MARVEL END OF DAYS

THE PLOT CONCEPT:

Based loosely on the 616 universe but taking elements from the Marvel Movies, Cartoons and parrell reality's in terms of how you can portray you're characters. Created Characters are also welcome. The Majority of the Action will be taking place at First In "HULKLAND" but the survivors will have to deal with LOKI on a National scale as the game progresses. Character death will also be a high risk factor in this game given the Apocalyptic proportions they will be facing. I am open to suggestions during the game on the overall plot arcs.

I want to base the game after this map, basically in two years the Marvelverse has gone to Hell. America is now concerned off on its own with the rest of the world got nukes pointed at them if they stray out of line. The Villians lead by Doom and Loki united and overthrew the Governemnt and now the country is in chaos. Heroes are in camps guarded by Doombots and their powers nullified. The game will start with one group of heroes getting out and making the pact to overthrow the Warlords and Loki if it kills them and take back their country. As they travel across America they will unite with more heroes both new and old as they strive to AVENGE the country.

History:

Carol Danvers is a beautiful and highly capable young woman, who had managed to overcome gender-typing and excel in challenging military occupations. An ace fighter pilot and former officer in the US Air Force, She was also a former CIA agent when she was hired as the head of security for NASA.

When a dormant Kree sentry robot that NASA had been studying activated and went berserk, Noh-Verre an alien Kree super agent and one of Carol's co-workers in secret. She defeated the rampaging robot and saved her life. Carol and the "Captain Marvel" developed a relationship and was kidnapped by Yon-Rogg as an effort to lure Noh-Verre into a trap. The weapon he had used against Noh-Verre had exploded in the battle and she shielded Carol from the radiation with his body. This caused Carol to absorb much of his genetic template which became a perfect synthesis of Kree and Human genes.

Carol became Ms Marvel after gaining super powers from the explosion, soon becoming a powerful superhero in her own right. After several adventures Carol had an encounter with the mutant Rogue, who stole her powers and her memories. Professor X was able to restore the memories but she had lost her emotional connections with them. She joined the X-men while powerless as their ace pilot and intelligence operative. She was eventually captured by an alien race that accidentally unlocked more of her powers allowing her to gain godlike power as Binary.

As the cosmically-powered Binary, Carol journeyed the galaxy with the Starjammers for several years. After a fateful conflict in outer space, Carol's cosmic link to her Binary powers was severed and she returned to Earth, but with her original Ms. Marvel powers fully restored and augmented by having once been Binary. She changed her code name to Warbird and re-joined the Avengers. But then more tragedy struck, as the trauma of her recent career caught up with her and she turned to alcohol in order to cope. Her struggle with alcoholism led to her being expelled from the team, after which she did some serious soul-searching and eventually cured herself of her addiction.

She took part in many different adventures during this time. Later during the House of M, Carol realized her full potential as a superhero and became one of Earth's greatest champions. Though that reality was eventually reversed, Carol was one of the few heroes to remember the House of M events, and it inspired her to change her name back to Ms. Marvel and become the best hero she could possibly be.

She took part in the super hero civil war siding with Iron Man due to her deep ties with the US government. And was there for the protection of the earth from the skrull invasion, defeating osborn and his dark avengers, fighting off the chosen from the ancient Asgardian enemy and the recent the fight against the phoenix force and the tension with the x-men.

More recently while investigating various plane disappearances with Monica Rambeau, she absorbed her in energy state in order to destroy a giant robot. Back in New York, it's discovered that she had a brain lesion which would cause memory loss if she flew. While searching for her apparently disappeared friend Rose with Spider-Woman, Carol and Jessica were attacked by the Grapplers. After defeating them (but flying in order to do it) one of them revealed her that Rose was in Central Park. When Carol arrived, she and Thor battled two T-Rex and found Rose and a note with her apartment's direction. When she arrived with Spider-Woman, they discovered that someone had stolen a piece of the Psyche-Magnitron (the weapon that had resulted in her powers originally). A Brood ship suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and the Avengers, including Captain Marvel, battled them. Meanwhile.

Yon-Rogg was revealed to be the one who had stolen the Phsyche-Magnitron and solicited the Kree to transport it back to Hala. When they refused, he combined with the Phsyche-Magnitron and claimed that he was going to reform Earth. The Avengers defeated the Brood but unknown to them Kree Sentries appeared on Earth. The Sentries projected an energy field around New York when Rogg used Danvers's brain as a power source amplified by the field to recreate a Kree city in New York's sky. The Avengers planned to use Cap's shield to break the energy field, but Danvers instead flew to space to separate Rogg from his power source, which worked. Captain Marvel saved the city but suffered great brain damage in the process which cost her a big portion of his memories.

Powers:

  • Super Strength: Recent tests by Avengers scientist Hank Pym have shown that Captain Marvel's base strength level is still increasing. Even when not augmented by any additional energy, Carol can now lift 92 tons and strike with a similar level of force, and Pym has theorized that this is likely not her limit. Under extreme circumstances Carol has shown the ability to tap into her cosmic Binary powers once again, allowing her to reach over class-100 strength levels for brief periods. She has also shown an ability to achieve class-100 strength if she has absorbed a great deal of external energy.
  • Super Speed / Flight: Captain Marvel has the ability move at supersonic speeds, making her literally too fast for the human eye to follow. She can achieve speeds of at least Mach-3 during atmospheric flight and has shown the ability to hit even greater velocities when the need arises. At her Binary power level, she could achieve faster-than-light speed and journey across the galaxy under her own power.
  • Super Agility Captain Marvel possesses great superhuman agility and reflexes to compliment her superhuman speed. She can perform acrobatic feats far beyond that of the finest human athlete and easily evade bullet-speed projectiles.
  • Super Stamina Captain Marvel can exert herself at maximum effort for up to 24 hours before tiring. During the Skrull Empire's assault on New York, Ms. Marvel single-handedly fought off a massive Skrull invasion force for an entire day without rest, successfully keeping the city out of enemy hands until reinforcements arrived.
  • Invulnerability: Captain Marvel is impervious to most forms of damage and can absorb a tremendous amount of punishment without injury.
  • Energy Absorption: Captain Marvel has the ability to absorb a wide variety of energy and utilize it to further augment her own super-strength, speed, invulnerability, energy projection, and other powers. If empowered by enough energy, she can assume her Binary form again temporarily.
  • Energy Projection Carol can fire powerful concussion blasts of photon and stellar light energy from her hands and fingertips.
  • Regeneration: In the event that Captain Marvel suffers an attack that is actually powerful enough to overload both her invulnerability and her energy absorption power, she possesses a super-healing factor and is able to quickly regenerate from almost any injury. Her healing rate is accelerated even further if she is able to absorb and utilize external energy to aid in the process.
  • Danger Sense: Carol has a seventh sense that allows her to subconsciously predict an opponent's attacks before they make them, greatly enhancing her fighting and tactical prowess in battle.
  • Minor Molecular Control: Captain Marvel possesses a limited degree of molecular control, which she can use to transform regular clothing into her Captain Marvel costume and vice versa.
  • Cosmic Awareness: As Binary, Carol possessed cosmic awareness, much like that of the Silver Surfer. She could visually perceive all types of energy patterns and was instantly aware of any significant disruptions in space. Like her other Binary abilities, her cosmic awareness can re-emerge under the right circumstances.

