frown.  Her nose is small and extremely cute looking almost like a bunnies in some ways although still quite clearly human.

    Extra
Kat is one of several hundred individuals world wide to have the ancient gene in her genome naturally.  This is one reason she was transferred to the SGC unofficially.  Kat also has studied and is a brown belt in Karate, which she sometimes does to help calm or focus her thoughts when she's distressed.
If the universe is infinite, and there are an infinite number of universes that could exist, there must be by definition of the world infinite, an infinite number of worlds, and possibilities out there, and somewhere our lives played out with no regrets, fears, or discomfort.  If only that worked in practice....

I am very interested. I'll read up the plot now and will think of a character.

Arkaniel

If possible, I would like to join as a Captain John Sheppard, as I read existing characters were allowed?

If not, I will create an unique Tok'ra that is tired of Tok'ra heistation and wants to join the SGC

Name: Captain John Sheppard
Age: 31
Looks:
History: John Sheppard was born to a wealthy family and was the son of Patrick Sheppard, a utilities mogul. By the time he was fourteen years old, his father had already planned his life for him. However, Sheppard had other plans and wanted to join the Air Force, this heavily strained his relationship with his father and never spoke to him since, leaving his brother, Dave Sheppard to take his place. He did mention that he had a university education (Aeronautical engineering) and admits to taking a MENSA exam.

After his education he joined the United States Air Force and participated in several top secret missions, particularly in Afghanistan, but also visited every continent, apart from Antarctica. In order to visit this last continent, he trained to become a pilot for the Earth-based aircrafts Apache, Black hawk and Cobra helicopters, as well as a V-22 Osprey and an F-16 fighter. He was married to Nancy Sheppard, who worked at Homeland Security in Washington D.C. However, due to spending much of his marriage on secret missions, this led to a strain in their relationship and eventually divorced.

On one of his operations, he initiated a black mark by going on an un-sactioned rescue mission to save the lives of three servicemen. Another unsanctioned Op was to save the life of his friend, Captain Holland, who's Apache had crashed in Afghanistan. The mission, however, was unsuccessful. After this mission, he was selected to work for the SGC, due to his numerous skills, field experience, combined with a strong ATA-gene and his University degree in aeronautical engineering.

Sheppard is mostly estranged from his family. He had a wife, but they divorced after she couldn't take all of the secrets although she did later come to understand how hard it must've been for him. His father and brother are succesful buisnessmen and his father wanted him to be one too and they had a falling out when he wanted to join the Air Force. Sheppard felt he wasn't welcome by them afterwards and seemed to think he had no family as a result. He did return for his father's funeral and his brother thought he only wanted money from the father's will after being gone so long. His brother, Dave, revealed to him that his father always regretted their fight and wanted to make up but never got the chance, which seemed to stun John

Extra: John is one of the more laid-back, easy-going personalities on the SGC. He is capable under pressure, an excellent marksman, and outstanding pilot. He is very instinctual and frequently is able to come up with ingenious solutions to complicated problems. Some put this ability down to his being a closet mathematical genius, despite little to no scientific training. But despite this, he tends to be relatively humble - being able to accept that sometimes there isn't anything he can do to help with the current problem, and leaving it up to more capable minds. He has also occasionally shown a darker side;

He is in possession of a rather wry sense of humour, and frequently alleviates tension by telling jokes to keep spirits up. He hates clowns, enjoys Ferris wheels, American football and 'anything that goes faster than 200 miles an hour', along with displaying a vague aptitude for Chess. Sheppard turned down a membership offer from Mensa. Sheppard is an avid golf player and a fan of Johnny Cash. He has also on several occasions referred to the movie Alien by Ridley Scott. Sheppard also brought the book War and Peace to pass the time.

Can I get a faint clue as to what kind of plot there will be?

Kate

knowing the plot arkaniel that would ruin the fun !

Ok with Sheppard (quite a cool character I may add) one thing comes to mind, both his character and mine share the same rank, both are from the wing of command....

so who is in charge of the team ? or do we split into two teams each time we go through - and those we have under us within the team change as the need arises ?  (happy with that don't mind sharing command)

Arkaniel

isn't this freeform? on't we need to have a faint clue as to where the story should be going? Oh well, I'll just play along.

And yes, a little rivalry sounds good... rivalry that could be fought out further in the bedroom?

