All Female PMC Group (Interest Check)

In an attempt to revive a plot idea I was part of almost two years ago now, I pose this plot once more. Before I go on, this idea is supposed to be very "90's action movie"-esque, tongue in cheek. So expect the women to be relatively unarmored, yet almost never hit by a round unless plot dictates it. So yes, I want a lot of explosions and "Yippy Ki-yay, Mother Fucker" one liners. Your cool factor is more powerful than kevlar for keeping you safe.



Imagine a Private Military Company who's ranks are filled with highly skilled, extremely well trained, and amazingly talented former military personnel, each of which is one of the best in their respective fields. Each member of this PMC has also never been taken seriously for one particular reason until joining this group; the fact that they are incredibly attractive women.

Using it's members' appearance as a gimmick, this PMC has become one of the world's foremost providers of privately contracted security services and para-military action, as well as a number of other services at their discretion. While they have come under fire for their marketing and hiring qualifications, they continue to work just beyond the reach of most legal standards through loopholes in various governments.

Now, why do these women continue to choose to work for a company that openly sells their looks? While the company does market the looks of it's operators as one of it's strategies, it also makes a careful note of the skill and training of each member. The PMC provides these women a place to utilize their skills without their looks detracting from their resume. It also provides them with the equipment they could only dream of in their previous military roles and the money to justify having little allegiance to any particular country.

Personality: Brash and confident, always the first in for a fight and the last out for a retreat. However, when on a solo mission her personally completely reverses, placing her as a calm and collected individual who places the mission over personal safety.
Background: Born and raised in a Rural American town, Sarah graduated from High School with high honors and a paid college stay. She graduated in 2008 at the head of her class, and while in college, found that she had a calling not only for MMA fights, but for subtlety. This lead her to apply for a position at the CIA under covert intelligence, a job that she managed to land. Three years later, she was working on a case in Indonesia when word reached her that she had been burned, and that her name was now tainted in every way possible. A year spent on the run lead her to the PMC group <insert group name here>, that promised protection from her enemies in exchange for working for them. Not seeing any other choice, Sarah joined with the PMC group to protect herself despite disliking their practices, particularly the swimsuit issue. Still, she has been an operative with them for a year now, and while her life has significantly improved, she still desires to know who exactly put the burn on her, and how she can get payback for what has happened.

She is best at quick and dirty work, she doesn't have the patience for slower, long-distance hacking.  She prefers to work on-site, cracking electronic locks, disabling closed security systems, and getting data from network isolated computers. 

Equipment: Rugged (Water/Shock Resistant) Laptop, M4, Pistol, Knife, various tools of the hacking/electronics trade.

Off Duty Outfit: Sweats and a t-shirt, or a full skirt-suit.

Personality: Brusque in the field, bubbly when off-duty.

Background: Natalie was born in South Africa, and recruited straight out of high school for the National Intelligence Agency.  She spent several years doing domestic work, usually helping access the computers or homes of high profile dissidents.  She eventually grew disillusioned, and bored, with her job and retired with a nasty virus that wiped out all the information on her in her employer's system.  She went free-market, hoping to make a killing so she can live in style.

Personality: She's the one kicking down all the doors, firing the first shot, tossing the first grenade. Firing the first shotgun blast, a big damn target so the rest of the ladies can get on in there and do what they do best. She's the Cool Big Sis in the group, the one always there to lend a guiding hand. Stern, but fair. Rough, but affectionate. In battle, she's part Blood Knight, part Engineer and great at what she does. She takes serious pride in her work. One would think her role as the big gal with the big guns would make her loud, brash, perhaps a bit obnoxious; not the case. If anything, she's a bit aloof and kind of a loner. For some reason, in the public eye, she has far more female fans than male. Especially in Japan, which she finds a little weird.

Background: Born to a father that had wanted a son and a mother that was too drunk to care, Gina spent much of her time engaged in decidedly male activities. She played every sport, took boxing lessons, and hung out with men. She had very little time for her own gender. It lead to the cool, aloof, loner-type that she is today. That cool and distant attitude seems to draw people to her. As soon as she was able, she joined the military and continued her loner streak there. She impressed her superiors by managing tasks faster alone than teams would together. It was in the military that she discovered her aptitude for engines and machines. What started as a hobby quickly became one of her passions. Always eager to impress, see more action, and prove that she was just as good (if not better) than any man, Gina enrolled in the SAS. The training was brutal, but she managed to make it through. It remains as one of her life's proudest moments. Yet it wasn't enough; the SAS aren't often on the front lines. They hit and run. Gina wanted to be the first one in, putting her boot to the asses of those that needed a good ass kicking. When the PMC made her an offer, she could hardly refuse.