Abilities:

  • Experienced Spy: Carol is an experienced spy, having worked various undercover operations for the CIA and NASA.
  • Multilingual: Carol is fluent in English, Russian, German and Japanese, as well as Kree, and Shi'ar languages. She speaks passable Rajaki and has a limited vocabulary in many other languages.
  • Culture Knowledge: Carol has spent a long time traveling both the Earth and the Galaxy, in that time she has gathered knowledge on many different races and cultures.
  • Expert Pilot: Carol is an accomplished pilot, having extensive experience with USAF planes as well as with Kree, Shi'ar and other alien starships.
  • Trained Combatant: Her advanced military training along with her Kree warrior skills naturally makes her a very dangerous hand-to-hand fighter. When used in combination with her many superhuman powers, she becomes a truly formidable adversary.
  • Talented Journalist: She had been a freelance journalist for some time and was also a magazine editor in New York. She is an accomplished author and has published several books, including a popular science-fiction novel based on her deep space adventures with the Starjammers.

Weaknesses

  • Lost Memories: Due to the recent loss of her memories, she rather doesnt remember much of anyone. She has since done some of the research, but for her most of the people are strangers and she ends up faking a lot of her trust and friendship.
  • Mind Control Captain Marvel is just as susceptible as others to mind control.

Equipment: Captain Marvel doesnt really use much in the way of equipment, though will occasionally use a hover bike or other vehicle for transportation.

Personality:
Carol is a brilliant and fiercely independent woman with a strong willpower. She pursues her goals and dreams through any adversity. She is extremely self reliant and hard working. She is quite confrontations if someone crosses her line and will challenge anyone. She is sometimes seen to make choices thought of as cold and uncaring, but she cares quite deeply about others and has otherwise been trained to think fast on how to deal with emergency situations. She is often seen as outspoken, direct and very assertive.

Known Enemies: Brood, Deathbird, MODOK, Moonstone, Mistique, Yon-Rogg (various avengery villains)

Elven Sex Goddess

#3
Thanks for the invite Lois.  Sorry didn't get back sooner.  As I was debating what character to play.  I have decided to play Hepzibah from the Starjammers, as she actually spent time on earth and at Xavier's institute.  Also there is a connection between her and Captain Marvel.  With both having been part of Starjammers.  Also both are expert pilots another thing in common.  Add in the fact besides affiliation with the Starjammers,  she also been affiliated with the X-Men and X-Force.

Character Name:  Hepzibah
Played By:
  Elven Sex Goddess
Real Name:  Unpronounceable
Age: Mid twenties
Sexual Orientation:  Straight
Height:  5'6"
Weight:  120lbs
Affiliation:  Starjammers, X-Men, X-Force
Face Claim:  Original ("I am me and no one else.")

Appearance:  Hepzibah hair is white with black.  Her eyes green, skin white.  She also has these alien features fine, white fur. Tail, fangs, claws, pointed ears, vertical pupils such as a cat's eyes.

History:  Hepzibah was born on the planet Tryl'sart, while under Shi'ar Imperial Rule. She had also spent some time in the prison on the planet Alsibar, where she met Corsair for the first time.

While Corsair was imprisoned by the authority of the then Shi'ar Emperor D'Ken, brother of Deathbird and Lilandra of the Royal House of Neramani, Hepzibah, with the help of several other prisoners who would later form the Starjammers (Raza Longknife, and Ch'od), aided Corsair in their mutual escape from Shi'ar prison. Corsair won the respect of the trio (becoming their leader) and eventually the heart of Hepzibah, becoming her lover.

Hepzibah and the Starjammers teamed up with X-Men on multiple occasions. In one such occurrence, Hepzibah and the Starjammers helped the New Mutants neutralize the threat of Magus. Hepzibah also aided the Hulk in rescuing some of the Hulk's people from the alien forces of Troyjan. The Silver Surfer personally saved her life, an incident which led her to believe she simply intimidated the forces threatening her.

Recently, after Corsair reunited with his son Havok and the Starjammers participated in a conflict between Lilandra's and D'Ken's forces, Corsair was killed by his own son Vulcan. Hepzibah raided the X-Men's stolen Shi'ar ship's weapons locker and was ready to take vengeance on Vulcan. However, she was forced to return with the re-powered Professor Xavier, Warpath, Darwin, and Nightcrawler when Lilandra, hoping to save her beloved Xavier from death and protect some of the X-Men (believing that the battle was not going well) locked the ship into a jump course for Earth. Consequently, Hepzibah, separated from her fellow Starjammers, is currently residing with the X-Men on Earth, with no foreseeable way to return to Shi'ar space to help the Starjammers and Lilandra continue to fight Vulcan.

Since she was stuck on Earth and had nowhere else to go, Hepzibah joined Professor X's team of X-Men. She and Warpath created a bond of sorts, with Hepzibah remarking that his presence helped her through her mourning for Corsair. She was seen in an altered standard X-Uniform entering the Morlock Tunnels alongside Warpath, Storm, and Caliban.

Hepzibah was one of the X-Men who answered Stepford Cuckoos call for help when the Hulk attacked Professor Xavier. She flew the Blackbird on a collision course towards the Hulk, though without any effect.

When Wolverine formed a new X-Force team, Hepzibah joined the team for a time. Together with the X-Men, she moved to San Francisco and then to Utopia.

Recently she should have been deported from the Earth by SWORD's order, but after Gyrich was deprived of his director's post, his orders were canceled, and Hepzibah, along with others aliens could stay on Earth. So she returned to Utopia.

Its been rumored that Hepzibah is now romantically linked to the X-Men Warpath.

Powers:

Hepzibah is a Mephitisoid, a member of a skunk-like species long dominated by the avian Shi'ar.

Superhuman Agility: Her agility is beyond or equal to the natural limits of the finest human athletes.

Superhuman Reflexes: She reacts at speeds equal to or beyond the natural limits of the finest human athletes.

Superhumanly Acute Senses:

Hyperosmia: She has a hyper-keen sense of smell.
Night Vision: She superhumanly acute night vision.

Pheromone Manipulation: She can emit specific mind/mood-altering pheromones at will.

Abilities:

Hepzibah is a brilliant natural athlete and acrobat, and skilled hand-to-hand combatant, trained in various forms of armed and unarmed combat known in the Shi'ar galaxy. She is also an expert marksman, and is knowledgeable in the operation of a wide variety of ship-sized weaponry. She is also skilled in flying planes such as the Blackbird, she once flew it on a collision course towards the Hulk.

Strength level:

Hepzibah has the strength of a normal female Mephitisoid who engages in regular intensive exercise.

Weapons:

Various Shi'ar energy weapons

Personality:  Hepzibah is a survivor, yet a confident female.  She is loyal to her friends.  Has a moral compass that is good.  She is a romantic at heart.  That in human terms; hopes to be swept of her feet with being in love.  Through with the loss of Corsair who she loved deeply.   Her heart had a hole and deep ache of loss.  Still she has gone on, continued living.  Showing a force of strong will in determination.   An as stated in her history,  it is rumored that she is involved romantically with Warpath.

