I'm stuck in bumf-k middle of nowhere and I want to vicariously live through YOU.  Please brag about your last most awesome meal in full and glorious food(porn) detail.  I will try and dig up recipes... that I dream about.  And probably troll your restaurant scene if you tell me what city you live in.

There is a restaurant I went to a while ago.  It was a little spendy, but it ended up being well worth it for the maple and apple cider glazed pork chop.  It was an inch thick bone-in chop covered in the most deliciously savory yet sweet glaze, but that wasn't all.  It came with whipped sweet potatoes though I think it was a mixture of apples and sweet potatoes and a side of oven roasted brussel sprouts seasoned only with salt, pepper, and butter

There's actually a lot of good restaurants to eat at where I live in Raleigh, NC.

A month ago I was at a Lebanese establishment across town. We shared various simple but good starters like pita, hummus, baba ghanouj and a green salad, but I especially enjoyed my main course of a beef and okra stew. The broth was a hearty combination of beef stock, tomato and a herb or two (definitely thyme, I think).

I also tried a beverage of made from some Middle Eastern fruit which I hadn’t heard of before—it reminded me a little of iced tea. I took a look at the menu again today, but it’s changed since I was there, so I can’t remember what it was. The afters were good, too, but I can't remember what they were. Again, the menu has changed.

Can I mention the Homestyle Chicken Sandwich from Jack in the Box? No? Aw...

Well then how about the Red's Tavern Double at Red Robin. That's my go-to burger there, plus I add onion straws. Oh yes.

And a Sand In Your Shorts, if I can drink alcohol.
