Personality: There is a fire to her personality she is impulsive, combative, and can be rough around the edges. In fact, you may be surprised to learn that her fiery persona of nowadays is a rather controlled heat compared to her past. She doesn't do anything by halves. When she commits to an idea or a job she sees it through come success, failure, or broken bones. She has powerful confidence in herself given her many trials and tribulations she has survived. While this doesn't exactly help her get close to or trust others, it can take a lot to get past her initial emotional defenses, she is so self-assured that she finds it relatively easy to work with others. It won't matter if they fail or coward out, she is sure she can survive well enough on her own if they do. That being said, if you manage to get past her hard shell, you'll find a young elf who hasn't had a lot of experience dealing with softer emotions and can be easily confused and flustered by rather simple signs of affection from the people she truly comes to care for and trust.

Weapon/Magic: Their fists and feet are their primary weapons, thanks to her raw talent and years as a brawling pit fighter being refined by a true master of hand-to-hand combat she has become a spectacular practitioner of unarmed battle. her fighting style has been further complimented and specialized thanks to her innate talent for wind magic. Using it to add to her speed and mobility as well as coming in handy for mid-ranged attacks and defense against projectiles if she acts quick enough.

Background: The Coup of Uruk's throne had many ripples large and small. And though the ripples that hit Lash were among the smaller in the grand scale of the world, to her they seemed an all-consuming wave.  She was still just a child when Her parents had been city guards who unfortunately fought and died on the losing side. Her uncle briefly took up her care, what little care he had to spare. He was a harsh, hateful man with a variety of vices that had no time in his life for a heartbroken child. It wasn't too long before she was sold to some underground gang leader to settle gambling debts.

Now in a sense, Lash was lucky. A tender young girl sold off to a hardened criminal could have ended poorly for her in a variety of ways that don't bear describing. That being said, the fate that awaited her was hardly a pleasant one. You see the man she was sold to ran an underground fighting pit, where slaves fought slaves and beasts fought beasts, or sometimes a mix thereof. She was tossed in with little more than a rusty dagger to face half-starved desert wolves. This was expected to be a bit of light slaughter, some bloody spectacle to whet the sick appetites of the patrons of the battle pit. Terrified and cornered she didn't have much of a choice, she fought for her life...and she survived much to everyone's surprise. Leveraging what combat basics her parents had taught her and an innate talent for wind magic she was able to survive each time she was tossed into the pit.

Years pass, the small girl becomes a young woman, and one of the star attractions of the pit. By now she was a fierce brawler, a bare-knuckle fighter, light on her feet and brutal in her blows. She assumed that this was just going to be her life forever now. Surviving from fight to bloody fight. Then one day everything changed. She was sitting in her room, if you could call the cramped cell with hardly large enough for her rickety little cot a room, tending to her wounds from rather a rough fight with an orc almost twice her size when her owner showed up with a human she had never seen around the holding cells of the pit before. It was explained that this man had purchased her, and she was to go with him.

She had just assumed she was fighting for a new pitmaster, maybe a private slave owner and gambler who brought their own pets to fight for coin. You can imagine her surprise when the man took her to a secluded space and asked her to come at him with all she had. You can imagine her even greater surprise when the middle-aged human defeated her with extreme ease. As she lay on the ground tired and bruised from what had turned into hours of her trying to land a solid blow on the stranger who had bought her from the pit, he took a seat beside her and finally introduced himself. His name was Sid, and as far as he was concerned he had bought her freedom explained, she had no obligation to follow or listen to him now that their sparing session was done. She could go out and see what life she could make on her own. "That being said," he continued "you have now seen what I am capable of, and I think you could be capable of the same thing".  He said he was a mercenary and a monk, some shady co-worker from his last job had brought him down to the pit as a thank you for saving his life, and while he found the whole display rather disgusting, and he had been impressed by her talent for empty-handed combat. He spent a great deal of his money to free her because he was hopeful that she would be willing to become his apprentice.

"Now I can't imagine the life you lived that put you in that terrible pit. I will not force you to learn my ways...but if you want strength like mine, I will gladly share it with you."

It didn't take long for Lash to decide yes. Freedom and strength to defend that freedom were more than she ever dreamed to ask for. From there she spent the next decade of her life traveling with Sid, working mercenary jobs and training under his wing. Now she travels on her own, Sid has decided to retire from the mercenary life and open up a little dojo in a small town somewhere.

Strengths (Must have 3):
Determined: Lash takes to tasks with a fiercely competitive nature, she likes to excel, she likes to receive praise, and to that end, she will work hard even through a rough and frustrating situation

Well Traveled: Thanks to their time as an apprentice to their master they did a lot of traveling for various mercenary jobs around the world, they knew more than a bit about just about all the major cities and the roadways between them.