A Notable Quote:  "Chris, Shi'ar, they were! Shi'ar not friends anymore... If ever were! Turned, Lilandra has! Forget you how we met? ...In slave pits of Chandilar! Abducted you from Earth, wife by Lilandra's brother, Majestor D'Ken, killed...me, for 'terrorism' in there. Raza, his race exterminated. Ch'od's, too. The whole reason we rescuing Kree is because been there we. Suffered that."

Known Enemies:
  Bad guys, evil doers.

Hepzibah own input:  "Corsair could not pronounce my real name and named me Hepzibah.  Which means 'my delight is in her' in Hebrew. She was a queen and the mother of Manasseh in the Old Testament."

I'll get you a Captain America (Sam Wilson) shortly, lois.

vatovie

I'll join but I would really like a character template before I make any character. Otherwise this will take hours.

TheVillain

Might throw up a Spider-Man. Just hammering out some ideas with Lois first.
My O/O's / My A/A's / My Ideas
Update - Apologies to all my partners, real life is exploding and I've gotten far behind.

TheVillain

Well, I did have an idea. Let's see how this works.

Player Name: TheVillain

Character Name: Peter Benjamin Parker, "Tiger", "Little Man", "Puny Parker", "Bookworm"

Nom De Guerre: Spider-Man

[Has answered to or will also answer to Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the Amazing Spider-Man, the Sensational Spider-Man, the Spectacular Spider-Man, Spidey, Webhead, Webslinger, Wall-crawler, the Amazing Octo-Spidey, Bag-Man, Captain Universe, Dusk, Hornet, Mad Dog #336, Man-Spider, Prodigy, Ricochet, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Hulk, and Spider-Phoenix]

Sex: Male

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 167 lbs

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Hazel

Age: 29

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Ons: Women with a bit of curve too them. Spirited, brave. A lady with some class to her. And yes, those tight fitting uniforms the super-ladies wear does help. As for the bedroom he dabbles in a bit of bondage and is a bit kinkier then one would imagine a science geek would be, but ultimately he feels that sexuality is something that should be shared. Also, orgasms- lots of orgasms all around.

It should also be mentioned that while he will admit to temptation, he was very much in love with and exclusive to his wife- the Award-Winning Broadway Actress and Super-Model Mary Jane Watson-Parker. Saying it like that it makes sense. Hear death early in the End of Days devastated him completely. But he's started to get back up.

Offs: People dying when he has the ability to save them. Villainy and hurting people. Bird Poop. Sowing his costume back together. When those street pretzels and hot dogs are older then the guy says they are.

Place of Birth: Forest Hills, New York

Known Relatives: Mary Jane Watson-Parker (Wife, Deceased), Richard Parker (Father, Deceased), Mary Parker (Mother, Deceased), Benjamin Parker (Uncle, Deceased), May Parker (Aunt Deceased), Will Fitzpatrick (Grandfather, Deceased). Say it like that it sounds super-depressing.

Current Occupation: None but formerly a Scientist,Inventor,Freelance Photographer, and Graduate Student- PhD in Biophysics and Biochemistry

Current Place of Residence: Hulkland

Affiliations: Loose connections with Avengers, the Secret Defenders, the "New Fantastic Four", the Outlaws

Origin of Powers: Some of Spider-Man's powers come from Peter Parker's scientific genius, such as his webs and webshooters. However, the majority of his powers came from being bitten by a spider that had passed through the beam of an experimental particle accelerator.

Strength Level: Spider-Man can lift about 10 tons of weight over his head in optimum conditions.

Powers: Spider-Man can cling to most surfaces, has approximately Class 10 superhuman strength, and is roughly 15 times as agile as a regular human being. The combination of his resulting superhuman acrobatic prowess and his web-slinging enables for rabid transit between places in an environment with many web-swinging attachment points such as an Urban one. Spider-Man also possesses a sort of sixth 'danger' sense that has been dubbed 'Spider-Sense' that is linked with his superhuman kinesthetics allowing for avoiding most injuries. The rumors that he also has organic web-spinners, poisonous stingers, consumes human blood, and the ability to talk to spiders are all wildly unfounded.

Abilities: Peter is an accomplished Scientist, Inventor, and Photographer.

Equipment: Over the years Spider-Man has constructed a wide range of devices to help with his crime-fighting. This includes but isn't limited to twin web-shooters, spare web cartridges under his belt, spider-tracers attuned to his spider-sense, a belt-mounted signal light, and a compact camera. The webshooters come in metal and hard plastic varieties, can detect low web fluid levels, and propel tracers.

Fighting Skill: Class 5 (Has demonstrably shown enough combat prowess to easily defeat UFC fighters and professional wrestlers, and with his powers is considered more then a match for the greatest martial artists on the planet.)

Limitations:
The Mission: Spider-Man is psychologically fixated on the idea that with great power comes great responsibility. As a result he'll 'gladly' charge into battle with far stronger opponents if he thinks lives are at stake. He let the mission slip for a while with the loss of MJ but he's starting to take it back.
Skin-Tight Suit: While he honestly made the suit so tight to assist with motion and to make it easy to covertly transport, Spider-Man suit and physique has proven to be rather distracting to women- enemies and allies alike. Sometimes it works a little too well, he is a happily married man.
Wise-Cracker: Something about the Mask brings out the confident comedian in Spider-Man. Wise Cracks Galore. He thinks he's funny and that he's goading his opponents into making mistakes- mostly he's just annoying.

Unusual Features: You mean besides being a grown man running around in a bug-themed skin-tight costume in New York? Well there is the occasional 'Spider-Boner' joke about how happy a 'Mrs. Spider-Man' would be in the Culture part of the papers but that's not really 'unusual' so much as 'crude, but completely natural'.

Appearance: Pete's never been the kind of guy whose been good at getting his hands on Money. The gag that a man's fashion sense will immediately improve dramatically after getting married was completely true in Pete's case. Usually along the lines of lose jeans, a t-shirt or a button up shirt, very geek. When there's no reason to expect anything but relaxation it's usually whatever is comfortable. Otherwise he's been described as a late bloomer, a nerdy kid who grew up a bit into a not bad looking guy- if the common opinion was that MJ married beneath her in certain society circles.

Personality: Peter Parker is first and foremost two things, a huge nerd is one and a responsible one second. He truly believes that with great power comes great responsibility and if he can help it that means nobody is going to die on his watch. Not if he can help it.  Deeply loyal to family and friends if sometimes they don't realize it thanks to the mask. A keen scientific mind underlays most of his actions and he's considered absolutely brilliant if always late for class. He was deeply in love with his not-so-blushing bride and he tried to be supportive of her in her career as well, and in full honestly she was the main breadwinner anyway. She died though, early in the End of Days crisis. Pete was heartbroken. Still is really, but he's had 2 years to morn and he's starting to rise again.

History: Not bad for a Science Geek from Queens, eh? Peter Parker was born the son Richard and Mary Parker, a pair of government spies who died in a plane crash when he was very young. Fortunately he was adopted by his Aunt and Uncle, May and Ben. He'd come to think of them as his real parents if not biologically.

