Pandora's Box: Now Hiring (Gentlemen's club Interest Thread)

I've wanted to make a gentleman's club game for awhile, so here goes nothing. My knowledge of these establishments? Stems from both working at, and going to them over the last few years. Everyone has different experiences in them, so lets' see what we can come up with together ladies & germs. I'd like to see how different backgrounds and personalities would all come together in this one place. Some people? Might love their jobs, others might absolutely hate it.

Lastly, I want to try my hand at making this the single largest game that I've done on here. The format of the game? Will essentially allow for a sandbox of sorts with a few story beats that the players are able to choose to ignore if they wish. The manager will be a Co-Gm of sorts essentially, but I want to build the sandbox and let people play in it as they will.

The Story:
An affluent entrepreneur with alleged organized crime ties had a large and extravagent Gentleman's club set up as a source of legitimate income. He saw to it that it'd be the best of the best in regards to clubs, and that he'd hire the best looking women available and see to it that all of the patrons would see their wildest dreams come true. For a price. Money was what mattered the most, and if that meant that the dancers had to explore more risque options to make it? So be it. 

The Club: Looking through a number of layouts and interiors, however it will be a more upscale establishment with a bar. There'll be booths, as well as VIP sections and a Cigar Lounge. The mainstage will be fairly large, and have 3 poles to support up to three dancers a song when at maximum occupancy. Each dancer will perform for three songs on the main stage for their sets each hour, and during especially busy nights? They'll be expected to perform additional dances on the pole at the bar as well as the ones in back of the booths.

60" Flat Screens are stationed throughout the club to play music videos, and various sports including Basketball, Football & Hockey.

The club itself will have two stories. With an elevator as well as a V.I.P Bar upstairs. The dancer's changing and locker rooms are closed to the public and situated on the first floor in the rear of the club. There is a designated area for lap dances on the first floor. Although this is in a section that while secluded from the main area, is still open with a circular sofa unit lining the walls. The private rooms are upstairs, and cost various different prices.
The VIP rooms cost $10 for a basic but private booth with a curtain in addition to what the dancer charges for dances. A sofa is provided to sit on.
The Private rooms have doors, a pole in the center of the room, themes of some kind such as The Oval Office or Arabian Nights. They are $20 dollars a room, and have a more comfortable sofa.

The Champagne rooms are the most expensive rooms in the establishment. As well as the most intimate. There are less of them in comparison to the other rooms. However smoking is allowed in them, and in addition to the sofa? There are beds in the room, and televisions where customers can watch anything from television to purchased adult films. A hot tub is also incorporated into the room. The cost of the room also goes towards Champagne and these rooms cost $500 dollars and are for our high rollers. Since it is assumed that a good deal of time will be spent in these rooms? Food is allowed in them, and the patron is able to request outfits for their dancer to wear.

Owner: I'll be playing him as an NPC

Manager:(1) Money handling, inventory, hiring & firing, and day to day operations.

Dancers:(No cap) The primary draw. Beautiful women who serve as entertainment in a more intimate setting for our guests. We encourage attractive women to come out and work for us. Your money making potential is completely in your hands. After payout, you keep whatever you make. Pay out at the end of the night includes the money to the club, to the various other employees for their efforts and any fees that may come from arriving late or leaving early. Whether you're putting yourself through college, or you're a massage therapist or escort looking to make extra money? We have a place for you.

DJ(s):(1) The host who announces the dancers' sets, maintains the flow of entertainment and cues the music. Varied taste in music is neccesary for this position.

Bouncer(s):(3 max) The security detail. Imposing physiques, and strength to match is a neccesity for this position. Your job is to enforce club policy, monitor who enters and exits the club, and to maintain order and safety in the club.

House Mom:(1) She is responsible for managing the dancers and seeing that they are taken care of as the staff is mostly male.

Bartender:(Filled) Prepares drinks and sees to it that the patrons are not thirsty.