Seedy upbringing: Thanks to growing up enslaved to the criminal underbelly of her home city she knows more than she'd like to about how criminal organizations work. She has a talent for spotting shady people up to no good which she enjoys, she also is good at getting in contact and striking deals with criminal types if she really needs to, which she normally dislikes. but she will admit it has come in handy before.

Weaknesses (Must have 3):
Stubborn: The flip side of her determination is this. She can be stubborn to a fault, her inability to let go of an idea or a grudge has often been the biggest source of conflict in her life.

Unrefined: She is not exactly known for her patients or her manners. Her diplomatic skills are all but non-existent.

Emotionally stunted: Given their trauma and history they have a great deal of trouble forming long-lasting emotional bonds. She is more comfortable with the brief transactional relationship of business than anything that comes out of affection or love.

Sexual Preferences: A verse switch who has something of a service vibe. When in dominant situations she tends to be very much about their partner's pleasure rather than their own, usually comfortable with most of what their partner might want to try out. Similarly in a sub situation, she surrenders herself to her partner's pleasure, riding the waves of their enjoyment of her body.

Likes: Hot food, warm bath, soft bed

Dislikes: Criminals, slavers, being hungry

Personality: Others call people of the Northern Regions wildlings, and not in a good way. They consider northern people as dirty and uncivilized brutes who are violent and unpredictable. They aren’t completely wrong.

Anjira is a fearless hunter and fighter. She can be stubborn and patient, which combined together with her short temper makes her a complex creature. Anjira gets bored easily and she is quick to jump from words into action, without thinking of the consequences. If something annoys her, she will tell it openly and her short temper makes her get angry at the drop of a hat. To outsiders, Anjira might come off as rude… Though she isn’t rude on purpose, there is a cultural difference between the people of the north and the south. She is tactless and blurts things meaning to be honest, but it’s often seen as being inconsiderate or rude. The kitsu is a curious personality and she is awfully loyal to those she considers as her own people.

Weapon/Magic: Anji’s weapon of choice are twin swords. She is great at shooting with a bow and arrow too, but most of the time she uses swords. She is familiar with other types of weapons, like glaives and spears, but she is mediocre at best at using them.

Anjira’s clan is known for both physical and magical prowess. The field of magic Anjira is specialised is intangibility magic. With her magic she is able to both pass through physical obstacles (both living and inanimate) as well as make objects incorporeal for a short duration of time. Using the magic for a longer time comes with huge drawbacks. If Anjira uses the intangibility magic more than in short bursts she risks becoming temporarily blind. There are horror stories of those who used the magic for too long and became living ghosts as they couldn’t finish the spell anymore. 

Background: Anjira was born into the Vanlith Clan as a shameful memento of her mother’s rape. Despite that, Jukan (the husband of Anjira’s mother) took Anjira into the clan as her daughter. Anjira had two older siblings, Gare and Indira who were born in the marriage. Some people disliked her, openly or secretly, but there were good people who thought she should be judged by her own actions, not by who she was. Anjira’s brother and sister loved her and in return Anjira adored them.

The people of the north had more problems than cold environment that made farming almost impossible and killed those who got lost in hypothermia; foul and unearthly beasts invoked by ancient and forbidden rituals, and the lesser creatures that followed in their wake. Monsters roamed the frigid woods, icy plains, and arctic caverns all over the region. The Vanlith clan had been known as monster hunters for generations and as such they were highly respected. Naturally, Anjira became a monster hunter just like her siblings and father. She learnt how to use magic, how to track, how to hunt, how to survive in the wilderness and most importantly, how to kill monsters.   

Anjira wanted to marry for love, but she was unlucky in her love life. The man who promised to marry her fell in love with another woman and abandoned Anjira without a second thought. Soon after that the lonely kitsu found a new companion as her third Calling succeeded. The Calling was an ancient ritual, where a young hunter followed her inner calling to find and tame a beast, who would bond with her for life. Anjira bonded with Mesmerz, a great draglacer, a beast that was considered powerful and rare.

A few years later a group of hunters, including Anjira and Indira, met a group of Therions. They thought they were a real tribe and they had tried to persuade the Vanlith clan in alliance with them, but they were just a bunch of lowly criminals with goals seemingly beyond their scope and understanding. The meeting of the two groups soon escalated into a fight. In that fight Anjira lost her dear sister and her beloved beast Mesmerz among other clan members. The loss fueled her hatred and will to seek revenge on the people who were responsible for the death of her loved ones.

Ultimately, these negative feelings led Anjira to Fort Geruska, where she found out about a Therion who was waiting for his execution in the Stockade. The Therion had been involved with the group that was behind the murder of Indira, at least prior to these events. He told Anji many things, many of them she believed were just lies to preserve his life… Nevertheless, she arranged to release the man from prison in exchange of becoming her slave and helping her to find the culprits. They had a mutual goal of killing the leader of the group to put a stop to their plans, but neither could have forseen the chaos that would arise from their plots until it was too late.