Growing up Peter would be discovered to be amazingly gifted in terms of academics and intellectual prowess- and in little else. A genius, but socially awkward with no athletic skill to speak of making him an easy target for bullies. The first of the four days that would shape Pete's world happened one day when he was 15. He had hoped to impress a female classmate with tickets to a demonstration on particle physics. She reacted about how you'd expect, but he went anyway. What nobody realized was that a tiny spider had descended into the path of the particle stream, and in its dying moments bit Peter Parker.

The world thinks Peter was overexcited by the demonstration or coming down with the flu at the time, but after those few days of bedrest Pete woke up to realize that he had undergone incredible changes. He was stronger, faster, way more agile, not to mention he didn't need glasses anymore.

Seeing an opportunity to help with the financial situation of his Aunt and Uncle, Pete originally tried to cash in on his powers. Most famously at open try outs for a local wrestling circuit where he handily defeated the professional wrestler Crusher Hogan for a cash prize. Unfortunately, when the manager skimped some of the money from him Pete got 'revenge' by watching and doing nothing when a bugler robbed the box office. He'd regret that forever, as later as that same burglar would shot and kill his Uncle Ben. That would be the second important day in Peter's life, the day when it was truly driven home that with great power comes great responsibility. Instead of becoming the next wrestling sensation, Pete became your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and patrolled NYC as a local superhero.

That was 14 years ago. 12 years of growing up and experience, 12 years of wisecracks, 12 years of getting a rather impressive gallery of villains, 12 years of selling pictures of his alter ego to J. Jonah Jameson to try and pay the bills for him and his Aunt, 12 years of being the guy that was there when someone needed it as much as he could. Then 2 years of hell, without Her.

It wasn't easy, juggling being a superhero with high school, then college, and then grad school. Not to mention 12 years of his personal life- thank god that the infamous Parker luck doesn't seem to apply to women. He'd always be the first to admit that he had a knack for landing girlfriends that by all rights should of been out of his league. At one point that included one of his villains, a thief known as the Black Cat. The relationship didn't work out but he likes to think he helped get her over to the side of the angels.

The third day that changed his life forever was the day he and Mary Jane Watson said 'I do'. Juggling being a Superhero, a Grad Student, and a Husband had been a challenge to say the least. Things were taking an interesting turn with his dissertation work starting, his wife's career as an actress and model really taking off, talk of possible children later, and the start of a formal invite to the Avengers. MJ had called it 'Broadway, for the Tights Crowd'.

The 4th day was the End of Days, the day he lost Her. MJ died early in the crisis. In a way, that was a blessing - she never saw how bad it got. Pete and MJ had tried to run to the relative safety of California but that wouldn't last with Hulkland. He lost his soulmate, and it took time to get over her.

But time is up. A call for heroes sounding, he has to get back up. The whole damn neighborhood's gone to hell, and maybe it's time for the Web of Spider-Man to return. A few War Lords would really love that...

I might be willing to take up Warpath if nobody minds.... I had him set up at one point, but never really got to use him...

Warpath would be a great addition.

I was picturing that Pete is in San Francisco, or the remains therein. There's a building or two with webbing, places where he lets the Spider in him do the thinking. Most of the time he's in the dark, waiting on his web...

I was going to do Sam Wilson cap, but didn't feel like I could do him justice, and we need a mutant on this team - So i got the ultimate mutant badass, my favorite X-Man of all, the much-maligned and oft-underestimated Cyclops. Note that this version doesn't need the visors to contain his optic blasts anymore, but they do help him shape the blasts more precisely.

Player Name: Eternaldarkness
Superhero/villain: Superhero
Real Name: Scott Summers
Age: Mid-30's
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Base of Operations: Hulkland
Powers:
Optic Blast
Cyclops possesses the mutant ability to project a powerful beam of concussive, ruby-colored force from his eyes. Cyclops's powers were originally believed to be ambient energies (such as solar radiation, photons, and cosmic rays) absorbed and metabolized by his body into concussive blasts that are released from his eyes. However, the energy supply of his optic blasts are later revealed to originate from a non-Einsteinian universe that opens up whenever he uses his optic blasts. Cyclops's eyes not only are organs that utilizes the visible spectrum of light to see the world around it.

Cyclops's mind has a particular psionic field that is attuned to the forces that maintain the apertures that have taken the place of his eyes. Because his mind's psionic field envelops his body, it automatically shunts the other-dimensional particles back into their point of origin when they collide with his body. Thus, his body is protected from the effects of the particles, and even the thin membrane of his eyelids is sufficient to block the emission of energy. The synthetic ruby quartz crystal used to fashion the lenses of Cyclops's eyeglasses and visor is resonant to his minds' psionic field and is similarly protected.

The width of Cyclops's eye-blasts seems to be focused by his mind's psionic field with the same autonomic function that regulated his original eyes' ability to focus. As Cyclops focuses, the size of the aperture changes and thus act as a valve to control the flow of particles and beam's relative power. The height of Cyclops's eye-blast is controlled by his visor's adjustable slit. His narrowest beam, about the diameter of a pencil at a distance of 4 feet has a force of about two pounds per square inch. His broadest beam, about 90 feet across at a distance of fifty feet, has a force of about 10 pounds per square inch. His most powerful eye-blast is a beam four feet across which, at a distance of 50 feet, has a force of 500 pounds per square inch. The maximum angular measurement of Cyclops's eye-blast is equivalent to a wide-angle 35mm camera lens field of view (90 degrees measured diagonally, or the angle subtended by holding a magazine's pages spread open, upright at 9.5 inches from your eyes). The minimum angular measurement is equivalent to the angle that the thickness of a pencil would subtend at 4 feet (3.5 degrees, about a quarter of an inch viewed at 4 feet). The beam's effective range is about 2,000 feet, at which point a 1-inch beam has spread out to 10 feet square, and then has a pressure of .38 pounds per square inch. Cyclops's maximum force is sufficient to tip over a filled 5,000 gallon tank at a distance of 20 feet, or puncture a 1-inch carbon-steel plate at a distance of 2 feet.

The extra dimensional supply of energy for Cyclops's eye-blast is practically infinite. Thus, so long as Cyclops's psionic field is active (which is constant), there is the potential to emit energy. The only limit to the eye-blast is the mental fatigue of focusing constantly. After about 15 minute of constant usage, the psionic field subsides and allows only a slight leakage of energy to pass through the aperture. Cyclops's metabolism will recover sufficiently for him to continue in about an additional 15 minutes.

The maximum force of Cyclops' optic blasts are unknown, but a commonly given description is that he can "punch holes through mountains", and he has been shown to rupture a half-inch thick carbon steel plate. During a particular battle, Scott says that he hit Cain Marko (a.k.a. the Juggernaut) with enough power to split a small planet in half, though he may have been indulging in hyperbole. In the Age of Apocalypse dimension, his beams can cut through Adamantium, a previously indestructible metal. In the mainstream continuity of the Marvel Universe, it has also been implied that Cyclops only utilizes a fraction of the energies at his disposal. During the Civil War: X-Men story arc, Cyclops is controlled by another mutant to use his powers at their full magnitude. When directed at the energy-absorbing mutant Bishop, Cyclops was able to overload Bishop's powers in a matter of seconds. When Iron Man measured Cyclops's power while he was powering Bishop, he found the energy output was well over 2 gigawatts, larger than a large nuclear reactor.

