"Actually, we do need an Enforcer. Curvy Kitten's character needs an enforcer to escort her. So if you're willing to work with her and I on that, we could probably come up with something."

Yup, I'm fully willing to help work on something. Just let me know if you need anything from me.

"Okay, numerous profiles posted, I gotta figure out where all the B-Levels are living. I'm looking over Crispin (pretty much definitely approved as an A-Level) and waiting on Shilue's character (also A-Level) bio."

"Also Trystia's working on a teacher."

Sadly I don't think my character would gel with Kitten's so I think I'll just go with a  teacher.

Sorry.

"Depending on the idea... We could use a 'general' enforcer to showcase the crueler side of the enforcers. If you're okay with being on the aggressive side of an NC scene."

Sorry.

It's ok, I understand it will be a challenge to not only rp her but probably to deal with her as well. So no big deal, I'm sure it will work out in the end some how. :)

Shrugs~what ever you think is best. I'm rather flexible with most things. :)

Miles Schumacher

Player: DTW

Gender: Male

Age: Twenty Six

Ethnicity: American

Height: 170 cm (5'7)

Weight: 95 KG (210 LBS)

Position: Enforcer

Callsign: Speedy

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

How Long Have You Been at ExCiv?Student for four years , Enforcer for five.

Powers:

Superhuman Speed: Miles is capable of running at a top speed of one hundred and three miles an hour for upwards of seven minutes. His continues sustained top speed however is much slower at only sixty eight miles and hour which has been show to be able to travel for two straight hours. As one would expect of course His body is rather different then that of a normal human. His tendons have twice tensile strength of a normal human and His bones are significantly more durable than then the average person to withstand the dynamic shocks of his feet touching the ground at speeds a human could never achieve or withstand.

Enhanced Perception: In order for his brain to  work while  He's running  , Miles as has enhanced perception.  While this is fundamental in the use of his power  it also creates a problem when his power isn't in use as he finds it hard to focus on a single object or action due to the fact that his brain  is  constantly perceiving the world a little faster then  most people.

Enforcer Suit During work , Miles wears a specially designed suit that absorbs some of the impact his body takes at high speeds during combat.

Weaknesses:

Caloric intake: Due to his enhance speed , Miles requires four times the average caloric intake of a human male. He requires eight thousand four hundred calories a day to maintain a healthy weight as opposed the two thousand five hundred calories it takes for a normal human to do the same.

Normal agility:While Miles can run faster and perceive the world faster then most , He's as agile as a normal person. It takes the same amount of time for him to pick a lock , tie his shoes or load a gun as anyone else. While far from perfect and not capable of  fully allowing him to use his powers , it does make sure he's more then cap[able of holding his own against   the students.

Bio:

Miles is the only son of  Martha and Jim Schumacher Running is in Miles DNA as his father was a national championship track and field star in college which is where he met his wife Martha. Martha was studying to be a Veterinarian at The University Of Syracuse , just two hundred and nine seven miles from her childhood home of Long Island New York. Long Island was also the childhood home of Miles as his Mother and Father moved there after graduating college. As a child ,  Miles had many  friends and was an exceptional athlete. By the age of Seven he was able to out run kids twice his age and won his first state championship in the 200 Meter at only fourteen  years old. However while he was a wonderful Athlete , He was a terrible student due to an  inability to focus on a single task for to long. Miles sixteenth birthday was a bitter sweet one and one that changed his life forever. It was on this date that Miles became the youngest winner of the Boston Marathon in history. This glorious feat quickly gained  the attention  of the newly formed ExCiv boarding school and within four days he was ripped from his parents arms and locked away in  a living nightmare.  Miles time at  the facility was terrifying , due to his speed he was classified as a C level threat and kept  tranquilized for the first eight months  he spent there. He was constantly  insulted and mocked by his teacher for his instability to focus which had a profoundly damaging affect on the youth's psyche.

His release only came due to the fact that people with large pockets and connections wanted to see what the fastest man in the world could do on the track but once Extrahuman were banned from virtually organized athletic  contest in the world. Miles found  life on the outside to difficult and returned to ExCiv as a guard.