Strengths: Huntress - Anjira is an experienced hunter. She is especially familiar with how to tread in colder terrains. She has the basic survival and hunting skills any decent hunter should have.

Beast Master - To be a great hunter one must know her prey. Anjira has a vast knowledge of different kinds of beasts and monsters. In addition she might be able to gain a beast ally, if she would try to perform the Calling ritual again.

Survival of the Fittest - The harsh environment has made Anji tough as nails. She has admirable endurance and she can run long distances. The kitsu is strong for her size and agile as a little monkey.

Weaknesses: Ignorant - Anjira has lived her whole live in the Northern Region. She knows much about the terrain, creatures and people there, but her knowledge of the world outside is pretty much like a void. Anjira is ignorant of the history and culture of the world outside her home region.

Possessive - Anjira doesn’t share. She is very possessive of her belongings. What is hers, is hers and she is extremely reluctant to lend or give away something she considers as hers.

Reckless - Anjira’s recklessness together with her short tempered personality is a volatile combination. When she loses her nerves and goes on a war path, she doesn’t care how big or dangerous her enemy is. Anjira is reckless enough to tackle opponents she can’t win.

Honorable - One might wonder how being honorable is a weakness. To Anjira honor as her clan sees it means the world. She cannot lie and if she makes a promise she must keep it no matter what.

Sexual Preferences: Ons IC:(Cock)teasing, cuddling, plot twists, masculine chars (of others), funny and awkward moments, rough play, S&M. OOC: Communication, trust (We rp together. If there is something one wishes or has a problem with, my DMs are always open and I’m ready to work to make things work for us). Making smaller or bigger plots together.

Oh yeah I guess the yoga pants aren’t exactly fantasy wear xD

At the moment I was thinking something along the likes of an outfit like Street Figters’ Ibuki, give her those silted pants that show off those nice legs but also help catch the wind for her fighting style, probably give her the pull up mask as well to keep the dust and dirt she might kick up out of her nose and mouth, or to keep her identity on the down low if she suspects anyone in a given town might be connected enough to the criminal under world to recognize her from her slave fighting days. That seem okay outfit wise?

Personality (Please be descriptive): A woman of exquisite beauty, Aoide matches such looks with her personality, beguiling and equally entrancing. A flirt some may call her, undeterred by suggestions of declining her offers, she is a woman that gets what she wants, no matter the outcome. What's deemed hers, is hers alone, and only she may be the one to use, abuse, and otherwise toy with whatever her possessions may be; human, or otherwise. Determined to have anything that she herself desires, she comes off as brash, but more so in her own sense of world, and purpose. Others that do not fit in her grand life of her own making simply may spectate at her wonder and glory, and even more, could become apart of her world; that is, if she has a spot for you to take. It is an honor to gaze upon her, and while some may call her selfish and self centered, they are merely jealous of her beauty and resources.

More confidant than anything, Aoide prides herself in her work and prowess alone, knowing that what she has, and more so what she is worth to in her own eyes, belittles any petty words and nonsense that is cast upon her. Those that know her true strength and prowess merely stay silent, for they know that within those beautiful golden eyes, lays a cracked shell underneath...

Weapon/Magic: Aoide wields a modified broadsword that resembles that of a cross. Gigantic in stature and frame, skilled hunstman and warriors alike wonder how such a woman of curvaceous form and figure could wield such a weapon.

While Aoide does not know how to cast magic, some of have taken notice to the strange marking along the crest of her forehead, resembling that of the roman numerical 'Five'. Those that have tried to ask her the reasoning behind it, however, are suddenly met with an icy glare, and a silent warning...

Background (What has lead you to where you are today?): Aoide's past is something of a subject of contempt for the woman, as very little know where exactly she came from. Some say she had come from the mountains far to the north, having come on a journey to gain wealth and riches, while others heard she came from an island from the sea. Regardless, Aoide doesn't let the mystery of her past deter her, as she believes that the present is far more important (because she is in the present, and all eyes must be on her).

Aoide has come and gone through many a town, and while some may know of her beauty, others have heard very little of the mysterious woman in most towns. Merely a fable from some within the local taverns, she's been known to be called "The Golden Woman", as those that notice her cannot seem to turn their gaze away from her; most notably, that of the male gaze.

Strengths (Must have 3):

Beauty: Aoide's beauty is a weapon in itself, as she is known to use it to beguile and bewitch men into her grasp. Whatever purpose she may need them for, those who may become ensnared may wish to be careful, as her intentions may be less than holy.

Strength: Aoide's strength has been matched by that of the toughest and strongest of warriors in the nearing kingdoms. While others cannot seem to fathom how a young woman could have such strength, Aoide uses her skills for battle, and for combat against those that dare oppose her.

Confidence: Aoide's confidence in herself and her capabilities seems boundless, as she knows that she is bewitching in both her looks, and skills. While those may think of her as self-centered, she only finds them to be jealous and envious of her. Listening to Aoide exudes a confidence in her abilities to lead, most notably in plans of attack and in more personal matters to her.

