The Eternal War (Steam/dieselpunk WW2)

Just a random idea I had and wanted to see if anyone else was fascinated with it.

The basic setting is of a steam/diesel punk world where the Second World War is still being fought on. A nearly endless army of steam and oil powered NAzis have risen up only a few days after the war was to have ended. Out of the ashes of the black heart of the Socialist party rises the undead, powered by things never meant to be within a human's body they rise and slowly begin overtaking large chunks of the world, somehow even bypassing battle lines and opening up new fronts in Asia, South America.

Though they haven't won yet, the war still goes on to this very day.  The war seems to never end and the Nazi army has actually gained some ground in recent years. Standing armies cant handle the stress of fighting in other areas, so Mercenary groups begin popping up like weeds, fighting against the endless enemy all for the sake of money, in this war torn world its one of the few alternatives the poor have between turning to crime and starving on the streets from the rationing they are forced to contend with.

So As the war drags on more money is tossed to mercs to keep up the eternal fight so that the various megacities powered by Steam and Oil never face danger. Leading to a job as a Mercenary being quite lucrative. With officers earning a fairly pretty penny.



Fighting by Land Air and Sea with our machines and troopers, The Mercenary company "Storm Riders" has been holding the line in both Europe and Asia, moving via airship between the lines. They are the fourth most profitable gun for hire group out here and are about o hire on new squads into this madhouse called "Echelon company."

The war will never end but at least we can give those undead pukes a good knock to the teeth.  ;)

But the zombies will be shooting guns and piloting vehicles. they aren't just flesh eaters, they want to make the whole world one giant factory and spread out among the stars (Like in the movie Mutant Chronicles)