Cyclops once fought The Hulk, using a beam blast to stop him, refusing to let the Hulk take Professor Xavier. While it peels off some of the Hulk's skin, he was able to walk towards Cyclops and clench his entire face, effectively containing the blast. His powers have grown since then, and in his second, more recent battle against the Hulk (Bruce banner) as well as several other Hulks, he was able to easily dispatch the lesser hulks with a single optic blast and halt banners forward movement entirely, and nearly stripped Banner down to a skeleton.

Spatial Awareness
Cyclops possesses an uncanny sense of trigonometry, in this sense used to describe his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. Cyclops has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. This is commonly called a "banked shot" when applied to this talent. Cyclops has been observed causing beams to reflect from over a dozen surfaces in the course of one blast, and still hit his intended target accurately. It is his sense of superhumanly enhanced spatial awareness that allows him to perform these feats as well.

Energy Resistance
Cyclops is resistant to the effects of his own powers. This is linked to him being capable of withstanding his brother's ability with no ill effects. This is a result of their close genetics, a quirk of mutant genetics that is common among siblings.

Energy Field
As a result of exposure to numerous energetic forces over his lifetime, including the phoenix force, Cyclops' has undergone a secondary mutation that causes his body to constantly emit low levels of force in waves, which increases his resistance to all forms of injury greatly and causes him to glow the same bright red color as his optic blasts. He can focus on this power, channeling the extradimensional energy that normally fuels his optic blasts into it to further enhance his physical durability such that he can withstand blows up to and including a punch from an enraged hulk before his energy supply is depleted, though he cannot also utilize his optic blasts while empowering his protective shield in this way.

Abilities
Expert Pilot: Cyclops is an expert pilot of fixed-wing aircraft, a skill he appears to have inherited from his father. It has also been implied that his trigonometric sense improves his abilities in the air.

Master Strategist and Tactician: Cyclops has spent most of his superhero career as the leader of either the X-Men or X-Factor and has developed exceptional leadership skills. It is notable that regardless of their general attitude towards him, all of the X-Men tend to obey his orders in battle - because they know that he is usually right.

Expert Martial Artist: Cyclops also has extensive training in martial arts and unarmed combat, holding black belts in judo and aikido. His level of skill is sufficient to defeat six normal men with his eyes closed, and he has in the past held his own against dangerous enemies such as Wolverine and Ghost Rider.

Telepathic Resistance: Years of being in intimate situations with telepaths have allowed Cyclops to hone his mind to the point where he can resist telepathic intrusion and withhold certain information from high level telepaths.

Strength level
Cyclops possesses the strength of a normal human male who engages in intensive regular exercise and hence is able to press lift at least his own body-weight.

Weaknesses:
Genetic Flaw: Cyclops is not immune to Vulcan's powers like he is to Havok's.

History: With the death of Professor Xavier, Cyclops became the leader of the X-Men in his mentors place, and for the last few years he has traveled across the six territories fighting a guerilla war against the villains, refusing to stand by and accept their rule. His views have changed since the event, and he no longer considers mutant rights to be the most important thing, realizing that with the villains in charge noone is truly free or has any rights. Cyclops is completely unwelcome in the mutant forbidden quarter, as the remaining X-Men consider him a threat to their safety. With Storm long-since retreated to Wakanda, cyclops is now the oldest Still-living original X-Man, and his skill and power are legendary as is his rivalry with Wolverine.

Activity: Since the Event, Cyclops has been leading a small group of still-free superhumans against the villainous rulers of north america, raiding internment camps and attacking key strategic targets. Cyclops has a bounty on his head, and is wanted dead or alive - preferrably dead- in all six territories.

Equipment:
Cyclops' Visor
Once worn to prevent random power discharge but now used to more precisely shape his optic beams, scotts visor is lined with powdered ruby quartz crystal. It incorporates two longitudinally mounted flat lenses which can lever inward providing a constantly variable exit slot of 0 inches to .79 inches in height and a constant width of 5.7 inches. The inverted clam-shell mechanism is operated by a twin system of miniature electrical motors. As a safety factor their is a constant positive closing pressure provided by springs. The mask itself is made of high-impact plastic. There is an overriding finger-operated control mechanism on either side of the mask, and normal operation is through a flat micro-switch installed in the thumb of either glove.

Cyclops also has ruby quartz sunglasses for times when he needs to be more low-key.

Kevlar Body Armor. In lieu of his x-suit, cyclops wears standard military-issue kevlar body armor designed to reduce harm from ballistic and energy weapons. The armor is a chest -covering piece with impact and energy-resistant hard plastic trauma plates and gloves that contain the micro-switches which he can use to control his visor and knuckles reinforced with the same hard plastics as his body armor to enhance his striking power.

Appearance: Scott Summers is an imposing figure, at 6'3" tall with a fit, muscular body, brown hair and eyes and his trademark ruby-quartz visor or sunglasses. The expression on his handsome face is nearly always one of total seriousness.

Celeb Visual: James Marsden

Sasquatch421

I'll get Warpath up at some point today... I think I'm going to get stuck going into town in a bit.

Sasquatch421

Name: James Proudstar/ Warpath
Age: 29
Race: Native American/ Apache
Height: 7'2"
Weight: 350 lbs.
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Powers:
Superhumanly Acute Senses: Warpath's senses of sight and hearing are enhanced to levels beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. He is able to see, with perfect clarity, at much greater distances than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity, even in near-total darkness. His hearing is similarly heightened, enabling him to both hear sounds that ordinary human's can't and sounds that they can detect but at much greater distances.

Superhuman Strength: Currently Warpath possesses some degree of superhuman strength, though the exact amount of weight he can lift isn't known. It seems the activation and removal of the High Evolutionary's effect had "rebooted" the genetic codes of mutant kind, allowing some of X-Force to access aspects of their mutation that were previously unknown to them. In Jimmy's case, it turned out that he had apparently been limiting himself to the abilities of his late brother but, under Wisdom's training, his strength level apparently increased to some degree and he developed the power to fly under his own command. Prior to the High Evolutionary temporarily using his advanced technology to remove the powers of every mutant on Earth, Warpath was strong enough to lift about 75 tons and had the potential of someday lifting over 90 tons.

Superhuman Speed: Despite his great size, Warpath is capable of running and moving at speeds much greater than even the finest human athlete. At his peak, Warpath is capable of running at speeds up to 100 miles per hour.

Superhuman Stamina: Warpath's physical stamina is such that he possesses greater physical stamina than any ordinary human and can exert himself at his peak for up to 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood began to impair him.

Superhuman Durability: Warpath's body is harder and more resistant to certain types of injury than the body of an ordinary human. For instance, he can withstand the force generated by great impacts. He can withstand impact forces, such as falling from several stories, being hit by certain level energy blasts, and being struck by a superhumanly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human. He can withstand high caliber bullets, exposure to temperature extremes, vastly powerful energy blasts from the likes of Exodus, and great impact forces such as being repeatedly punched by the Juggernaut without being hurt.

Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Warpath's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Warpath's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

Apache Shaman Abilities: Ghost Rider activated the abilities within James, in order to help him fight the Demon Bear. He could perceive the creature's wounds and the resulting spirit energy when it was destroyed.

