Babylon 5 Interest group?

I've recently been re-watching the series, I forgotten how truly brilliant it was.

Anyone else interested in doing something set in this wonderful verse?

My initial response is HELLS YEAH!

But then I worry about my flameout rate on sandbox groups.  Will keep an eye on this, see how it goes.

I'd have to put my hand up for this as well, with either original or canon characters.

I share the voiced concern for potential flare out though, but am putting this here to keep an eye on this!

I think Sandbox would work.

I know what I want my Earth Force Human character to be and a backstory for her.

I think pretty much every B5 character had such a good send off we couldn't touch their endings.

I guess Elisabeth Lockley could still be B5s captain?

But I figure shed need a new first officer, security chef, medical officer and a telepath.

Not to mention a whole new set of Ambassador's.

I could see original characters staffing positions in a Lockley era B5 station, in a sandbox setting.

I could definitely imagine a security chief character...

I mean, it's our (assuming I'm accepted in) fanfiction. If we want, Lockley can get transferred, promoted, killed, to make room for our OC's to take over.

I might be interested in the telepath.

I'm only familiar with the original TV series (not the movies and follow-up series). If I recall correctly, the series ended with B5 being decommissioned. Is the idea for this being set before that? Or is this a reboot with new characters?

Ps. The station keeps on running a good two decades after the series before getting decommissioned. Easy enough to fit some serious plots in.