Cook(s), Bathroom Attendant(s), Valet(S) Waitresses & Shot Girls: Are all positions that we're looking for as well. The cook can be of any genre, but should have experience preparing food and certification. The waitresses and shot girls are all female, and should be reasonably attractive as they're expected to dress in revealing outfits and to entice guests to buy drinks and shots. The bathroom attendants differ by gender and the specific bathroom they'll be working in. They are there to offer the patrons soap, personal hygiene items and either candy or breath mints on the basis of tips. They're to keep the bathrooms clean and presentable and while it is not openly stated in their contract? They are also to carry condoms for sale to the patrons. The valets recieve mandatory tips, and they are to park and retrieve the vehicles of patrons and employees.

Sales Clerk(s):(2 max) Work in the attached adult store and sell various kink outfits and costumes for men and women including our dancers. Adult films, sex toys and objects.

Law Enforcement:(2 max) This would be off of the books completely. But the two cops would be on the payroll and would stop by often and be available for call in cases of extremely violent incidents. They do not have to pay a cover charge, drinks are on the house and they're able to use our more intimate services with unencumbered dancers of their choice. They'll turn a blind eye to the more illegal going on's, while also essentially working on the pay roll.

Lastly, and most importantly we need good and loyal patrons who are looking for the times of their life and for the absolute best in adult entertainment. This can include average joes, couples, celebrities, people involved in the adult entertainment business and members of the syndicate.

The thing about Strip Clubs? Is that most of them? They won't even let women in by themselves because they figure that the girls are prostitutes and trying to take money from the dancers that work there. Women typically are only allowed into clubs if they have guys with them, so strictly dancing and the like for females? Wouldn't be plausible. Especially to where they'd be able to make enough money for payout and for themselves nightly. They would fire a dancer very quickly for that sort of thing. So my advice if you're interested? Be a waitress or a shot girl, and have an interpersonal relationship with one of the women who work at the place or a female patron.

And Occident, most dancers do that. Like that isn't any different from what is expected of most dancers short of those who aren't comfortable dancing for chicks or couples. So no that isn't a problem if you're playing a female dancer.

Wednesdays tend to not be slow at the clubs I've worked at. They had foxy boxing at one of them, and amateur night at another. I've had to turn away girls who have tried to enter by themselves though, which would really suck but the management was strict about that because of past incidents. Thank you very much though. I hope that it will.

Enslaved in the most literal sense? Not so much since human trafficking? Is something I want to avoid. BUT indebted either through your characters' actions or the actions of someone close to her? That is a definite possibility, especially with the crime ties. So definitely. Under threat of violence or something to that effect. That definitely works.

Bryce and his 3 brothers and two sisters are all part of the organization and were tasked with pulling in revenue. Bryces' illegal enterprises are heroin distribution as well as a number of killers that he hires out. Many of his employees do not even know that they work for him, which is a testament to his ability to stay out of the spotlight. His real successes have been legitimate businesses such as a gym that trains MMA fighters and has turned out plenty of professionals, a casino, a record label that is quickly gaining steam as well as his flagship Gentleman's Club. He started it up after attending a bachelor party at one that was less than entertaining and sought to get the best talent and to make sure the club was top of the line. To that end, he only shows up when he wishes to sample the talent or to check on operations every now and then.

Job Description: He leaves the day to day to the manager of the club, but he owns it and gets final say of all the going ons' at the club.

Personality Notes Cold, ruthless, and methodical. He can be generous when it suits him, or he can be cruel. Backstory: Yuri is, in some ways, a fairly lucky girl. While her parents had gone to America to attend college, they met and fell in love, starting a whirlwind romance. Before they'd graduated her mother had already gotten pregnant and gave birth to Yuri, making her a first generation American. While suddenly deciding to live in America was rough on the pair, they managed to get stable enough jobs to give Yuri a fairly good life.

The girl was more physically oriented than anything else, despite a weak constitution. She took up swimming and gymnastics to try and build up her strength, and stuck with them clear up to adulthood. Unfortunately, despite her amazing work-ethic and positive attitude when it came to her studies, she just couldn't seem to quite do as well as the students at the top of her class. Learning new skills that weren't physical were just a little . . difficult for her.

