The Great Nekomimi Plague(Pathfinder seeker thread.)

Time for another attempt at a pathfinder game with interesting players and scenarios. Not going to devulge the story right now, but from the title you can make all sorts of naughty assumptions of what I have planned. What I do want from this is your classical D&D game, with wandering into forests and ruins looking for artifacts and all of that jazz. Have not DMed one of these games since forever, as there is always chances for naughty in these, if fitted right.

So prepare for plenty of traveling and wandering into a mix bag of messed up locales.

-3 Players.
-4d6 standard.
-Hit die are re-rolled in the case of a one or a two.
-Level 6
-18000 gp starting.
-Traits are a yes.
-Use the pathfinder srd.

Now go go go! A well rounded party of misfits and perverts will take priority over who gets their character in. So a combat/divine/arcane trio is what I am looking for.

And do remember, bribing the DM always works!

Ooooh.  I am certainly interested in a classical wandering adventure.  I've had a Magus character on my mind as of late that I've been dabbling with.  Given the smaller group size, I figured it couldn't hurt to have an arcane character who could also jump into the thick of things.  :D

Well outside of society's eye lies a nameless temple; this is where Cyrus was born and raised among a modest community of families who all have ancestors that were responsible for establishing the site centuries ago.  It is this isolation from civilization that keeps that particular site largely unknown; what few stories managed to spread are widely regarded as folklore.  One thing that has remained a closely guarded secret is the actual location of the temple; which is for good reason.  The tales of the mythical temple speak of a safeguarded treasure of immense wealth.  This is only partially true.  Yes, the relics within the temple walls are highly valuable, but those charged with protecting them would hardly consider them a treasure.  Nearly every artifact under the protection of those guardians contains malevolent entities of great power and manipulation of various, but significant magnitude.  The lesser of which is at least capable of provoking significant unrest in society, the greater could very easily spread destruction throughout the land should they fall in the wrong hands. 

This life of duty and obligation combined with the isolation from the world did not sit well with Cyrus.  In him burned a passion for adventure, something that the temple could not provide.  However, he had neither the method nor the resources to venture off on his own and had no success in obtaining any to join him.  Cyrus's situation wasn't unheard of among the temple, though the fact that those who left never returned remained a large deterrent for any upstart who had more common sense than arrogance.  News never returned about what fates befell those who ventured on their own.  Even those among them who were skilled at the art of scrying, responsible at keeping an eye upon civilization as a whole so the isolated clan never straggled too far behind the times, only rarely obtained successful results in their searches.  For years, Cyrus tried to garner what he needed to leave the sanctuary, but despite his efforts his dream never seemed to grow any closer to becoming a reality.

That was until the night his entire world flipped upside down in little more than a year ago.  Whether through chance, the intervention of a greater power, or fate during one of Cyrus's typical nightly wanderings, one of the heavy stone gargoyles adorning the structure's interior columns broke free and nearly crushed the meandering human.  It had been a close thing, but Cyrus managed to react quickly enough to dive out of the way before he could get caught beneath the statuary.  However, he had not looked before leaping and ended up careening into one of the small pedestals containing a lesser artifact.  The impact caused the sheathed blade to fall into his lap and the moment of physical contact awakened the entity within.  A whole week went by before Cyrus managed to reclaim his body from the influence of the dark bladed Rhoka, and much of his memories of what he had done during that time were little more than flashes and images.  Though he had plenty of time to get to know the weapon called Lasciel.

When he did regain himself, Cyrus found himself in a brothel laying upon a bed with several sleeping nude forms laying around him.  He had no idea where he was or how to find his way back home.  Not that he had much desire to do so; it was likely that the missing relic would have caused quite the commotion and he doubted he would be welcomed back with open arms.  It was even odds that his punishment for his actions, unintentional as they were, would either be a slap on the wrist or a prompt execution.  Cyrus felt little desire to make that bet; after all, he finally achieved what he had longed for.  Though there was just one catch; he was bound to the sword that made it all possible.

