HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAM STOKER!

Bram Stoker, an Irishman who gave the world his twist on vampiric lore and legend, leading to a story the world would never forget.
He would have been 165 years old today (which is nothing to Dracula) and has served as a literary hero to many. Much like his most famous character Count Dracula, Mr. Stoker will live on in his writings.

Whichever cinematic version of Dracula one prefers, the book remains required reading. :-) (Lovely Beardsley-style Google doodle, too.)
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.

Oh I agree, the book is timeless and one of the best reads I've ever picked up.

Happy Birthday Bram

Here's to the creator to one of the greatest vampire novels ever written. Here's to another great Irish blacksmith of the word.