Weaknesses (Must have 3):

Past: Aoide's past is a mystery to practically everyone around her, and only she knows the truth. Whatever it is seems to be a sore subject to her, and even more so, a dangerous one to bring up. Those that have dared try to pry into her more personal matters have been heard to suddenly lose interest, and even more worrying, to disappear all together.

Self-Centeredness: While Aoide sees this as nothing more than a plus to herself, others may find it less than appealing. Aoide cares about herself more than anyone in the world, and those that are around her are simply tools or toys for her to play with and use as she sees fits. While this may not be of any concern to her, her friendships are few and far in between. Those that serve her simply do so to be with her, or for other potential gains or means to an end. Try not to get too attached to her beauty, for Aoide may simply use you to continue her means for her true plan; one that is still shrouded in mystery...

Selfishness: Aoide is a selfish woman; while she may not see that, it is clear to others that she cares only about herself and the things that she desires. The ground she walks on is treasured ground, and things that she wants and desires are top priority. Gold, jewels, clothes, weapons, men, women; all that she wants is hers to have, and hers alone. Those that wish to work with her soon find out that Aoide is not that type to share unless forced to, and whatever she desires, she will have, no matter what.

We’ll we are looking for more villains to be antagonists over the course of the game. If possible it could always be the came of a good person going to the evil side due to some sort of circumstances as well. Please message me if you have any ideas or questions :D

Undead as in like a zombie?

Personality: Beldryn is a very pragmatic person with a sharp head on his shoulders, oft making him the default tactician, advisor, or confidant of his adventurer parties. He functions best when he has a clear goal that needs to be or he personally wants to achieve. This tends to make him a workaholic at times, but he usually knows when he’s starting to push himself too much.

Weapons: A variety of weapons, such as one-handed swords and axes, daggers, war hammers, and more. He is also proficient with the bow and arrow, as well as crossbows when it comes to ranged weaponry.

Magic: Anti-magic aka dispel-magic aka spell-breaking. A type of magic most commonly used by mage hunters and templars, but occasionally also practiced by the odd adventurer, though they’d usually have to go out of their way to seek out tutelage for it. As the various names for the type of magic imply, it serves primarily to dispel the magic of others, but advanced spells and hexes can also do such things as reflect spells or hurt/injure a target when they attempt to cast magic.

Background: Beldryn Amryss was a silver-ranked adventurer. His parents had been adventurers, as well, but retired once his mother became pregnant and they instead became training instructors for the guild branch located in the town of First Light. Growing up to become an adventurer, as well, he eventually rose to the silver rank before the faithful day that irreversibly changed his life occurred.

It had been a day like most others. Having returned from a fairly standard monster hunting quest in the area, Beldryn and his party returned to First Light. Taking the opportunity to visit his parents, whom he’d not seen since before the change of seasons, it was not long after that the town was swallowed up in an instant by what would later be called “The Wilds.” Beldryn Armryss and everyone else in the town disappeared that day, never to be heard from again.

Or so it was thought.

Two centuries would pass. Then, one day, without any apparent reason, Bel was flung out of the mist somewhere along the border of the Wilds. With no recollection of his time in the mists of the Wild and seemingly not having aged a day, it took him some time to find his bearings, especially after he found out how much time had passed. Now, as a mysterious traveler, he is constantly pushed forward by a faint whisper in the back of his head, one that told him that the mythical jewels could hold the key to dispelling the mist and uncovering what had happened to his parents, his party, and the town of First Light.

Strengths:

Versatile Adventurer - Beldryn is an experienced adventurer with extensive training with various weapons and other skills, such as trap- and tool-making. This makes him incredibly flexible in various scenarios -- and not just combat-related ones.

Knowledge of the Past - Remembering the world of two hundred years ago as if it were just yesterday, he has knowledge of things that were more common than that are now either incredibly rare, have become misconstrued due to time and circumstance, or have been lost completely altogether.

Spell-Breaking - This type of anti-magic is one example of skill and knowledge he possesses that has become nearly lost over the course of two hundred years.

Weaknesses:

Obsession - Beldryn is borderline obsessed with finding the jewels. While it is understandable, given his situation, it can sometimes come across as unnerving how badly he wants to find the jewels and what he’s prepared to do to achieve this goal.

Knowledge of the Present - Beldryn is still adjusting to the current day. A lot has changed in two centuries and he learns new things every day.

Lurking Within - What has happened to him in the mists of the Wilds and why he was expelled from it now, after two centuries, remains a mystery to him. What Bel doesn’t realize is that he didn’t leave there… alone.

What exactly are you looking for out of a proper villain?  Someone to essentially help plot along the adventure and provide a consistent stream of minions and underlings to combat?  Or are you looking for a villain that is more small in scope, like a single foe?

