I've got some ideas for weapons options for the modular mounts for specialised situations - want me to add them to the list?

Vergil Tanner

Hmmmm....yeah, add them to the list. Put it in the Powers / Abilities section under a heading like "Extra Modular Capabilities" and list a few possibilities. Maybe two or three specialised stuff that he can equip before missions or take with him in the jet if he needs to retrieve them, but no more than three. He can always develop more as the game goes on. :D

Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by that of touch, because everyone can see but few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are; and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion. Therefore it is unnecessary to have all the qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite.

Dubbed the "Oath of Drake,"
A noble philosophy; I adhere...for now.

We'll have to wait for Life In Colour, but there shouldn't be a problem :D

Age: 24
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Part of New York Residing In: New Avengers Base of Operations, Quake also maintains the lease on a cabin the woods in Cleveland that is off-the-books which used to belong to Nick Fury .

== Physical Description ==

Civilian Wear:

Daisy is to be 5’6”, she has long legs, a tanned skin colour and is mixed race. Her mother was Chinese in origin and her farther Caucasian. As a teenager she sported a rather punk rock Goth look, have make up and her hair was short and spikey like a pixie cut, but as time has gone on and she has matured Daisy has let her hair grow out. Brown-haired and brown-eyed, Daisy is a beauty and she knows how to use it to her advantage. Her style has changed over the years, now she will embrace bright colours as well as the darker tones– she likes to dress attractive but practical given her hectic lifestyle.

Super-Wear:

Daisy tends to wear her SHEILD designated uniform which she herself has adapted over the years. Classic dark blue perfect for stealth missions. She however no longer wears the SHEILD crest on the sleeves. Quake also wears her amplifies on both hand's designed by Stark tech they are designed to amplify her powers and give her full control over them in the field both are silver in design and very heavy.

Costume:

== Persona ==

Quick witted and a smart ass was Furys first impression of the young Daisy Johnson. However he saw underneath her hard street smarts and saw a vulnerable girl with immense power which could prove to be her undoing. Daisy hides behind sarcasm and fast talk, but she is very sensitive. Bouncing around foster homes as a kid she was left feeling very unloved. As soon as she could get out on her own she did. Daisy made friends on the streets and even her first boyfriend Donny at 16, to whom she lost her virginity too. Daisy was horrified when her Quake powers kicked in, but luckily Nick Fury was there to recruit her into SHEILD (An organisation she had been against and even hacked into under the Alias SKYE) At first she saw Fury as a republican jerk who she would never get on with. But once she got to know him and what he was trying to do she agreed to help him as an agent.

Daisy has major trust issues with everyone, she has abandonment issues too, but she is very loyal. She was extremely protective of her fellow Secret Warriors and even took up position as team leader. She has good leadership skills and is fair minded, as well as determined to succeeded in her goals. Daisy is quick tempered which doesn't bode well given her powers are trigged by emotion.

== Powers ==

Vibrations: Daisy generates powerful waves of vibrations which can produce effects resembling those of earthquakes. She is immune to any harmful effects of the vibrations. She also has or was given a form of psychic shielding.

Her training under Fury enables her to target her seismic waves with pinpoint accuracy, causing targeted objects to vibrate themselves apart, from the inside out. She was able to prevent the detonation of an antimatter bomb implanted in the body of Lucia von Bardas by destroying its power supply, and exploding the heart of Wolverine while in his chest, to halt an enraged attack on S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury. This was during the Secret War of Nick Fury. Since then she has been practicing her abilities to find greater strength in them.

== Skills ==

  • Expert Martial Artist: She's also a superb hand-to-hand combatant, trained by Agent Melinda May.

  • Markswoman: Excellent markswoman.

  • Genius-Level Computer Hacker: Even with some alien tech.

== Weaknesses ==

Her Farther: Daisy has only met her farther once but he held her hostage and killed Several SHEILD agents while doing so. She knows he is out there and looking to recruit her for his crazy schemes. He was indirectly responsible for her mothers death years ago, as well as countless others. Quake feels disgust she is related to such a psychopath and fears that his darkness is within her.

Powers overloading: Daisy is scared at any moment she will loose control over her vibrations and as such kill innocent people. Fury told her that she had potential to be one of the most powerful beings on the planet. But that notion fills Daisy with dread.

Mortality: Daisy can easily be killed by a gunshot as a telepathic assault or a hit from an omega level threat like say the Hulk. She is at the peek of Inhuman perfection and her powers and training makes her a deadly foe to make but make no mistake Daisy Johnson can very much be killed.

Agent Nick Fury: Fury has a hold over Quake and he can be used against her. He also can call into question her better judgement and even her sense of loyalty to others. Quake sees Fury as the farther she never had and as such he has an emotional hold on her and a loyalty that even he could use against her if he ever needed to.

== Background ==

Johnson, a superhuman with seismic (earthquake-producing) powers, is the illegitimate daughter of Calvin Zabo, the supervillain known as Mister Hyde. Taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D., she is under the careful eye of its longtime executive director, Nick Fury, even after the latter's defection from the agency during the events of the Secret War series. Daisy herself was a participant in this incident, where Fury used trickery, lies and outright brainwashing in order to secure a superhero team to overthrow the legitimate government of Latveria. She fought alongside Captain America, Spiderman, Daredevil, Black Widow, Luke Cage and Wolverine. This later resulted in a terror attack on American soil one year later; Daisy destroys the cyborg leader. She possesses a "Level 10" security clearance, the only known agent aside from Fury and the Black Widow (Natasha Romanova) to do so.

