Minecraft Thaumcraft and Baubles

Basically, the new 1.7 version of Thaumcraft requires baubles. However, it seems when I use these two mods, my game crashes and says something about the Gui Scale Resolution? I read online that it could be because of the baubles, but then I can't use Thaumcraft either. Any ideas? I am asking here because I know there are some techies that have used Thaumcraft around E. :)

Thats what I meant. 1.7.10 from Forge. Unless you mean the number which is 10.13.2.1291.

I'm using the normal launcher. Not technic or FtB or anything like that.

May want to use a manager like multimc to keep track of things better.

Pretty sure. Could it be that my graphics card is really bad and does not support openGl 2.0 ? Or perhaps that I had LOTR mod on it before hand and now changed it?

the people there are quite knowledgeable, helpful (and it's not entirely exclusive to FTB).

At my own first impression, I would almost suspect you may need to upgrade your Java. Considering the errors that are reported are maybe started by Thaumcraft, but then it's all java methods that are invoked to no use.

Thank you for the reply. I updated my Java to the most recent version and put Thaumcraft and Baubles back into my MC mods folder. It seems I do not crash anymore when placing items into chests. Thank you for the help!