Personality: Hinata is a crude strategist that hates to lose, and seems rather single minded in that pursuit. She has been called shrewd for her business tactics and savvy, though she considers it all to be well within "the rules". However, to those she really cares about, those she considers family, she is a truly caring individual with a sense of morality that puts the pope to shame at times. While she is more than happy to put her sexuality and her services on display for money, she will turn down a job she finds morally reprehensible... though often ending with her sulking at the loss of potential money after the fact. When in the field, she is more stern and precise, often showing through in her methodology of attack and defense. Off the field, she is cheery and chipper, and usually very happy to enjoy relaxing on the deck of the cargo ship the girls call a base of operations. She is also extremely likely to do crazy things just because the thought occurs to her, often earning a smack on the head from one of her trusted 'bodyguards'. In private, few get to see the quiet, reserved girl that enjoys playing her violin or reading one of her favorite manga.

Background: Born on the open sea in international waters, Hinata didn't really have any place to call home when she was young, other than the ship her father owned as part of his shipping company. She was raised to have a level head on her shoulders and be the perfect business woman, though in the process, the upbringing also made her rebellious and outgoing. As she got older, the respect her father had for her diminished in no small part due to her outgoing demeanor and constant antics, though she believed that it was do to not being a son. On her 18th birthday, Hinata took one of her father's ships and whatever money she could get from her shares in his company and decided to go off on her own to make a reputation for herself. At first, the only business she could get was as an arms dealer for warring nations who couldn't get quality arms any other way, though soon that business went under as the global arms race went under scrutiny. To avoid jail time, Hinata had to remain in international waters while she figured out a plan for the weapons she still had in stock. It was also at this time that she was raided by pirates hoping for a quick score. For the first time in her life, Hinata was truly scared for her life, and in that moment, took matters into her own hands. Taking out the handful of pirates with nothing more than a knife and her feminine charms, she realized what she was meant to do in life. Within the next five years, <insert PMC name here> was formed, and became known for it's... charms and skills.

Whatever you could reasonably use today if you knew a good arms dealer. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to help you along. I am a gun guru, so I can certainly figure something out for any character.

 Well I was thinking of adding a type of red-dot scope to a G3 battle Rifle?

The G3 is a great battle rifle, but if you're going to snipe, I would recommend the accursed version designed for such roles, such as the MSG-90. Also, a red dot sight wouldn't really provide any accuracy beyond a short range. A multi-zoom scope would be much better for such a role.

If you're wanting a semi-auto sniper rifle though, you can't go wrong with the PSG-1 or LWRC REPR. Both are very great designated marksman rifles.

 I've got my ideas for sniper rifles. I was wanting a red-dot sight for an assualt rifle for mid-range useage when the enemy is a bit too close for comfort. Also I mentioned that in addtion to being a sniper she was also a Weapons Specialist. Also which type of zoom scope might you recommend?

I wouldn't take a battle rifle as a back up as a sniper. You'd be carrying around way too much weight in that case. Try something more along the lines of a CQBR or a PDW class weapon in that case. I have a number of suggestions if you're curious.

As for zoom, I'd suggest a 3-9x40 or 3-12x40 scope, possibly with a red dot mounted in tandem for those emergency shot situations if you're really worried about that.

 How about this then. She's a sniper most times but when the situation calls for it she can move to the battle rifle for say close fire missions where a battle rifle is better suited? As for mid-range CQB I was considering the KRISS Super V. And for closer range a varity of pistols?

So she's less sniper more all rounder? I'm curious for this read. Can't wait.

 I was thinking her primary role on the team is to be the sniper but that doesn't stop her from adding firepower elsewhere. She spends alot of time on the range with people. Though I was curious would it be possible for characters to personally modify thier weapons beyond the usual modifications?

Seems like it would be difficult to fight and carry everything while wearing a bikini, and if they're allowed to wear combat gear over it, why wear it at all? I think the whole 'they use thier looks' angle should be something like they pose for magazines, adverts for the company, stuff like that to draw more clients and make money on the side.

 I actually think is the point of it. Why we have like three different images for our characters.

It is their gimmick and I get your point. However, when I say they are allowed combat gear, I mean a rig to carry ammo and a holster without covering much of their body. Part of the marketing they use is on site marketing. I will change this rule should I feel the need to though, if it gets troublesome.

That said, if you don't think you can reasonably carry 30 weapons into a fight with little more than a small backpack and a cummerbund that holds your magazines, you're not carrying 30 weapons. You can list all the equipment you might use depending on the situation, but you might not be able to bring all of it to bear all at once.

Personality: Alex is a gentle character as shown by her values in life. But she isn't a push over either, she will fight for her principles. Being the middle child of a family she knows how to take care of those under her as well talk to those above her in both rank and age.