Maria Hill took over as director of SHEILD and attempted to have Daisy arrested but no laws could back her up as Daisy was freed.

Months later, Johnson has helped to defeat the powerful mutant leader Magneto by inducing a vibration in his brain that made him lose consciousness. This was during a three-way confrontation with the X-Men, Avengers and the "Collective" - a powered being carrying thousands of mutant energy signatures. Daisy stated that if she were to join the superhero team the Avengers, she would adopt the moniker "Quake".

The Avengers had splintered due to the recent events, and Quake later seen reunited with Nick Fury, in disguise, who gives her new orders to recruit the descendants of various villains  in order to assist him with the threat against Hydra in their plan to overthrow the United States Government. Taking on the name Quake, she and her teammates attack the HYDRA during their invasion of Washington. The team becomes a part of Fury's Secret Warriors, with Daisy acting as field leader of the Caterpillars. The Secret Warriors then went up against HYDRA and stooped their terrorist aims to take over America.

While investigating Norman Osborn's escape from the Raft, Johnson is assigned to go after him which she does. But Osborn has formed a new sinister six and the team loose a member which causes the Secret Warriors to splinter. Up until that point Daisy was extremely close to her Secret Warrior team-mates, for the first time feeling she had a *Family* so when they split up she felt abandon yet again and as such has vowed not to get emotionally as attached to any other team she may fall into.

Daisy is eventually recruited by Kitty Pryde when she wants her to join her *New Avengers* Quake feels the time is correct. Quake feels she can do good in the world and she sees some of herself in kitty Pryde, the women are close in age and there by the grace of God and Pryde growing up with a loving family she could have been her. Fury since attempted t get in contact with her but she refused to answer his calls, blaming him for what happened with the Secret Warriors and thus far has stated she wants nothing to do with him. Quake is going to be giving the New Avengers a real chance.

== Character Extras ==

Hacker – When Daisy got on Nick Furys Radar he was aware she was the hacker known as *Skye* who had even hacked SHEILD files when she was younger. These are skills Johnson has had from a young age but she hasn't natured them recently due to her life taking over as a superhero.

== Face Claim ==

Chloe Bennett

== Theme Song ==

"Titanium" - David Guetta

Okey dokey, Silk, a couple of things:

The first is just that The Secret Wars and Secret Invasion haven't happened in this AU yet, so you'll need to take those out of your bio.

The second is a question; if Daisy is so loyal to Fury, then why is she in the New Avengers as opposed to the Wildcards, the team that was put together specifically by Fury?

If you can address those, we can get this bio moving along :-)

Well being loyal to Fury doesn't mean she works against SHIELD when joining the new Avengers. She could just be trying to make her own hero name for herself.

The point is, if she's still an Agent and still loyal to Fury, why didn't she join the team specifically created by him, that secretly answers TO him? Not saying there isn't a reason, but it has to be a fairly good one, considering the character that her bio set out for her.

Well weren't the members of Wildcards picked by Agent Venom though? Also, according to public view, there is no connection between SHIELD and the Wildcards. It was under my impression that only Fury and the Wildcards are aware of this initiative. If this is true, then Silk's character wouldn't have been informed as well despite being an Agent of SHIELD herself.

There's still amendments to be made sure, but I think her character could still retain being a part of SHIELD and the New Avengers. Be some fun drama down the road if nothing else.

Not all of them. Bucky. Spitfire. War Machine. Fury chose the first few, and THEN Venom got the pick. If he wanted to assemble a team with Venom in it, he'd put agents he could trust in there, just in case. Daisy would presumably be one of them.

Well, except that Daisy is top-level SHIELD and, if she is indeed so loyal to Fury, would maybe have been offered the chance to join the team from Fury himself. Fury and the leadership / upper ranks of SHIELD are aware of it, considering that they have an old SHIELD safehouse as a base, lots of SHIELD tech, frequently work with SHIELD and even have some SHIELD staff working with them.

I never said that it couldn't. It's just a question we would like Silk to answer with her thoughts on the characters motivations and why she's in the NA rather than the WC's.

Maybe Fury didn't add her because she's not seasoned enough for the nitty gritty line of work. Yeah she's probably killed, but Daisy comes off as someone who probably isn't seasoned enough to make the hard choice for the sake of the greater good. Everyone on the team is either old and gritty, murders and mercenaries, or near non-compromising. I like to think that when Fury and Venom were picking the team, they were picked because each one of them would be able and willing to take down any member that was eventually a threat to humanity  (i.e. Venom himself). Daisy's character doesn't come off as that kind of killer.

Iunno. Just food for thought and arguing for the sake of funnzies.

It's better to just let the gal answer herself. Otherwise, we just end up creating noise that goes back and forth without the real answer coming from the person it needs to come from. I know you're trying to help, but just trust me on that one, please.

Of course! And thank you for the interest! :D

Basically, "The Heart" is kinda like the empathic centre of the group; the one that holds them all together emotionally. If a teammate is in trouble, the Heart is the one who notices and goes out of their way to see if they need help or support. If there's an argument in the group, the Heart is generally the one trying to get everybody to sit down and talk about it calmly. They can have any power set you want - from no-powers like Black Cat to Super strength and flight like Captain Marvel - so long as they're the type of person who's empathetic and cares about other people and their wellbeing. :-)