In the end she graduated from high school successfully, but didn't do well enough to get herself a proper scholarship, leaving her in a troubling place. Her parents didn't make enough money to afford her college fees, but she'd need the education to become a teacher in a good school. One of her less-than-reputable friends suggested that since she was cute, she could make some money by selling herself on the streets! Yuri knew better than to straight-up do that, of course, but it still gave her an idea. A month later she showed up at Pandora's Box asking if there were any openings for a dancer, since being in a new city and going to college part-time, she needed money for rent and tuition. With her grace and flexibility, on top of her petite-but-sexy body, it wasn't too difficult to get in.

Skills and Talents: If there's one thing that Yuri is proud of, it's her flexibility. Despite her curves, she can reach near-contortionist levels of flexibility, something that's a pretty rare gift. Something that's less a skill and more a quirk of genetics, is her smell. She's yet to meet someone that found her scent unattractive, even after an afternoon of exercise. Seems she's got some rather nice pheromones. Oddly enough, despite her . . slowness to learn mental skills, she's unusually gifted when it comes to language. She's learned English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Spanish, and German so far. Her old school councilor said it had something to do with how her mind organized information, which made it hard to learn some things, but pitifully easy to learn other things.

Motivation for Dancing: She really is the stereotypical "Put myself through college" exotic dancer!

Musical Tastes: She has a fairly ecclectic taste in music, and mostly enjoys music from her parents' homelands. When it comes to music she dances too though, she bows to the expertise of the other dancers and DJ, in helping her find something that fits her.

Stage Persona: Like her taste in music, her persona isn't really completely fluffed out yet. As Daisy, she presents herself as cheerful and happy, a naughty girl next door type. Still new at dancing, she hasn't really found her niche yet, but she's moderately successful so far.

Personality Notes: While she's fairly naive and inexperienced, she prides herself on her ability to keep an open-mind and stay cheerful and confident. She'll do what she needs to do to get ahead in life, and not let herself get scared or weirded out in the process. She'd probably be a good person for entertaining businessmen whose languages fall into her range of knowledge. Also, she doesn't really like the name Daisy, but it was the only thing she could think of at the time!

Backstory: For several months Cassidy had been on her own. She had married at the age of 16 in an attempt to escape the hell that she lived with each day with an abusive father. Of course there were nights where he left her alone and had his sights on her mother solely. Her marriage had been a happy one for the first year but then the financial troubles came and with that her ‘true love’s’ true colors shown through. For a while she had thought that things could change and that if she did as he wanted he wouldn’t hit her or take her as he saw fit.
The final straw was when she had woken up late one night and went downstairs for a drink, there were voices coming from the living room and her name had been mentioned. Apparently the money troubles were not because her husband’s hours had been cut or that she was living beyond their means. Rather Jake had a gambling problem and in order to keep up with it, as well as the mortgage on the home his parents had helped them get, he had taken out a hefty loan and now the shark wanted to collect. Jake was telling the other man that he couldn’t come up with the money but that he would be willing to use her to work off the loan. From there the conversation had been a blur, but they were planning on when she would be presented for the exchange. Out of fear of being caught she returned to her bed where she pretended to sleep until she was sure it was safe, packed a duffel bag with the essentials, and retrieved the money she kept hidden for emergencies. Under the cover of night she disappeared, hiding in a low-rate motel while she made a plan.
Unfortunately her husband had found her and it was only a matter of luck that she had escaped and got to the bus station heading wherever her money would take her. Fast forward from there and you find Cassidy where she is now, working for Pandora’s Box since the day she stepped off the bus.


Skills and Talents: Cassidy has been dancing for as long as she can remember and has tried everything at least once. Aside from this she is unsure of her talents but will be more than willing to try anything at least once and experiment.

Motivation for Dancing: Dancing had always been a passion for Cassidy, even at a young age she would move her body to the music. If she managed to avoid her father’s wrath when he was in one of his moods, Cassidy would lock herself in her room, turn up the radio and dance until she collapsed. It was a way for her to escape her mother’s cries and father’s yelling, they always made up by morning.
After packing up and leaving her husband with nothing but $200 and a bag of clothes, dancing will help Cassidy rebuild her life and hopefully protect her.

