As you can tell by the video (by looking carefully at the monitor on the computer next to the spokesman's right ear), an unfortunate worker was caught looking at porn on a computer monitor...on national TV. Needless to say, the bank in question, Macquarie Banking, was not amused. "Macquarie takes matters such as the unacceptable use of technology extremely seriously," it said in a statement. "Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from today's live cross on 7 News is being dealt with internally."

Wow...I have to say, this guy has the worst timing. Not only is he looking at porn at work in a bank, he does it on national TV. And he doesn't even realize it for about a minute. While his job may be lost, I have a feeling he'll be endlessly remembered on the Internet.

Haha, I certainly enjoyed when he just so happened to glance back, realize they were filming directly behind him, and have what must have been a miniature panic attack as he shuffled his chair nervously.

Except he was conversing with someone else the whole time, and said someone else seemed to have pointed out the camera to him.

From the body motions, it's equally likely that the coworker sent the naughty pictures via email when he saw the cameras being manned, then came over to discuss them. I find it as likely as the idea of someone looking at porn in an office environment such as that, anyway.

I would agree, and add that the embarrassment of it all probably has been punishment enough. Additionally, if they fired him, where would he be able to get a job? "Hey, aren't you the guy who...?" If he does his job well, keep him.