Abilities: Warpath is a formidable combatant, both armed and unarmed. He is also an expert tracker and hunter, even without the aid of his superhuman senses.

Equipment: A pair of Vibranium Bowie knives given to him by Storm and Black Panther.

Biography:

    Early Years

James Proudstar was born on the Apache reservation in Camp Verde, Arizona. As a young boy, James idolized his older brother, John Proudstar, and when John returned from a stint in the Marines, James was overjoyed to see him again. Unfortunately, their mother revealed to the family that she had cancer, prompting a visit to an amusement park, where James had his fortune told to him, by none other than Destiny, though James thought she was a fraud. Then, James secretly accompanied John, when he infiltrated Arroyo labs, the clinic that was running tests on their reservation's people and treating them for cancer. James was discovered by Dr. Edwin Martynec, who revealed himself to be a mutated werewolf. The brothers learned that Dr. Martynec was faking the cancer diagnoses, so he could irradiate his patients and observe the results.

John was soon recruited to the X-Men and was killed on one of the team's first missions. James blamed the X-Men for his brother's death and promised to murder its founder, Professor Charles Xavier. James soon manifested his own mutation, similar to his brothers'.

   Hellions

James soon joined the Hellions, at the Massachusetts Academy, under the leadership of The White Queen, where he was tutored, by the White Queen, and trained in the use of his powers. James first encountered the New Mutants, after the White Queen invited Doug Ramsey to her school and she captured Kitty Pride and Doug. Emma Frost was unaware that Kitty and Magik shared a rapport and the New Mutants came to their rescue. James later donned his brother's costume and kidnapped the X-Man Banshee, to draw the team to Cheyenne Mountain, where his brother John had been killed. Everything was going just as planned for him, but at the last second, James couldn't bring himself to kill Professor X. Professor X, eventually, convinced Thunderbird that his brother died a hero's death and James released them, stating Professor Xavier was an honorable man. Professor X offered James membership into the New Mutants, but he declined. Instead, James rejoined the Hellions and eventually became the leader.

   Rivalry

The Hellions and New Mutants began a rivalry, which both headmasters slightly encouraged, but after the New Mutants were sent to the Massachusetts Academy, James gained a respect for his rivals and a crush on their leader, Dani Moonstar. The New Mutants were returned to the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and later Magneto dressed them elegantly and they all attended a Hellfire Club event, where James befriended the honorable Dani. The pair began to search for Wolfsbane and Catseye, who had run-off in their lycan forms. The event turned sour for the rest of the New Mutants after finding Cypher, drunk, in a bed with Roulette, until Cannonball suggested another duel between the two teams. The duel was for both teams to hunt down the person responsible for selling a member of the Hellfire Club a forged statue of Selene and the losers were to apologize, publicly, for any insults and take the rap for any trouble with their teachers before sunrise. After having Illyana Rasputin spy on the Hellions, through a scrying glass on Limbo, the New Mutants learned that Viper and the Silver Samurai were behind the forgery and decided to intercept the villains, before the Hellions. Unknown to the New Mutants, Thunderbird assumed that they would spy on the Hellions and led them to the henchmen of the villains, while the Hellions captured Viper and Silver Samurai, winning the competition. Upon returning to the Hellfire Club, while James was positioned to kiss Dani, Tessa arrived with a letter from Xi'an Coy Manh, for Dani. After hearing of an animal creature that was being mistreated after capture, Emma allowed the Hellions to participate in a contest with the New Mutants to abduct Bird Brain, where Thunderbird was influenced, by Empath, to admit his crush on Dani and the New Mutants emerged victorious.

   X-Force

James soon felt like he did not fit in with the Hellions and quit, and returned to the Apache reservation in Camp Verde, Arizona. Cable soon met with James and offered him membership into his New Mutants, but he declined, as he enjoyed staying at the reservation. When James returned, he found the entire tribe murdered, and a Hellfire Club agent's mask left behind. James then decided to join the New Mutants, from his newly formed vendetta against the Hellfire Club and Emma, in particular.

Under Cable's leadership, the New Mutants no longer associated with the X-Men and James took on the codename Warpath. Alongside X-Force, he fought the M.L.F., the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants led by Toad, and many other villains that crossed their paths. When James later met Emma again, she claimed she had no ties to the killings of his tribe.

When Cable moved X-Force back to the X-Mansion, he tried to get Warpath to train with a bo staff, which he did for a short time, but never used in action. By this time, Warpath was experiencing an increase in sensory awareness and strength that allowed him to perform feats he never imagined before, such as run at 100 MPH and climb walls by digging his fingers into the concrete. One night, he received a message regarding the massacre's perpetrators and ran to New York, where Risque introduced herself to him from the shadows, planted a kiss on his lips and left.

Then, when Selene made her move against the X-Ternals, killing those who remained, Warpath sensed her presence in Gideon's apartment and climbed the building to find it. He was able to track Selene, but fell victim to her spells and was knocked out. Fortunately, Risque arrived and pulled James out before Selene could drain his life. Risque took James to Florida to recuperate and they fell for each other. Finally, Jimmy wanted to get back to his friends, and the duo arrived just in time to defend X-Man from Mister Sinister. Warpath intended to remain at the Mansion, but after being confronted by the Blob and Mimic in NYC, Risque finally fulfilled her "mission" by slipping a sleeping pill into Jimmy's drink and brought him to Sledge in Detroit.

Sledge had no malicious intent, but rather offered James the location of his tribesman Michael Whitecloud, who had somehow survived the massacre on the reservation. In return, he asked Warpath to enter a dimensional gateway and retrieve the person who was trapped there. That person ended up being the Vanisher, and James rocketed him out of the dimension with his vacuum suit's jetpack. As a result of this experience (in which he almost ended up trapped forever telling stories to the dimension's natives), James began to question his constant searching for vengeance and his focus on the past. James got Whitecloud's location from Sledge and went to see him with Siryn. Whitecloud told Warpath the more about the massacre and how he escaped and how to access the files he stole from the Arroyo Institute, which was the reason for the destruction of Camp Verde. However, Whitecloud's head exploded before he could reveal the names of those who sponsored the massacre. James retrieved the documents, but was ambushed and captured to Martin Edwards (Edwin Martynec), who was waiting for him. Martynec revealed that he had been working for Stryfe to create mutated soldiers and experimented on the people at Camp Verde, but the escape of one of his doctors and one of his creations necessitated the massacre as a cover up. Siryn and Warpath broke free but Martynec injected James with a drug and killed him.

In a hell dimension, Warpath was confronted by Stryfe, who wanted to force him into despair, which would allow Stryfe to be resurrected by Blackheart. Fortunately, Jimmy was able to connect with Siryn, who was doing CPR on him. Also, Valkyrie (Brunnhilde), brought the rest of X-Force to the hell dimension to fight for Jimmy's soul, and they won, returning Jimmy to life.

Under Pete Wisdom's tutelage, James learned how to use his enhanced abilities to do things he never thought of, like fly. Exactly how he manipulated his power to do this is still unknown. James remained with X-Force through Wisdom's tenure and through one faking of the team's death. However, when X-Force came upon a top-secret plot to use alien technology to recreate a planet-moving engine, they apparently could not stop the bio-engineered defenders of the facility. James and his teammates (except Domino) were presumed dead following the explosion they set off, leveling the alien tech base. However, they soon appeared at a press conference for the new team calling itself X-Force, and got into a fight with the other mutants over naming rights.