Background: Alex was born and raised in a small suburb of Nome Alaska. She was the middle child out of three and by far the most free-spirited of all of them. Her parents worked out of the office of one of the big oil companies so alot of the time it was her older sister who took care of her and her younger sister. As they often had to go out to check on the pipelines her parents took their children out to meet with them and they stayed at the nearby Eskimo and Inuit settlements. This was the highlight of Alex's youth, listening to the village elders talk of stories of the spirits and of nature. Spending time amoung the villagers helped her discover a love of nature and her natural talent as a marksman. When she was old enough Alex was traveling out to the villages to go on hunts with some of the village girls. One particular hunt though her and one other girl were caught in a sudden snow storm. After building a shelter for themselves they huddled together to keep warm until it stopped. After it was over Alex sat around and had time to think over what had happened. It took her a bit of time but she eventually figured out that she actually liked being next to and being with women. Also growing up she developed a love of guns. Everytime she got a chance to she fired as many different guns as she could. Bolt-action rifles, sport rifles, assualt rifles, pistols even sub-machine guns. However her greatest love of all would be the bolt-action rifle. She loved the feeling of it as it fired. One shot was all she needed to take down game. After graduating from high school Alex decided to use her talants as best she could, which ment a life in the military. She kepted her sexuality a secret as that is the policy of the US Military and she joined up. Her accuracy skills began to show in her basic training. After her basic training was completed she went for further training to be a sniper, and she proved she was good at it. Better than alot of her male counter-parts. After she finally finished her training she was posted to a unit. Her time with her unit was good and they treated her fairly well. Right around the time her enlist was coming up for renewal there was an incident in which her own sexuality was discovered. After some debate her superiors decided that it would be best for her enlistment to expire. So after that happened she suddenly found herself out of a job and money running out fast. Soon after she was approached by a PMC with offer of money for her skills as both a marksman and as general assualt trooper and she gladly accepted it. She has been with the company now for about two years.

I see your point and have decided to take it to a poll to decide what route we take in this regard. So without further ado, here are the three options posed to those currently interested in the rp.

1: The original all bikini all the time mission uniform plan.
2: The "only for marketing" plan.
3: The mission specific plan.

The last one combines the best of both and allows us some flexablility. The swimsuits are the standard uniform for the group, but is not worn openly for every mission or situation. Fair enough?

What if they save the bikinis for marketing? They could be the first mass appeal PMC or something, really hit people with a sexy, almost friendly image. Do commercials, marketing stunts, etc. but on mission they're all business. You could make "low cut tops on missions policy" or something. Make the girls still have to show off some skin while also being practical about equipment loads and such. Offer incentives for doing missions with less clothing.

I'm fine with whatever, but swimsuits generally being reserved for marketing may make the most sense, excluding water focused missions.  A more generic "you must dress sexy" rule could work and leave things open for each girl to be unique.  It may also depend on the publicity of the mission.  If they are storming an embassy or something they would probably want to look better/more uniform than if they are going after a drug dealer in the middle of the jungle.

I'll agree to the "must dress sexy" rule. It seems rather reasonable if everyone else is alright with it. One note though in regards to what Jaded said, if they are hired to storm an embassy, that is a whole load of diplomatic issues that would best be dealt with in a way that doesn't make the ones holding the embassy think the CIA or SAS is going after them.

So, that said, keep your mission outfits impressive to the customers, but feel free to wear more equipment than a knife tucked into your bikini bottom. Part of the marketing is in the field marketing, but I'll let that slide a bit more than originally intended.



Second thing to bring up is the group's name. I'll ask that everyone PM me one suggestion, then I will post all suggestions to be voted on. Only rule is that you can not vote for your own suggestion. If we can not come to a semi-unanimous decision, then we'll figure it out from there. All agreed?

 I personally would be up for the swimsuites as a way of attracting customers then it's all buisness on the battlefield. But I can let go with the dress sexy as sexy doesn't always have to mean impracticle. After all Lara Croft pretty much a statement with a tank top, shorts and hiking boots.

That is a great idea MzHyde. I'm going to be setting up the OOC for the time being while we wait on the two that have expressed interest to submit characters and possibly gain a few more. If all else fails, we'll just run with the small group we have so far.

Personality:  Malice is arrogant and proud, doesn't take shit from anyone, and loves to pick fights of the verbal and physical kind.  She hates incompetent leadership and foolish risks.  Shoots first and asks questions later.  Likes explosions and gunfire.

Background:  Malice grew up in a rough, poor, urban hellhole in the southeastern United States with a single mom and a deadbeat dad.  Her only way out was to join the Marines with whom she got to travel the world, killing the new people she met and destroying the property she set foot on, visiting old hellholes and creating new ones, just like her home.

With her impressive physique and pretty face, she became a poster girl for the corps to recruit women.  She has trained in jungle warfare, arctic warfare, desert warfare, mountain warfare, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape).  Malice has gotten her hands on nearly every model of weapon the world has ever known, many times having taken them from dead enemies when she ran out of ammo.  Malice has also fed her dominant, sadistic nature by learning techniques in anatomy, physiology, restraints and torture.