Normally a villain has to have a good amount of control over the plot and setting, otherwise they lose all their agency.  So a few questions on that:

- Just how much control over the plot do you want your villain(s) to have?
- Just how much control over the world building (or destruction) do you want your villain to have?
- Relatively what amount of 'kink' are you looking for in a villain?  Ex: an army of sex-less violent orcs that just want to kill everyone in front of them OR an army of orcs that raid and rape everything in sight, including players?

I would like if more people left could create villain characters that could either be used as a main antagonist, or a confrontation that occurs every so often, someone that continues to get within the hero’s path for some reason or another. I want villains so the plot also helps move along, but I also want to make sure that the parties involved are able to RP freely rather than waiting until the villain has to appear, you know?

In terms of control of world building, I would love to at least be able to collaborate in ideas and make sure nothing is too large of scale. Anything like world building needs to do by me first in order that it doesn’t break any rules, or good mod all over the place.

In terms of kink, I like to think it’s a bit subjective. Whatever you think works for whatever villain you decide create, as long as it purely isn’t for like, shock value or something, is alright. Any ideas or concerns would once again go through me, just to be safe.

Name: The Overlord

Race (Human, Halfling, Orc, Fairy, etc.): Human?

Sexual Orientation: Straight

Personality (Please be descriptive): The man who was once a hero finds himself particularly jaded, having seen how easily heroes can succumb to temptation and corruption. Despite his often direct and brutal application of force, the Overlord views himself as a noble tyrant and protects those villages under his control. He is fiercely protective of what he views as his, but is surprisingly content to stay within his own boundaries. The minions under his command are often treated like children, scolded when they err and yet strangely precious to their master. This treatment means that the minions serve their master with a loyalty beyond their simple bondage to the Tower Heart.

Ignoring his primary advisor's recommendations of "keeping up tradition", the Overlord consciously avoids typical acts of villainy. His servants do not fear execution (short of treason) and he limits the tithes from his serfs. A starving farmer is desperate, after all... Unlike his predecessors, the Overlord does not keep a harem of slave girls for his own amusement. Instead, he finds himself pining for a "Dark Lady" to share his Tower. Why, then, does he dream of a woman in white...?

Most of the Overlord's time is occupied by making improvements to the Dark Tower and its armory. Ambassadors, messengers, and emissaries from other kingdoms are typically greeted in the Tower throne room where the Overlord treats with them in a firm but fair manner. Currently, he is investigating a project to create a regiment of wolf-riding Browns to act as patrols and shock cavalry for his forces...

Weapon/Magic (What weapon do you wield? Can you cast magic?): The Overlord favors one-handed swords, axes, and maces as his primary weapons. His fighting style favors slow, heavy swings with devastating overhead strikes. The Overlord's plate armor is magically strengthened to protect him, but it also makes him slow. His magic focuses on the lore of fire, allowing him to cast burning gouts of flame from his hands, wreathe himself in flames to burn those who get too close, and even enchant the weapons of his minions.

Background (What has lead you to where you are today?): Once, he was a hero. One of eight, to be exact, but the details of his life before that are hazy even to himself. Was he a mercenary who fought for gold, not Good, but had a change of heart? Was he a simple guard who rose to the challenge? Or had he been a poor farmer who had been pushed to his breaking point?

Whatever the case, that man died and the Overlord, third of his name, rose to take his place. The broken body of the hero was recovered by the minions and mended over several years deep within the confines of the Dark Tower. When he awoke, the new Overlord was informed that he had killed the previous Overlord and that, surprisingly, he had been selected by the minions as their new master. As the Overlord healed and struggled to return to the world, he found that his former comrades had given in to petty vices. The land and its people suffered from their depredations and squabbles until the Overlord sallied forth and hunted them down one by one. Now, with his own corner of the world secure, the Overlord began fortifying and fully embracing his new role as tyrant. Rather than listening to the vile advice of Gnarl, the oldest and most twisted of the Browns, the new Overlord tempered his iron grip with a velvet glove of safety and fairness. Was this what little remained of his former self, or an innate understanding of the Overlord's true role...?

When Black and White came down to Earth, it dawned on them that the world was not neatly divided between their works. Grey, twilight, and moral ambiguity bled in the boundaries between their polar opposites. Black found himself trapped in Deus's world, unable to craft his own paradise for him and White. His corruption and rebellion had forever changed the world, resulting in mortal creatures that could bear a mask of White while Black seethed beneath with waiting jaws. Black recognized that, while he resented the humans for their favored status and easy lives, his negative outpouring into the world would swallow all of White's beautiful creations from within. He had meant to punish the humans, not his beloved White. To confront his own literal demons, Black created a counter-measure for mortals using the last of his celestial power: the Tower Heart.