Shortly thereafter, James was recruited into the Mumbai, India office of the X-Corporation. When Professor X came to visit, James saved his life from assassination by the deranged Lilandra. He worked with former teammate Feral, her sister Thornn, and Sunfire. Before receiving his X-Corporation uniform, he was wearing his brother's old costume, which the Indian public adored.

   X-Men

As a result of the Scarlet Witch's actions during the "House of M" incident, nearly all of the mutants in the entire world were stripped of their powers, although James retained his powers. As a result of the loss of mutants, Cyclops shut down all of the X-Corporation offices and most of the X-Corporation employees were sent to the Xavier Institute. Warpath was one of the many, including his former Hellion teammate, Empath. James did not enjoy his stay as it reminded him of a reservation he grew up in. While living on the Xavier grounds, James rekindled his friendship with former teammate Caliban who was also staying on the grounds. He also was given Vibranium Knives as a gift from Storm and the Black Panther.

Shortly afterwards, he joined the ranks of the X-Men for the first time, at Professor X's request. Along with Professor X, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, Havok, Darwin, and Polaris, he journeyed into space to track down Vulcan. He showed his superb fighting prowess while fighting cyborg drones as the X-Men attempted to commandeer a Shi'ar ship. During the final fight with Vulcan, Warpath fought bravely and in the end was on the spaceship with half of the team when Lilandra sent it back to Earth.

Back on Earth, Warpath was training with Hepzibah when they came across Sentinels attacking a "trespasser", who turned out to be Caliban. Nightcrawler teleported Caliban away to the infirmary and Warpath threatened the Sentinel until Storm showed up putting the Sentinel pilot in an awkward situation.

Caliban soon told them of Leech's kidnapping, and Masque's return. The X-Men journeyed to the Morlock Tunnels, and Warpath fought an alligator along the way. Caliban explained that the alligators were their protectors and a girl could talk to them, but Warpath told him that she was gone and they were not listening anymore. While wrestling it, he was thrown through a wall, and on the other side found cryptic writings of Qwerty. They soon found where Leech was taken, and saved him while defeating renegade Morlocks in the process.

   The New X-Force

Warpath, along with Hepzibah, Caliban, Wolfsbane, X-23, and leader Wolverine formed a new X-Force designed to personally do the extreme tasks the X-Men would not normally be associated with. During Messiah Complex, Caliban sacrificed his life to save James' by jumping in the path of a range of bullets from a Reaver.

James buried Caliban at his past Apache reservation, alongside his brother and continued to fight alongside X-Force, as well as date Hepzibah. While taking some time off from X-Force, he visited his brothers' grave, and was attacked by a disturbed Demon Bear. With the help of Ghost Rider, he learned the secrets of Eli Bard; how he had resurrected his brother, Caliban, and his tribe for a sacrifice to Selene.

   Necrosha And Afterwards

After the Messiah War, X-Force was thrust into the middle of Necrosha, where reanimated past villains and the likes were controlled by Selene and the T-O virus. He met Risque, who was a part of Selene's resurrected army, and she managed to fight the T-O virus long enough to tell him to get away. When he confronted his brother he gave him a mercy killing. Later, with the help of an ancient ritual, he defeated Selene by stabbing her in the heart with her own dagger, which also freed the souls from her reanimated army.

Activity: He has come to grips with his past and James and Hepzibah finally become lovers...

(OK here's James, but a quick question...What are our character limits? Just a single character or maybe two?)

Yummy. We have a Cyclops.

Yeah, i'm pretty excited about getting to play him finally. He's among my favorite marvel characters, even if he's not terribly popular among most fans and completely overshadowed by flashier X-Men and superheroes. I've always related to Cyclops' situation - it isn't easy being the guy who does what needs to be done, right or wrong. That's cyclops in a nutshell - a soldier for the cause who will do anything to win. Unfortunately, Wolverine's existence kind of eclipsed that aspect of his character and forced him into being a dramatic antihero with serious relationship issues to keep him relevant. I always hated that; i feel like cyclops is by far one of the most interesting X-Men, especially because he isn't a hundreds of years-old invincible mindscrewed PTSD victim. He's as close to a mere mortal as a mutant gets, and by far the most believable one as a character.

Miroque

hmm... as there is Wolverine and Cyclops.. would you guys mind if I throw my hat into the ring, with Jean Grey (Phoenix/Dark Phoenix) application ?

I'm a big fan of Cyclops. He is the first one I fell in love with. I feel bad for him because he always tried to do what was right and he still got screwed. Then when he killed Xavier, everyone hated him when really it wasn't his fault since the Phoenix made him do it. Yet, they can forgive (and I am a Wolvie lover too, so no hating) Logan for being a man whore and killing hundreds of people and Jean for not being "herself". It never made sense to me.

Anyway, I would love to interact with him in some way. I just need to figure out who I want to play. lol

VoluptuousVixen

Im really looking forward to the game guys.

Also if you want a second char you are allowed, what I would say is if you have got a current Avengers char lets say make youre second a X-men char or F.F or a VIllian or a Thunderbolt. That way we are building on the marvelverse as a whole.

As for when the 2ndchars come into play, not yet. I think April should just be us focussing on these first chars weve picked and how they get out of HUKLAND. Basically this rag bag tam of heroes will not be in the same place they were before Loki brought hell to earth. So getting them to co operate with each other will not be an easy thing.

So my character for April is Captain Marvel and im going to reserve for myself Kitty Pryde for May.

If you know any friends on Elliquiy who would like to join then please tell them about the game.

  • Super speed: He is a very very fast person capable of running about high speeds faster than most cars or jets. His reflexes are also just as fast to keep up with it.
  • Super fast mind:His mind is also fast to keep up with his body. This doesn't mean he's super smart just that he thinks quickly and gets bored easily at the normal speed of life.
Weaknesses:

  • Mortal: He is not indestructible and can be hurt if doesn't dodge things.

History: Quicksilver worked with the Avengers until their failure at which point he was also informed who his father was. Quicksilver left as they started to take over land in america and oppress the humans.

He found Kingpin leading quite a revolution against his father and decided that it might be a good idea to help him win the freedom of normal humans. He defeated his father and soon after ward the heroes were put in camps. He now had the choice of continue to help the man who was enslaving every good guy or be enslaved himself.

He was set at the main camp in HULKLAND as one of their head guards as it's useful to have a mutant guarding the heroes.

Activity: He has been one of the head guards for the main camp for a long time and has had hidden doubts from the start as to if he should be trying to help the other heroes. All he needs is a nudge in the right direction to actually start helping them at which point he is a valuable asset that can get them out with far less issues.