On her last mission with the Confederated American States Marine Corps, her commanding officer insisted on calling in unnecessary danger close fire missions on "suspicious" villages which risked the unit, wasted air strikes, and leveled unoccupied buildings for the sake of earning the CO medals and commendations.  When Malice saw the coordinates the CO was calling in, she told the CO that the coordinates were invalid.  She moved the rest of the men to safety while the air strike landed on the CO.  She was dishonorably discharged and became a mercenary for hire.

She spends her time firing weapons, fixing weapons, lifting weights or sexually dominating multiple sexual partners.  She lives for combat, and plans to die in it.

Her personality, penchant for torture, and how you describe her history of creating hellholes and murdering people seem to be at odds with why she was discharged.

Malice might also have an issue with her current CO seeing as how it's bad business to level an entire city block and Hinata is all about making money. Also, stating that she was part of the "Confederated American Marine Corp" dates her in the 1860's, so that needs to be adjusted. Also, what MzHyde said is true, and her personality seems quite at odds with why she was discharged.

Background: For the longest time, Geavonna had never considered the military as her pathway. In high school, she was focused primarily on her boxing career. She was one of the top prospects in the state, but everything changed when she met a girl named Lucy. Lucy and her hit things off, began to date, and considered the possibility of a future together. Lucy was a member of the United States Air Force, and she always tried to convince Geavonna to enlist in the Reserves or Army to help fund her college hopes. Things were going well between them until Geavonna received an unexpected phone call from police. Lucy had been a victim of a vicious raping and murder, and the man was in custody.

Confused and lost, Geovonna ended up filling the void by dedicating herself to service. She enlisted in the Marines and became one of the only female recruits to survive the elimination process. Her tragic past and sexuality made her avoid any unwanted attention from her male comrades. Within time, she gained a reputation for being both a brute physically (she could out wrestle or box any male she knew) and unwavering when in danger. In her mind, she had nothing to lose, so she went head first. She was one of the few female Marines to see front line service, and the men loved her and saw her as "one of them." After two tours, she had matured considerably and moved on from her past to a degree. When the PMC offered her a position, she accepted it almost immediately. The thought of working with other women was too good to pass up, and she hoped to protect them in whatever way she could.

Equipment: Varies per missions - has used M249 squad automatic weapon, AI Arctic Warfare bolt action anti-material rifle, M14 enhanced battle rifle, M4A1 assault rifle, Colt M1911A1 .45 pistol, M79 grenade launcher, C4 explosives, claymore mines.
Appearance: 5'6", red-brown hair, blue eyes, fair skin, lean and muscular but with curves.
Off Duty Outfit: Malice prefers to wear as little clothing as possible - tank tops and short shorts if not bikinis or lingerie.
Swimsuit: Custom made denim o-ring bandeau and o-ring short shorts.
Personality:  Mona is arrogant and proud, doesn't take shit from anyone, and loves to pick fights of the verbal and physical kind.  She hates incompetent leadership and foolish risks.  Shoots first and asks questions later.  Likes explosions and gunfire, but during a mission it's all about controlling that energy.

Background:  Mona grew up in a rough, poor, urban hellhole in the southeastern United States with a single mom and a deadbeat dad.  She helped make ends meet with petty theft and joining a gang.  Her only way out was to join the Marines with whom she got to travel the world, killing the new people she met and destroying the property she set foot on, visiting old hellholes and creating new ones, just like her home.  Disillusioned with military service, Mona eventually left the service to do what she liked and was good at for more money and fame.

With her impressive physique and pretty face, she became a poster girl for the corps to recruit women.  She has training in SCUBA, parachuting, jungle warfare, arctic warfare, desert warfare, mountain warfare, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape).  Mona has gotten her hands on most of the models of weapons the world has seen, many times having taken them from dead enemies when she ran out of ammo.  Mona has also fed her dominant, sadistic nature by learning techniques in anatomy, physiology, restraints and torture.  She was also really good at sneaking into installations to plant explosives she assembled.

On her last mission with the United States Marine Corps, her commanding officer insisted on calling in unnecessary danger close fire missions on "suspicious" villages which risked the unit, wasted air strikes, and leveled unoccupied buildings for the sake of earning the CO medals and commendations.  When Mona saw the incorrect coordinates the CO was calling in, she moved the rest of the men to safety while the air strike landed on the CO.  She was dishonorably discharged and became a mercenary for hire.  It's one thing to blow stuff up abandoned buildings during training or enemy headquarters during battle.  It's quite another to put at stake the lives of soldiers and civilians for personal gain. 

She spends her time firing weapons, fixing weapons, lifting weights, practicing jiujitsu or sexually dominating multiple sexual partners.  She lives for combat, and plans to die in it.