Musical Tastes: For Cassidy it doesn’t matter what the music is so long as she can move to it. Even the DJ knows if the beat isn’t right she will not get on stage. In the six months that she has been at the club there has been an understanding, so there is never an awkward moment.

Stage Persona: On stage dancing is when Cassidy let’s go, there is nothing in the world but the club and dancing. Just like her personality her persona can change on a whim. Most nights it’s about the music and dancing. Others it’s about getting the attention and getting the men to give up the cash in their wallets. Still there are those nights where Cassidy is distracted, the pressures of her life outside the club taking over. These are the times when she appears to be the innocent girl-next-door.

Years With The Club:  < 1 year

Personality Notes: While Cassidy does not have split personalities, her persona on stage or with clients can change. When chatting up the gentlemen she may simply introduce herself as simply Midnight instead of using her full stage name. This really will only happen if she feeling more vulnerable than she lets on. It’s these nights where the wild, unpredictable woman that some regulars have come to know and love see a softer, almost frightened side of Cassidy.
With sex she can handle just about anything, if the clients are into delivering pain or making it rough, Cassidy can handle it even enjoy the sadistic treatment. Roughness and pain are all Cassidy knows so ‘making love’ is a foreign concept for her. In these cases sex is sex and strictly for the money.

Backstory:
Jessica is a single mother of her three year old daughter, Lily. She used to be in a relationship with Lily's father, Matthew but he was abusive towards her, getting drunk almost every night and beating Jessica. Her parents knew about it and took Lily away from them, which only angered Matthew more. One night, Jessica had got a call from one of Matthew's friends saying that he was too drunk and needed to be picked up. Obliging, she went to pick him up from outside the club they frequented, just down the road from Pandora's Box. As Jessica was helping him to her car, he got really mad at her, and punched her, in public. The bouncers of Pandora's Box got him off her, but Matthew started a fight with them as well and one of them notified the owner, Bryce. Jessica was escorted inside and Bryce was really nice to her, offering her a job as a dancer and a way to get away from Matthew and start her life over. She accepted immediately, and Bryce sent someone to her apartment and picked up all her stuff, moving her into one of the many properties he owned. She's lived there ever since, trying to earn enough money to look after her daughter. Her parents still look after Lily, as they think Jessica goes to night school get a good job to support them, and Matthew got imprisoned for assault for 3 years. In the club, Jessica worked her way up in the hierachy, and Bryce has recently started showing more interest in her. Rumour round the club is that she's going to be the next one of his girlfriends, as his last one had recently left.

Skills and Talents:
She knows a good song when she hears one and is pretty good at choreography for her and the other girls if they need it. She's also a wonderful singer and has on occasion flaunted that talent.
Motivation for Dancing:
Jessica is dancing to make money for her and her daughter to live. It's basically a week to week, rent, food, clothes etc.
Musical Tastes:
Anything with a good beat to dance too, she enjoys a combination of fast upbeat music, and slower sensual numbers.
Stage Persona:
Cherry is a party girl. She is always ready for a good time. She likes the regulars because she knows how to please them, but she also likes any new people because she gets to try something new. She is up for anything, making the most of any tips that comes her way.
Years With The Club:
She has been with the club for two years and knows how things work around there.

Personality Notes:
Off stage, Jessica is reserved and quite shy. She enjoys the company of the other girls, but is mostly interested in being the best mother she can be for her daughter, saving as much money as she can so she can get her back again, and leave the club life. She refuses to have a relationship with anyone because she knows people would not understand why she worked at the club. She loved her job, she got to be a completely different person on the stage at night, someone confident, carefree and sexy. Normally, she wore conservative clothing, nothing too revealing.

