Concept:
It had always been the two of them—even across the miles, in different states—an unexplainable attraction since childhood. Love at first sight, some might say, a romantic notion. The two were inseparable when the families gathered, playing together, and when older, they would step out for walks or sit under the live oaks and he would read to her. Letters would be exchanged when they were separated, and gifts sent and accepted. Everyone knew they would marry. It was inevitable.

Fate, however, can be cruel and the young lady was made a widow.
Yellow Fever would steal him from her.

Now, she would reside in the house—but not alone—for his twin brother was alive.
It was disturbing, of how lost she was, and to see the very image of her husband so constant …almost was it maddening, the realm of realities fraying at the seams, tearing apart.

Fate, however, can be merciful, and there was the opportunity to marry, but this time for convenience.
Yet not every man is equal—not physically, not emotionally, not intellectually, not morally—and in time, she learns the odd cruelties of her new husband, something his twin never possessed and dark secrets are revealed.

Notes: Looking for a partner to write from the perspective of the husband, and who is comfortable creating NPCs and plot. Themes involved: life in the South on a Plantation, slavery, gender roles, marital duties, etc. Kinks: sexual tension, voyeurism, rough sex, possible NC (pending on partner and plot), obedience, spanking and whatever else suits the story.