Lasciel wasn't a malevolent entity per se; but she was very fond of excess when it came to the vices that are frowned upon by a moral society, but not necessarily punished.  Even though Lasciel doesn't have a gender, what with being a sword, she largely regards herself as female despite that fact.  Furthermore, she had no objection to the gender of the body she attempts to possess since her drive for lust, gluttony, and sloth are not bounded by such trivial matters.  In fact, she has proven incapable of understanding the concept of morality and why mortals deny themselves opportunities that would certainly bring them great satisfaction.

Despite the fact that his was, for all intents and purposes, kidnapped upon their first meeting, the two had managed to forge a working partnership and tenuous friendship.  Cyrus was well aware that Lasciel wouldn't hesitate to retake his body given the proper motivation (and had managed to do so on numerous occasion) the man was glad to have the company in his travels.  Not to mention the power the blade provided him gave him the necessary edge needed to help ensure his survival.  To some degree, the two shared similar ideals, though Lasciel took them to extremes well beyond Cyrus's comfort level.  While he was content with bedding a woman and having a fair number of drinks, Lasciel was only content with bedding several people at once, paying no mind to insignificant matters such as gender, all while imbibing large quantities of alcohol and other illicit substances.

While it is, at times, an inconvenient partnership; Cyrus has grown fond of his new life and feels that he couldn't do without it.

I originally took Additional Traits as a feat, but in hindsight, I'll go ahead and change that.

As for the half elf thing, I mainly chose that for the +2 Will save racial trait to help keep the lustful sword in my possession from taking over my mind.  If you'd prefer, I can explore other options.

A very enigma for Pantea is indeed over a hundred years of age.  Of an actual age of a one hundred forty six years.   For her mother was a mortal woman and her father a scion of the night,  one of the lords of undead, a predator of the night an vampire.    Her mother a mere inn wench,  yet that noble baring is in her blood.   For her father long from his distant lands a Vicar from an age past.    Of an empire long forgotten and buried with the sands of time. 

It is the dances of that long forgotten empire that he passed onto her.   Taught to her as a teenager.   During a time when she knew not the truth.  Not the reason for her murderous rages for blood.   Blood it is not needed,  not for substances.   No it is craved for its delights a dark part of her.   It is the reason Pantea has walked the way of the four winds as a monk of the order.     To quiet those murderous urges.   For within her is the great capacity to also do good.  As she walks that balance through structured order.   

Still the enigma has many facets to it for her.   Unlike many of her kind who take vows of celibacy.   Pantea is the complete opposite with a craving for it a desperate need for it.   It is the knowing looks grandfathers and fathers give to sons  in remembering.    For hers is a vow of fornication.   The sexual energy is drawn into for her KI power.

yes Dhampir are offspring of a mortal and vampire.    Through not undead but alive,  although regular heal spells don't work on her.   They do damage,  where inflict spells heal her.

History: Rana grew up living right on the edge of civilization and wilderness, and more often than not, spent much of her time in the latter. Her father had been hoping for a son, but got a daughter instead. Rather than being disappointed by this, her father, Rani, took it in stride and raised her the same way he would have raised a son. She learned how to track, hunt and fish, as well as other skills needed for getting along in the wild. Life was good for Rana and her family, as the years went by. They first heard news of the plague about five months ago, due to them being rather isolated. Though to be on the safe side, Rani took it upon himself to go onto town by himself to sell the skins from the animals that he and Rana caught, so as to prevent Rana or his wife from being infected.

This worked fine for them, until a month ago, when he was caught off-guard by a rather angry Grizzly. He survived the encounter, but was far too injured to make any further trips into town. This left Rana to go in his stead, her first time since the plague started. The trip went fine, and she made some pretty good money off the skins, and by all appearances, she had not been infected, as her father feared might happen. However, a couple of weeks later, Rana has noticed some unsettling changes. Her nails grew and sharpened into claws and her senses and reflexes heightened. She feared that she may have contracted the plague, but as of yet, she hasn't shown any of the major signs, loss of language and cat ear/tail. Assuming it was only a matter of time, she fled from her home one night, leaving only a note seeking forgiveness from her parents.