Education (If Any): Nori went to high school in Britain before moving to America to get away from his father, where he went to a local college for Musical Arts. He is also well trained in the art of free running, though he has no formal education in the sport.
Backstory: Nori was born in Britain to a father who was a diplomat and his mother who his father married as a trophy wife. He lived a life of relative comfort, though his father was strict about him following in his footsteps. Even when he could barely walk, his father drove him to run. It was comfortable, yet tough for the young boy.

Given a few years time and a plain ticket to America, Nori used his father's connections to get him a student visa while he took his life into his own hands. While he originally took the opportunity to move as an escape, he stayed in the college after he discovered his talent with all things musical. His entire outlook changed and he began to change his physical appearance to match it, much to his father's annoyance when he came for his first visit. The tattoos could have been forgiven, but the piercings and flesh tunnels were beyond his father's forgiveness. They aren't on the best of terms even after 4 years, but Malik doesn't mind.

After his Freshman year in college and their falling out, Nori was cut off from his father's money, causing him to desperately need a job. He took up an opportunity as a DJ in what he thought was a night club, which is now his current job at Pandora's Box. He stayed at the club thanks to his ability to pick out the right song or song combination for any dancer's particular style. Occasionally he would poke fun using his job, though it was never to the point of messing up a dancer's set.

Job Description: DJ in the club and college student.

Musical Tastes: While he favors classic rock and older styles of music, he has a very broad range of musical interests. He is more than happy to play any type of music for the dancers they want so long as it isn't just outright bad or lacking the right beat for a dance. He'll often combine multiple tracks using his Numark iDJ for the perfect dance music.

Personality Notes: Nori is very easy going and somewhat a joker when he has the opportunity to be. He can be a bit of a flirt, though it's usually just his way of showing affection towards the dancers and other staff members at the club. He can be rather dense about other peoples intentions however, usually to his own ire. He also gets rather embarrassed about his heterochromia, stemming back to childhood teasing (and flirting, though he didn't realize it). He can also be a bit of a book worm, burying his head in a novel or text book while he works the music from his booth.

Her adoptive family loved her and raised her to be self-sufficient but when they, eventually, managed to have a child of their own, Lilith became more of a second thought than an active part of the family. She always stood out among them with their blonde hair and blues contrasting sharply with her own ethnic beauty.

They didn't treat her badly, they seemed to sort of forget about her for the most part.

Wanting to escape a house she didn't really belong in she studied hard with the intention of going away for college. At least until she was informed that if she couldn't pay for college herself she was going to be out of luck because they had to save their money for their daughter's education not hers. She had done well enough with her grades to have earned multiple scholarships to a variety of school but none of them was a full ride and so she was left looking for work that could support her and pay for school.

Skills and Talents: Dancing has always been a hobby and something she's good at, she can also cook fairly well, enjoys horseback riding, plays the violin with enough skill to be pleasing but not professional, and has always enjoyed learning new things.

Motivation for Dancing: Money was the initial motivation. Enough money to get her out of her "parents" house and to have some left over to save for her education. She's in no rush to jump into school however and enjoys watching her savings grow. She figures there is enough time to continue to save and to go to school when she can't dance anymore.

Musical Tastes: Lil likes a bit of almost anything from classical, to jazz, to r&b, to country, to rock. For her dance numbers though she prefers the smoky strains of a classic jazz numbers over more modern offerings.

Stage Persona: On stage, Lilith, favors more vintage outfits and make-up, bringing to mind the inherent sensuality of long gone blues and jazz singers and a time when women were more submissive to the men around them. She's not as flamboyant as some of the other dancers and she doesn't try to be, but when she wraps herself around the pole while dancing it leaves anyone watching with the impression that she's very nearly making love to it more than just dancing around it.

So, I've been lurking this thread since it was started and have been enjoying seeing some of the characters, but was not sure how much more I could take on.  As I recently dropped a game I do have room for another, and was thinking of playing either a customer or employee (male either way) depending on what there was a greater demand for.  Regardless of which role is filled, I would like my character to have some relationship with one of the dancers, whether it be family member if someone wants a slow, incest-tease RP or a close friend/boyfriend if interested in writing out an awkward relationship.
