Are you remembering to add a .jpg or other extension to the end of the filename? I get that error when I forget.

I am selecting the file, not typing in the name myself, tried a different one, same problem.

It may have been me. I was logged in via https, which seemed fine, but since I was having a problem I logged out completely and went back in. No problem uploading the image to the wiki thereafter. Huh.