Personality:
Speedy's Personalty  is a mixed bag. When talking to normal people , He's a  friendly yet overactive man. When interacting with Extrahumans however , He is a cold and withdrawn figure who shows mild disdain for the group. He is specifically antagonistic to female  Extrahumans  using any excuse he can find to strip , grope or otherwise belittle them.
Deep down inside He is bitter about being unable to use his talents and participate athletics which leads to his abusive nature toward EXtrahuman Females. He is  talented at hiding this from his superiors however.

Description: Clean cut , Muscular and fit. Works hard to stay in top physical shape at all times.

Sexual Preferences: I would prefer to play out most of Miles sexual interactions with others and while Miles is certainly looking for any opportunity to abuse  the students , I am not in this for purely smut. I would love for one of the students to grow close to Miles and try to get him to let go of  his hostility about being an Extrahuman.

Nah, he is slower than flash but he is definately speeder in the story setup :). If he would be flash he would be OP (as flash can beat superman).

"Ah superspeed, such a great power and such a huge pain in the ass. I'm on board with the character concept if you understand that we're going to need to define what he's really capable of... Also, for the sake of remaining open-ended, let's not describe him as anything finite like 'fastest' anything. There are likely other speedsters and the school would never let them test it (not to mention ones in other countries)."

"My thoughts here, first and foremost, would be that the school would probably design something that won't wear under the friction of him moving (103 mph isn't honestly so fast that something couldn't be designed to withstand it). If you want to, you can note that this was an issue when he wasn't an enforcer. Also, he's described primarily as fast, and I think it would be good to keep it that way. You mentioned he has trouble focusing, and that should be connected to his perception levels (which are maybe adrenaline fueled so that when he's running he can perceive things more quickly and keep up with his own movements). This way we can say that even when not moving at full speed, he's still constantly perceiving the world a little faster."

"My other major idea is that his speed applies less to his agility. So while he's more athletic and agile than most, he couldn't pick a lock super fast or build an engine or other mechanical device. He's always faster than a normal human, but he's not like Superman or the Flash, buzzing about the room doing a million things (attempting to do so, at the very least, burns him out)."

"Last thing, he'd have some way to be put down if he turned on the other enforcers. I'm not sure what, exactly, yet, but I want to make sure you're on board. So if you're willing to work with me on it, I'm good with the overall idea."

Completely willing to adapt.

What I'm taking away so far is that I need to remove the fastest part  and add enhanced perception. May I replace  the friction with an agility weakness though? Would that be acceptable?

"Sure, that works for me. If you want, just describe this as kind of an overall speed thing, his body works faster, hence faster perception and metabolism. Altogether, it worked out to make him notably quicker (and tougher). Also note that if he crashes into something at full speed, tougher or not, he's going to hurt, so you might note that as a weakness as well. Maybe his enforcer suit is designed to absorb some shock so that he's better capable of fighting with at least higher velocity attacks, even if he isn't capable of full out speedster assault."

"Not sure what you're asking, I think the first part's self-explanatory. It's just noting that he's built for speed overall, metabolism, toughness, perception, they're all part of his speed power."

"The second part relates to Newton's Third Law, his body may be built for the impact of moving faster in general, but there's a difference between running and running into a wall. A difference between punching fast and punching a person at full speed. The reaction enhanced, just as much as the action, so doing these things can be potentially devastating. A shock absorbing suit could help mitigate (but not fully stop) this factor. Allowing him to hit with more of his speed than he'd normally be capable of, he's only likely to break bones if he rushes someone at full speed and punches them or tries some crazy thousand fist strike move and increases the likelihood that he lands a hit wrong and snaps his wrist or something."

Unless he does it like Flash who's body grew hard enough to handle the impact from his speed when he punches someone or crashes into something.

Hmmm, Ryuka, is there chance for me make a second char (or NPC kinda) who takes power inspiration from Shizuo Heiwajima? I thought make him a enforcer with short temper who was C-blocker when he was a student (a salt miner).

ManyMindsManyVoices

"Given that we've had issues over one character already, you're definitely not going to be approved for a second any time soon. As of right now, I'm not taking multiple character requests anyway. Zhu, Pyrk, Starcry, & Trystia are the only ones with permission, if I feel that's going to change, I'll most likely approach that player."