Created from a jewel gathered beyond the heavens, the Tower Heart acts as a focus for Black's well of power. A specially chosen mortal could be used to keep Black and White in check... at least, that was the idea. Black's power appealed to those with the strongest negative emotions, Black's gift to humanity, and the title of Overlord was born. Dark and twisted creatures called minions were tied to the Tower Heart as its servants, a last gasp of the new world that Black had sought to create. With the combined boons of Black's burning resentment made manifest as fire, the devoted allegiance of the minions, and a specially wrought fortress, the previous two Overlords held their titles for centuries before being overthrown by heroes. Will this new Overlord fall short of his legacy... or perhaps steer his lands back toward Balance?

Strengths (Must have 3):

  • Minions: The Overlord's greatest strength is a small army of minions that follow his command. Goblin-like creatures with ties to the elements, they come in four different varieties: brown, red, blue, and green. Browns are the fighters and laborers, stronger than the average human despite their small size. The Browns' natural affinity for blacksmithing, weapons, and armor is only matched by their ability to improvise weapons out of objects. Reds are horned minions that are devilish in appearance and can hurl palm-sized balls of fire at their foes. Immune to fire themselves, Reds can actually eat fire and are often used for fire control around the Dark Tower. Greens are scouts, sneaks, and assassins with the ability to turn invisible when completely still... It's too bad that their smell can't be invisible! Greens are also immune to poison and are completely at home in dense vegetation. Finally, Blues are the most pacifistic (read: whimpy) of the minions. Blues make up for their lack of combat prowess by using their natural healing powers on other minions, having the unique ability of swimming in water, and being immune to natural and arcane magic.

    When assembled together into a fighting band, the minions are a force to be reckoned with. These creatures do have weaknesses, however. Their mental capacities are more like those of older children and they are often distracted by music, crude humor, clobbering animals, and drinking. As creatures of instinct, minions rarely possess long-term planning or overarching strategic skills. Those who possess artisan skills are usually kept at the Tower. While minions are dangerous when dogpiling on an opponent, they are less effective in single combat and no real match for a true hero.
  • The Regalia of the Overlord: The arms and armor of the Overlord have been custom-tailored to give him enhanced strength, stamina, toughness, and a few extraordinary abilities. His fearsome helm as a mental conduit for his minions, allowing them to follow his orders with a mere thought while within close proximity to him. An armored gauntlet with a mounted gem acts as a magical battery for him as well as enabling his access to fire magics.
  • The Dark Tower: A stronghold of stone and iron that is his base of operations. It looms above the surrounding countryside and even mountain peaks like an accusatory finger up at the heavens. Beyond serving as a simple stronghold and lair for the Overlord to maintain his minions and treasury, it also functions as his home and a protective shield for the Tower Heart artifact that fuels his magical power.

Weaknesses (Must have 3):

  • The Tower Heart: The source of the Overlord's magic is tied to the Tower Heart crystal artifact buried in the heart of his Dark Tower. Should it ever be destroyed, he will lose access to all his magic. His magic is also limited while away from the Tower, only storing a small reservoir within the jewel in his gauntlet that needs be recharged.
  • Lumbering: Strong and tough as he is, the Overlord is far from nimble, speedy, or agile. His imposing stature has significant difficulty keeping up with a skirmishing opponent. He also has difficulty dodging sudden or surprise attacks. (Also, don't tell him this, but his parrying could use a little work...)
  • Territorial: Normally, the Overlord can afford to be patient and plan his next move. Killing his minions en masse, burning his stores, or encroaching on his lands in force, however, will prompt him to personally seek out the transgressors. These displays of vengeful temper can be exploited by those who understand him.

Personality: Aggressive, power-hungry and domineering, Dismas wishes for everything under the sky and even beyond to be his. He is not beyond using ill-gotten means or dirty tricks to get his way. Dismas is also extremely confident to the point of abject arrogance, his abilities with combat well above the norm. Dismas acts however he needs to and comes up with convoluted plans to get people to do his bidding, even act completely opposite to how he normally is. Though, even Dismas has his moments of weakness where he lets up and allows himself to open up emotionally but he tries to keep that tightly shut.

Weapon/Magic: An ornate greatsword with various runes and jewels embedded along the blade. He can cast a multitude of magic but is entirely unable to cast healing magic or use his buffs on others.

Background: Dismas comes from a pampered background, everything was handed to him and he accepted it as matter of fact. Everything he wanted, he got it, without question. Except for one thing, the woman he fell in love with. Due to the nature of this affair, it ultimately led him to being cast out, but he hadn't lost the feelings he had for the woman and still plots to reunite with her and make her his under any means necessary. Dismas is heavily embedded into the "underworld," or the "behind-the-scenes" of the current society. With his fingers and watchful eyes in every aspect, very little gets past him. Getting to this position quickly was only possible because he wields unfettered violence as his personal weapon, putting everyone in a position of power in the underworld under his as his loyal servants. A king in his own regard, even cast out from his family, he lives a life as or even more extravagant as ever.

