Final Call For Trinity: Abarant Evolutions

10 years ago I discovered a work of genius from the good people at White Wolf games. 

More than anyone else, White Wolf games reminded us that RPGs at their best were storytelling with dice.  Yet everything they'd done up to that point was tained by the raw, Emo angst of Vampire: The Masquerade. 

But then I found it, AEon Trinity, later shortened to Trinity on account of MTV's high priced lawyers and poorly animated catoon. 

Instead of Emo Undead, we were psychics.  Instead of fighting a hopeless apocalypse, we were at the birth of a new era of galactic expansion, fighting to preserve it.  All the beauty of intricate plots and story-centered gaming where it was still fun to roll dice was there. 

10 years later, I finally have a chance to run it table top.  Looking over the plot I made, though, I saw so much hentai potential, so I brought it to Elliquiy as well, to offer to my good friends in this congenial community of erotic artists of all stripes. 

I'd still love two or three more players, especialy, but not nessicarily, of ravishable female charecters. 

Join us on a mission to the dark ages wasteland France has become since the tentacled, mutated aberrants dropped a massive space station on it.  Confront the cancerous warlord and his minions on the streets of French space port cities, in the newly reborn wildernesses, amongst road warriors, dark age circuses, and neo-feudal castles, in search of data crystals holding secrets that must never be revealed, not even to the people seeking them. 

Confront Titania, a goddess among the aberrants, with breasts of silken gold, hair of molten copper, and wings of cutting obsidian. 

And if you survive that (without your wombs being pumped full of monsterous seed) travel to the asteroid belts, and beyond, in search of a hundred year old secret, a hundred year old shame. 

This is the world shaped by the AEon Trinity, a world of Psion and Aberrant Evolutions.

Seriiosly though, is there any place I might be able to find the rules?  I'm an avid white-wolf player,  so all I would really need is character gen.

I found the quickstart on white-wolf website,  I'm just going to look for a large description of the different psychic powers and I think I might be able to atleast create a concept for a character.

I'm sitting here thinking of ways to mess with people just by slightly tweaking their endocrine system. Medical studies + vitakinetic powers = fun.

Question,  is trinity rather simplified compared to say the World of Darkness?  From what the quick start seems to be infering there are no skills only three traits physical, mental, and social?  Is this the way the game is set up,  or is it a simplification?

That is indeed a simplification. 

Trinity's version of the storyteller system was the brige between second edition WOD and first edition Exalted.  They standardized all dificulty rolls to 7, paired atributes with abilities for defaults, and even allowed for one combat skill, Brawl, to make attack rolls off of Strength rather than Dexterity. 

Martial ARts is there for people who want to roll their unarmed attacks off of dexterity. 

But you'll find the traditional old world of darkness spread of Strength, Stamina, Dexterity, etcs.  7,5,3, split among physical, social, and mental.  You gain 10 ability points for abilities trained by the order to which you owe aligence, and 13 more that go anywhere you want, not to exceed 3.

Well, I'd have to learn how to play the game first...I'm familiar with WW systems in general, so that part shouldn't be a problem

Well, it looks like we've got an Electrokinetic, psychokinetic, telepath, and clairsentient. This leaves me with a Biokinetic, a Vitakinetic, a latent, or a norm. Yes, I realize I could double up, but I don't want too. The first three would probably be the ones I'd be most likely to play anyway.

A latent would be somewhat unlikely I think, and muse/our employer might not want one.

A norm would probably only be useful if they had an in depth knowledge of the area to which we will be headed.

Any suggestions, and reasons there for?
