@ wisdomcube and Andy, would one of you volunteer to switch to your "natural" side as one of the male characters? That'll make us at 4/4 and make us good to launch.

@Kerri: Don't sweat the inexperience too much. We'll start slow-ish, and ramp things up a bit once we're all settled.

I reinstalled The Sims 3 last night, so that I could make the new house for this or the other game. ;)

I guess, if nobody else wants to play a male, I can, but it's not my personal preference, not for this game anyways. So if neither of the boys want to play their gender, I'd be willing to play as a male. I just really didn't want to jump into the mix of a group game with a character that I'm not totally comfortable with. I am willing to try to make it work though.

When he came back home, he found his wife had been cheating on him the entire time he was gone, being very pregnant with the other man's child as proof. He's bitter, but knows that not all women are the same. Perhaps he thinks this show will be a good way to jump back into the dating world.

Does that sound like what you might want?

Welcome aboard, Kerri! I love this idea and I had something along these lines pass through my head had I been a player instead of co-GM. So, great minds think alike! Let us know if there's anything we can help with. :)

I'll probably need some help along the way, so don't say you haven't been warned. ;) I'm a relative newb when dealing with group games like I said before, and I haven't had much opportunity playing males, so if I make my tough guy a bit non-guy like, please feel free to send me some constructive criticism, and I'll fix it right up.

Other than that, this seems like a really fun set-up and I'm looking forward to playing with you all.

First post has been updated, with some basic rules and a Character Sheet.

We'll probably get this started this weekend, unless we're at an odd number of players and need one more at that point. I'll start getting the game threads together on Friday, and have the OOC and Character List pages available immediately.

I have somewhat of a char concept I can reuse as female.  In the home stretch of another novel, though, so not 100% I can do something great if I have to come up with something original.  The original concept I was thinking would be pretty dark, though (attempted suicide and such) so might not work overly well in the game.  I'll have to think.

I know.  It's not a great idea but not sure if I can come up with a really awesome one of the correct gender in time.