#24
Player Name: Miroque
Superhero/villain: Phoenix
Real Name: Jean Grey-Summers
Age: Unknown. She looks to be 24
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Base of Operations: HULKland
Powers:
Telekinesis
Her telekinetic strength and skill are both of a supremely high power-level, capable of grasping objects in Earth orbit and manipulating hundreds of components in mid-air in complex patterns. She often uses her telekinesis to lift herself and others, giving her the ability of levitation and flight. She uses her telekinesis to create durable shields and energy blasts. She later manifests a "telekinetic sensitivity" (called "the Manifestation of the Phoenix") to objects in her immediate environment that lets her feel the texture and molecular patterns of objects, feel when other objects come into contact with them, and probe them at a molecular or subatomic level.
Telepathy
When her powers first manifest, Jean was unable to cope with her telepathy, forcing Professor X to suppress her access to it altogether. Instead, he chose to train her in the use of her telekinesis while allowing her telepathy to grow at its natural rate before reintroducing it. When the Professor hides to prepare for the Z'Nox, he reopens Jean's telepathic abilities, which was initially explained by writers as Xavier 'sharing' some of his telepathy with her.

Jean's telepathy allows her to read, influence, control, and communicate with the minds of others, project her mind into the astral plane, and generate telepathic force blasts that can stun or even kill others. Jean is one of the few telepaths skilled enough to communicate with animals (animals with high intelligence, such as dolphins, dogs and ravens). She can also telepathically take away or control people's natural bodily functions and senses, such as sight, hearing, smell, taste, or even mutant powers. As a side effect of her telepathy, she has an eidetic memory. Jean was able, through telepathic therapy with the comatose Jessica Jones, to grant Jessica immunity to the Purple Man's mind control abilities, despite his powers being chemical in nature rather than psychic. When Jean absorbs Psylocke's specialized telepathic powers, her own telepathy is increased to the point that she can physically manifest her telepathy as a psionic firebird whose claws can inflict both physical and mental damage. Phoenix discovers that she can telepathically enhance the powers of other mutants. She briefly develops a psychic shadow form like Psylocke's, with a gold Phoenix emblem over her eye instead of the Crimson Dawn mark possessed by Psylocke, Jean briefly lost her telekinesis to Psylocke during this exchange, but her telekinetic abilities later came back in full at a far stronger level than before
Phoenix Force
When transformed into Phoenix, Jean's powers escalate to a considerably higher level, allowing her to rearrange or disintegrate matter at a subatomic level, fly unaided through space, survive in any atmosphere, and manipulate electromagnetic and cosmic energies for various effects and atmospheric disturbances. She can create stargates that can transport her anywhere in the universe instantaneously. At this level, she is powerful enough to easily defeat a herald of Galactus.

Jean, while acting as a Phoenix Force avatar, can create 'cosmic' flames, even in seemingly impossible situations such as the vacuum of space or underwater. Typically they manifest as a raptor or part of a raptor such as a claw or wings. Jean has perfect control over these flames, only consuming what she wills. These flames do not require oxygen to burn, and burn so intensely that matter is consumed without by-products such as ash. It is unclear whether these flames are an extension of her telekinesis and telepathy or a more general property of the Phoenix Force. The cosmic flames are a literal punctuation to the Phoenix's purpose to "burn away what doesn't work", as well as being described as "burning through lies" and deception.

As the Phoenix, Jean is able to resurrect after death. In some depictions, these resurrections are immediately after she is killed, while other depictions indicate that resurrection must occur at a "correct" time, sometimes taking a century. The Phoenix Force allows Jean to revive, absorb, rechannel, and preserve the life-force of any kind of life-form, meaning that she can take life energy from one person and give it to others, heal herself with the same life energy, or even resurrect the dead, since the Phoenix is the sum of all life and death.

The relationship between Jean Grey and the Phoenix (and the nature of the powers she has) is portrayed in a variety of ways throughout the character's history. In the initial plotline of the Phoenix being a manifestation of Jean's true potential, these powers are considered her own, as part of Claremont and Byrne's desire to create "the first cosmic superheroine." However, since the retcon of the Phoenix as a separate entity from Jean Grey, depictions of these powers vary; these include Jean being one of many hosts to the Phoenix and "borrowing" its "Phoenix powers" during this time, being a unique host to the Phoenix, and being one with the Phoenix. She is later described as one of the few to hold the title of "White Phoenix of the Crown" among the many past, present, and future hosts of the Phoenix.

Weaknesses:
Mutant
She is affected by powers and technology that affects mutant powers.

History: Jean Grey was born the second daughter of John and Elaine Grey. She had an older sister, Sara Grey-Bailey. John Grey was a professor at Bard College in upstate New York. Depictions of Jean's childhood and her relations with her family have shown a stable, loving family life growing up.
Jean's mutant powers of telepathy and telekinesis first manifest when her best friend is hit by a car and killed. Jean mentally links with her friend and nearly dies as well. The event leaves her comatose, and she is brought back to consciousness when her parents seek the help of powerful mutant telepath, Charles Xavier. Xavier blocks her telepathy until she is old enough to be able to control it, leaving her with access only to her telekinetic powers. Xavier later recruits her as a teenager to be part of his X-Men team as "Marvel Girl", the team's sole female member. After several missions with the X-Men, Xavier removes Jean's mental blocks and she is able to use and control her telepathic powers. She begins a relationship with teammate Cyclops (Scott Summers), which persists as her main romantic relationship, though she also develops a mutual secret attraction to later addition to the team, Wolverine.
During an emergency mission in space, the X-Men find their shuttle damaged. Jean pilots the shuttle back to Earth, but is exposed to fatal levels of radiation. Dying, but determined to save Cyclops and her friends, Jean calls out for help and is answered by the cosmic entity, the Phoenix Force. The Phoenix Force, the sum of all life in the universe, is moved by Jean's dedication and love and takes the form of a duplicate body to house Jean's psyche. In that instant, the Phoenix Force is overwhelmed and believes itself to be Jean Grey and places Jean's dying body in a healing cocoon. The ship crashes in Jamaica Bay, with the other X-Men unharmed. The Phoenix Force, as Jean Grey, emerges in a new green and gold costume and adopts the new codename "Phoenix", with immense cosmic powers. Meanwhile, the cocoon containing the real Jean Grey sinks to the bottom of the bay, unnoticed. Phoenix continues her life as Jean Grey with the other X-Men, joining them on missions and saving the universe. During the "The Dark Phoenix Saga", Phoenix becomes overwhelmed and corrupted by her first taste of evil and transforms into a force of total destruction, called "Dark Phoenix", consuming a star, inadvertently killing the inhabitants of the star's planetary system, and jeopardizing the entire universe. However, Jean's personality manages to take control and Phoenix commits suicide to ensure the universe's safety.
This happened at 2000, making her skip almost two decades.

Changed history, of the End of Days.

After suicide, Jean was reborn by the Phoenix Force into her younger self. She now looks like to be her mid twenties, only to find her beloved world shattered and forever changed. She tried to tap into the Phoenix Force but so close to her rebirth, it was unattainable. Now she founds herself in consentration camp, void of most reacant memories of the changed world. She knows Loki by name and deed, as well as most of the key players. But she cant understand how any of this managed to happen. She knows her love intrests are both alive, but has not made an effort to contact them yet, fearing they might have changed sides or Loki might found out she has returned.

(I cut Jean Greys ´official´ history, so at this point, she still loves Cyclops and Wolverine, and things Emma Frost is member of sinister Hellfire Club, and she has no idea who Apocalypse is.)
