The Academy of Heroines is a school for girls that will learn to fight with steel, magic, bow and body. Freelance peacekeepers, known as Heroines, given the freedom to travel and roam, solving the lands many problems as they see fit, and doing it above the law. Wheather its killing, searching, rescueing or just mediating, they are free to choose.

A young man of 17 has just been the victim  of what is seemingly a random bandit attack. His entire village was burnt to the ground, and during the attack, his mother gave him and ornate dagger and told him to protect it with his life. Before they could escape, the both of them fell to the bandit onslaught. Mother and son died, along with all who lived in that sleepy town.

Something, a being, existed within this dagger, and before the boys life had gone completely, he was revived, and to preserve them both, the daggers entity possessed the boy. Using his body, this demon wiped out the bandit force, bathing the village in blood. Now very weak, the demon inside this boy retreated for a long recovery, waiting for his strength to return.

The Headmistress of the Academy knows of this dagger and its importance, and also why this poor boys home was destroyed in order to claim it. She enrolls him into her school, the first boy to ever become a student there, to watch over him, and give him a chance of revenge.

Freeform, light, anime style teen drama, with fight scenes, high school style rivalries and just a little excuse for some fun :) plus, its a boy in an all girls school!

Nope! :D the boys up for grabs.

Jefepato

I'm guessing Fable was an inspiration?  I wouldn't mind playing the boy.

Haha, that it was :D

If you think you can handle the part, its yours.

brittney

about how many girls are you looking for? seems like it could grow quite a bit!

Sabby

I'll be introducing and controlling characters as the opportunities come, so... say two more people sign up with a character each, and there will be plenty of interaction.

I tried this game a while ago, and the way I've proposed it now (me = many characters) worked pretty well

brittney

well, i was just poking my nose in. if there's no one else interested in playing, i will sign up since it sounds interesting. but i might be trying too many things at once. *laughs*

Sabby

Well, this is the second game you've signed up for with me. Hope you'll enjoy both of them :)

Anyone else?

brittney

heh, it's only because you have such interesting ideas!

I'll try my hand at this. D'you want a character profile before you commit to having us on board, or is it just whoever you can get at this point? I'll play one girl-student.

MadPanda

Gosh!  I'm tempted to drag a certain half-orc property reclamation specialist out of moth-balls, if she'd fit in well enough...  :)

Hmmm... well, from experiance, having this many people in a free form has usually been an issue... as long as you all think you can keep a decent posting ratio, and we keep some kind of contact, you're all welcome aboard. This game died a slow, complicated death for lack of contact/co-ordination.

Jefepato

I'm sure I can keep it up.

Is the game going to stay within the Academy, or will it eventually progress through graduation and beyond?

Sabby

Hmmm... never thought of that... I originally made it for a high school drama, but I see no harm in a graduation.

Darwishi

So what's the year in this? And are these superheroines or just normal girls that want to fight crime?

Sabby

If you know of shows like Naruto, its that kind of exagerated but still not hyper powered teens.

And its a medieval setting.

Jefepato

By the way, Sabbat, are Heroines literally above the law, or are they just too powerful for authorities to really do anything about?

Sabby

Literally. They are given full freedom.

OK, everybody, if you'd like, send a rough idea of your characters to me via PM, and if they don't really fit in the setting, I'll suggest some ways to get them in :)

Looking forward to this.

Keeping up posting?  Yeah, I can do that....  ;D  Can I ever!

This might be a rude question,  but is the male essentially the lead character with everyone else acting in supporting roles?  I'd be interested if the plot was spaced out evenly between all the PCs,  but, if on the other hand it just turns into a one player show I'll have to pass.
Humanoid Tactical Weapons are sexy...

Sabby

Hmmm... not exactly. Its not like the boy has the spotlight, and everyone is just backing him up. He is a more important character (all girl school, one boy. Add it up) but it'll have a more anime/sitcom structure. Everyone will play their part and will be involved just as much as the boy.

Sabby

Well, this is certainly getting a lot of attention! :D

If any of you have doubts for the game, or want to drop out, thats fine. Theres a lot of people signing up, and limiting the number of players will make it more managable.