Strengths:
- Boss of the Underworld: Aside from the power he has, Dismas also gets a lot of information and an established network of powerful contacts.
- Prowess in Battle: Strong instincts and expert use of all manner of weaponry and magic.
- Very worldly: Knows a lot about the world around him and history as a whole, allowing him to draw from many perspectives and think in different ways from multiple contexts.

Name: Atmas Eonian, the “Red Knight”

Personality (Please be descriptive): Contrary to his reputation for ruthlessness, Atmas was a rather laid-back figure even with many who crossed blades with him. Everyone else was trapped in the same rat race as he was, what was there to be so upset about? Life outside the battlefield was meant to be enjoyed, and Atmas was as ready to share a drink with someone as he was to stab them in the back for the right price.

A tall man standing around 6’3” with a chiselled, muscular frame to boot, Atmas would’ve been very hard to not take notice of were it not for the more fantastical races that inhabited the same realm as he did. Though seeming to be an ordinary human, Atmas’ travels and outlook on life left him with little to no reservations about enjoying his time off of the road in their company, whether it be in the bar or the boudoir – with the right company, preferably both. Enjoying his downtime to the fullest, Atmas was enjoyed games of chance, fine food and exquisite drinks with special blends of whiskey being his favourite.

This relaxed demeanour belied the reality of Atmas’ craft outside of leisure. Everyone did what they had to survive, and Atmas believed in that to the fullest. He was a mercenary through and through, and there were few jobs too dirty or dangerous for him should the price be right. For Atmas, his enemies should not curse him or what he did to them, but if they were to curse anything, it would have to be the fate they all shared. One day’s allies could be the next one’s enemies, and Atmas would make sure that he’d be the one to live another day.

This did leave him entirely indifferent to others or without any principles of his own. A student of the blade all his life, Atmas respected the strength of others and especially valued physical courage, whether these qualities were self-serving or not. It was better to go down fighting than whimper at your last moments. He likewise appreciated those who felt free to live their life to the fullest and those determined to pursue their goals above everything. Strength of will was strength as well.

Weapon/Magic (What weapon do you wield? Can you cast magic?): Atmas wields the Salamander, the two-handed Flamberge of the Red Knight. While unable to wield magic of his own, Atmas can as the Red Knight invoke the flames sealing within his sword to envelop his enemies while leaving him unarmed. Due to the great length of his blade, Atmas may be as likely to grip the blade with his gauntlet to wield it as a makeshift spear as he is to cut his enemies with a precise swing.

Background (What has led you to where you are today?): Atmas’ early origins are shrouded in mystery. Orphaned at a young age, he emerged from the swelling mass of the neglected, forgotten and damned as a street urchin with an unnervingly steady knife for someone of his age, his one prized talent that let him earn his keep in the mercenary underworld which swallowed the lives of those who fell across the edge of society. Bringing him the only station and ounce of security in his life that he had known, Atmas fostered his skills with the blade in the knowledge that he’d always have a place in the shadows of polite society as long as he was better than the man or woman he’d have to face.

But as not even the greatest champion would remain undefeated forever, it was no shock that the boy Atmas more than met his match sooner than later. Yet his journey had not come to an end, but just begun. The swordsman he’d been sent to kill with the other assistants, a man known only as the Red Knight in the underworld, took notice of the youth’s skill and spared his life, taking the young Atmas under his wing, bringing him up as his mercenary squire and most loyal cohort.

That was over ten years ago, and the Red Knight has long since passed away. Carrying on his legacy, the now adult Atmas took on his foster father’s regalia and moniker as the new Red Knight. While he had never known a secure existence, his maturity and tutelage had brought him to a sense of peace with his condition. He no longer felt the fear, anxiety or anger towards his enemies that he once had, believing that neither he nor them could ultimately change their fate. The fact that life was transient made the pleasures of life, fine food, drink, and women that much sweeter.

While his time to go would one day come, Atmas had resolved to life the way he always had, doing anything to survive. When his blade would be raised, it would always be in the service of the highest bidder. Though he did not resent his adversaries, neither did he feel pity for those that would stand between him and his ambitions. He had always fought to survive, but, one day, his trusted blade would bring him from the shadows to his rightful place in the Sun.