No need to loosen your gun from your holster yet Captain.  :)

I'm happy with either, it may be we have a few with us on different worlds, different teams (that reflect similar posting rates perhaps) and meet up sometimes and do mutual ones when necessary

Freeform = no system stuff ( we are no rolling dice ), rank implications (if we are both on a team and have different views on what to do ... ) can be pixie's choice.

CWand

yeah, and knowing the future would ruin all the fun anyways :P hehe.

Laughs... I don't give up my plots that easily .....Or what I have in mind..

Coughs and then speaks in her Low soft voice

Now ladies and Gentlemen .. We are all going on to an Adventure that I like to say ..that we are going to Explore New worlds that this gate here will take us .. IT will be one hell of a ride but in all the moments its just a breath away to this adventure..

I would also like you to be interduced to my Char .. She is the Grandaughter of the woman that has founded the StarGate on Earth......

Now I will get to her bio .. But When you meet her ..She knows more then you can ever imagine.. or dream of the next planet...

Now that being said...

As it looks its possible to have two Teams if that is so then .. I will be setting up to threads that will merge into one ...But that is after all the plots have been taking care of ...

Those that have ideas.. Please pm ... I would be happy to discuss it with you

Kate

sounds good pixie
if you want us to flesh out anything in the mean time - like what we have etc ...
what we take with us / sexuality inclinations just ask ..

Having two captains is not a big deal.  One would be appointed command and that would technically be the end of it, though heads could still butt.  I am not against two teams, but it isn't required.

Your missing someone, an alien, how can you have a team without an alien. I was thinking an out of favor benevolent G'ould maybe could be fun. One that rebel against the System Lords so might be resued by the team early in the series and joins the Earth forces..

After all not all would have to be bad, I could see one rebel surviving and causing trouble over the centuries. I figure some System Lord finally captured her and her followers and the SG folks come in on a mission and happen to free her.

I was thinking the benevolent Hindu deity LAKSHMI might be a good persona minus having a ship, army, assets or well more than guts and her experience plus some followers who know she is not a goddess.

If not that would be ok but she would be fun.

Actually the Goa'uld overall are loyal to the system lords, even if many try to backstab one another to gain power.  The Tok'ra are a 'subspecies' of goa'uld that broke off from the rest some time ago...:) their mostly the same thing, only the Goa'uld are innately greedy and overall evil, and the Tok'ra are distrusting, sneaky, and working toward a goal of destroying the system lords.

Who said all even the Tok'ra was founded by a G'ould Queen to fight the system lords so at least one was benevolent. Who disappeared so another G'ould Queen popping up that would likely work with the Tok'ra and produce recruits for their ranks might be a nice plug into the game. Especially with her loyalty to the humans of Earth since they would be the ones sheltering and protecting her.

Sorry it took a couple days.  I had to iron out some details with a tertiary source.

Name:    Nathan Richter
    Age:    25
    Sex:    Male
History:   Nathan was originally recruited by SGC following a rather brilliant strike at their security network, wherein he gleaned all of the top secret files regarding the Star Gate and the war against the Goa'uld.  A self-taught technological and pyrotechnic savant, Nathan was always getting into things that he shouldn't have been... SGC was just the first time he was caught.  He served as a network analyst, and during his down time, he made unauthorized use of facility resources to train himself on the use of firearms, to supplement his knowledge of explosives.  This is also where he met his wife, Avery, another civilian part of the Star Gate program.  He has recently put in a request for transfer to one of the SG squadrons, feeling that his technical knowledge, among other things, could be of at least minor assistance to a field team.
Looks:  Nathan is tall male Tau'ri with long sandy blonde hair tied up behind his head in a tightly wrapped ponytail that dangles just between his shoulders.  Sharp blue eyes look about curiously from behind some thin framed glasses, taking in the world around him with a quiet curiosity.  He looks to be moderately muscled, although it's certainly mostly from genetic makeup than actual effort... he could have more if he wanted, tried.  Numerous odd gadgets seem to be stashed about his body in various pockets or on a belt.  Adorning his hands and forearms are various tattoos
Extra:  Nathan is very logical and analytical, with a quick mind and a sharp wit, which is often levied at those near him with surgical precision.  He loves to banter, although most can't stand it... he has found someone that both tolerates it and encourages it, and he loves her all the more for it.
A million faces each a million lies, for each and all a chrome disguise.  Prompts for action, force reaction.  Embody promise in a sheen so pure.
