Normally I'd just assume Elliquiy's down for the day and be done with it.  But my government's plans to put up a compulsory internet filter that went through days ago has me worried.  Other people seem to be on here just fine, which is a worry.  I can get on fine so long as I go through a proxy, which is even more of a worry.  And I don't see anyone else online who I'm sure is from Australia, which is an even bigger worry than that.

Could it be something on Elliquiy's end, or am I going to have to go to Parliament House and get rowdy?

https:// is what I use by default; it wasn't working, but for some reason now it is.

I'm from Australia so you can see if I'm on (or add me to IM if you ever want to check).

I haven't had any issues yet.  The australian plans are not being implemented yet - it's still in the consultation pre-legislation phase.  There's a fight ahead.

I'm from Europe and E sometimes has these 'blackouts' for me too. I don't know what is it in the communication bridge, but it does get annoying. Few times I was panicking, like "Did I get a ban on IP?" o.O

If https doesn't work either, then I try anonymizer or proxy. If not even that works, then I try IMing someone else on E and ask them if E works for them. Sometimes I do get the answer that E doesn't work for anyone. :-)

Yeah, you were the first one I really noticed around here, Kipoc.  I know that much; I figured Optus decided to jump the gun a little.  But as I said, it's back on for me again.

Personally I don't see the plan getting past the House of Reps, but you never know.  It's always a problem when the fundie independents hold the balance of power.
