There is a virus going around that dramatically alters people's heights. There has been a call for a regional quarantine to try to stop its spread.

We are located in a smallish town. All the panic and hubbub we've seen on the news seems more like a movie trailer or viral marketing campaign than something that could really happen - and certainly nothing that could happen here. The day comes and the Corps of Engineers blocks off the one road in or out of our town. But the virus is already here...

  • Everyone gets exposed eventually. Roll 1d20: if you roll a 20, you're immune to the virus.
  • If you're not immune, roll 1d10: this is the number of days after quarantine that you're affected.
  • Roll 2d20 and multiply the total by 8. This will be your new final height in cm.
  • Regardless of how tall you start or how tall you wind up, all height changes happen at 10cm/hr
  • All changes are proportional. Your whole size changes, not just your height, and you don't look any different other than size.
This is not a horror scenario. We collectively decide we're going to put up with this as best we can, and enjoy it if possible. We're going to work together to make sure everyone is clothed, fed, and comfortable while we wait for a cure. The primary mood is cute with a dash of embarrassment.

Introduce your character. Tell us briefly who you were before this started happening.

Interact! Propose a way your character might know another character and what their relationship might be like before, during, and after the outbreak. If that character's owner approves, go ahead and start playing out scenarios based on it.

As a reminder, this is a PG-13 roleplay.