Strengths (Must have 3):

  • -Master swordsman: Having survived his early years as a street urchin solely due to his aptitude with the blade, Atmas has dedicated nearly his entire life to living and breathing the art of swordsmanship. It’s here rather than in any magical or inhuman might where the Red Knight’s reputation springs from with practice, precision and prediction ensuring that his blade finds it way through his opponent’s defence and halts their offense.
  • -Battle-forged: Though not bestowed with a naturally powerful body at birth as some more physical races have, years of practice has forged Atmas’ body near the peak of human male physical limits. To support the many needs of his work, Atmas has found a happy medium with his body: the musculature of his tall frame is chiselled and well-defined to make him strong, but not to a point where his bulk would impair his agility and endurance on the battlefield or on long journeys. Though cutting an impressive figure with faded scars that tell his tale, Atmas’ lean frame is the best of both worlds for him, leaving him expertly in most physical tasks while conceding the peak of mastery to those who’ve dedicated their bodies to a singular goal.
  • -Stamina: When his coin has been earned, Atmas has always been fast to spend it on good food, strong drink, and beautiful women. While this has been as much a weakness of his as a strength, it has left him with an iron stomach of a strong drinker and the endurance of an experienced lover. While earning that coin, his stamina has helped him survive on the longest of marches and in the barest of conditions.
Weaknesses (Must have 3):

  • -Hedonistic: While not shying away from the harsh things that make the good life possible, Atmas has never been the one to save for a rainy day. Whether it be high bets, extravagant accommodations, or whatever amusements happen to draw his curiosity, Atmas rarely turns down a good time, which often leads him to pursue his next payment all the sooner as money just doesn’t seem to stay in his purse for long.
  • -Short-sighted: Though most certainly a man with his own life philosophy, Atmas has never been book learned. While this has not deprived him of common sense, it combines with his hedonistic impulses to cloud his judgment, especially when it comes to long-term planning. While dedicated to see his contracts through, Atmas is unlikely to pay much mind to his employer’s overarching goals, rather focusing on those particulars of his mission that get him paid.
  • -Legacy: Though the previous Red Knight made him the man he is today; his legacy isn’t one without restriction to Atmas. While no chivalric figure, the martial honour of the Red Knight is dear to him, and he is strongly discouraged from taking any action that would jeopardise the Red Knight’s reputation as a warrior despite Atmas’ otherwise rather opportunistic morals. Similarly, he keeps his downtime and his life as the Red Knight separate, believing this to be essential so he can let his guard down. Unless attacked or threatened, Atmas will not pursue his targets while not in the regalia of the Red Knight, something that’s likely to be known for characters familiar with the goings on of the underworld.

Personality (Please be descriptive): A dark-skinned woman of great beauty and mysterious origins. Despite her apparent age, she has the body of a woman in her physical prime that she flaunts to men that seek information from her; wearing revealing clothing and the like. Which makes it child's play for her to manipulate men. Her breasts are big, but her ego is bigger. She will often times gloat about her beauty and boast to boost her own ego.

She also has a much more mischievous and "playful" side, acting like a complete airhead in public to throw off all scent of her true motives. She has a hand in even the weirdest places because men are just so easy to manipulate, show a little skin and they'll agree with her idea, give them a good time and they'll bend over backward for her.

Background (What has led you to where you are today?):

A mysterious woman of unknown origins, she appeared in Uruk's underworld around the time of the coup. At that time, she was simply known as the "The Red Queen" or "Crimson Queen," due to her mainly dressing in red. However, she is now part of Uruk's noble, ruling class of citizens.

With eyes and ears everywhere, this woman knows everything about the city of Uruk. Information is available to her and those who request it for a price of course. She doesn't care for money or fame, what she cares for is information. The only way to get information from her is to have information that she wants and needs or be an extremely hot dude. But with her eyes and ears in every nook and cranny of Uruk, having information that she wants is difficult. Whereas other members of the underworld also have all information readily available, she has information on the Palace and royal family of Lesallum, as well as Osiris.

Rumors swirl around her daily, some say she was the one who orchestrated the coup of Uruk and the upcoming treaty with Lestallum. Others think that Osiris' ruthlessness might not be of his own accord and that she is stringing him along like a puppet, due to the fact that she visits Osiris in his private chambers every day. However, the biggest rumor is that her yearly party is nothing but a front for something much more sinister. A party where the guests are some of the most powerful aristocrats and politicians in the world, regardless of the country; as well as kings and queens of the underworld. Perhaps the fate of the world lies within the walls of this party, or perhaps it's just one gigantic orgy.

Big things are about to happen and war might just be brewing.

  • Divine Beauty: Her beauty is unparalleled. Men and women both stare and gawk at her for various reasons. Men want her, and women want her dead for setting unrealistic beauty standards. Thus it makes it easy for her to manipulate men to do her bidding.

  • Information Network: She has the deepest information network known to man, with information about everything and everyone readily available at the snap of a finger. There is nothing that she doesn't know about the world.

  • Manipulative: Osiris is nothing but a puppet, "Naomi" is the one pulling the strings from behind the curtains. Everything that Osiris had ever done, was done because she deemed it so. She also has a hand in Lesallum politics.

  • Hand to Hand combat: The Seer cannot win any engagement in Hand to Hand combat.

  • Huge Ego: Her breasts and buttocks aren't the only things that are huge, and she flaunts around. Her ego is quite possibly the largest in the land.

  • Men: She has a thing for powerful men, men who are not considered conventionally attractive or attractive at all.