Yeah might as well go with you over fallen. You have a track record of posting on time. As the pally you can be the healing battery, which is what is always important.

Yeah that can work. You're infected but it will take a while for the signs to appear, since you have adventurer levels and not as weak as your standard NPC girls. I ask this since having one of the infected in the party would make things very interesting and naughty. You would be quite valuable to the group from being able to understand feline and have enough intelligence to actually write and read your conversations to the party.

Also you did your skills wrong. The max ranks you can have per skill is 6, not 9. That charsheet software automatically adds the +3 for trained skills for pathfinder, so you don't need to compensate for that.

Ceara Flynn

History

   A farmer’s daughter, Ceara was never really cut out for country life. Short, and more then a bit weaker then average, she wasn’t really much help around the farm. On the other hand, the girl was quite bright... and so when an apothecary travelling back to the city mentioned she was searching for an apprentice, Ceara’s parents were quick to volunteer her.
Not that the girl really minded all that much... she missed her parents at first, of course, but she didn’t miss the hard work in the fields one bit... and, while it was a bit overwhelming at times, city life was wonderfully interesting. Even more fascinating, though, was her education... exotic herbs, strange potions, magical salves, more then she’d ever imagined. The girl took to her lessons well, and the woman who’d brought her to the city, while strict, was also an excellent teacher... and as Ceara grew older, a good friend as well. Her education was hardly confined to the shop, either... gathering some more exotic ingredients often involved travelling to rather dangerous locations, and learning to defend herself was something that was rather hard to avoid.
   Of course, that was before the plague hit. When it first began, Ceara’s employer was eager to help find a cure, and was often gone for days at a time as she traveled around the countryside, gather half-forgotten herbs and examining the infected. However, she’d always be back within the span of a week at most... until recently. Personality

   Ceara was, even as a child, something of a daydreamer... and years of inhaling alchemical fumes, of often using allnight herb in place of sleep, have left her more then a bit scatterbrained. That’s not to say that she’s dumb, on the contrary, she’s quite intelligent when it comes to her craft, and a quick learner... but she’s also easily distracted, more then a bit forgetful, and rather lacking in the common sense department.

Appearance

   Ceara’s bright red hair is almost always tied back in some way or another, to keep it from interfering with her work... however, while she has a bit of a preference for simple ponytails or pigtails, she does enjoy experimenting with other styles when she has the chance. Her skin is rather pale, having spent far more time in the shop or in caves then she’s spent out in the sun, and on her nose are perched a pair of thin-framed glasses... while she’s hardly blind without them, they do help a great deal, and she’s quite reluctant to take them off or set them down unless absolutely necessary. The young woman is a bit on the short side, with modest but attractive curves. She normally dresses in simple, but thick clothes, with a heavy apron for when she’s working, her wardrobe mostly oriented towards protecting her from accidental spills... though she’s also packed a few lighter garments as well that were once worn by her employer in the woman’s adventuring days.

Ceara Flynn

History

   A farmer’s daughter, Ceara was never really cut out for country life. Short, and more then a bit weaker then average, she wasn’t really much help around the farm. On the other hand, the girl was quite bright... and so when an apothecary travelling back to the city mentioned she was searching for an apprentice, Ceara’s parents were quick to volunteer her.
Not that the girl really minded all that much... she missed her parents at first, of course, but she didn’t miss the hard work in the fields one bit... and, while it was a bit overwhelming at times, city life was wonderfully interesting. Even more fascinating, though, was her education... exotic herbs, strange potions, magical salves, more then she’d ever imagined. The girl took to her lessons well, and the woman who’d brought her to the city, while strict, was also an excellent teacher... and as Ceara grew older, a good friend as well. Her education was hardly confined to the shop, either... gathering some more exotic ingredients often involved travelling to rather dangerous locations, and learning to defend herself was something that was rather hard to avoid.
   Of course, that was before the plague hit. When it first began, Ceara’s employer was eager to help find a cure, and was often gone for days at a time as she traveled around the countryside, gather half-forgotten herbs and examining the infected. However, she’d always be back within the span of a week at most... until recently.
